My only suggestion is to not have the Cabazon Rd location in Indio as an option because it no longer exists.

I didn’t personally see this location. The truck was supposed to be dropped off at another location, but George/Nate at this U-Haul were extremely accommodating and we very much appreciate their kind professionalism. Shout out to Chris at T&T Movers. He was instrumental in turning an unexpected, bad situation around, and it’s thanks to him for going to bat for us and helping to resolve what could’ve been very problematic event. Thank you, guys! PS: As stated, I didn’t see the drop-off location, but my review couldn’t be submitted without rating the location/condition of location.

We received the cargo van with fuel below 1/4 tank and were told the previous renter returned it that way. This was very inconvenient and we should not have been penalized for this. All equipment should be fully fueled and ready for the next customer.

Service was as expected. Gald the folks there were able to help secure the vehicle to the dolly, and test the lights before the trip. Down the road after some weather my new truck reported a fault in the lighting system. I found the u haul in redlands on Alabama @ i-10 and stopped where the nice man there helped me find a new wire that was NOT having exposed copper wire. Then it worked again for a time until another set of weaTHER WHEN IT FAILED AGAIN. :-(

The storage unit and system for arranging rental is straightforward, and staff is great at giving information on options, and with answering questions. Storage area is safe, and the hours for accessing the storage are very good.

I was fortunate to find a truck to use for just a few hours. Indio is a very busy store with people moving into and out of the Coachella Valley. Maybe having a few dedicated trucks just for Indio would make sense and fit a little more local clientele. Maybe the numbers will work. Indio has always been my go-to location and it has always been a busy one.

Excellent from start to finish! George check me in, hooked up the trailer and I was gone in under 10 minutes. He saw me drive in to drop it off and was out of the office, unhooked the trailer and I was on my way home. Best service ever.

I usually get great service at this location. I reserved a motorcycle trailer but when I got there the employee could not find it so he offered a larger trailer. I had to make the move so I used it even though it was heavy and so used more gas (I should have taken the $50). Return was flawless mainly because of the employee. The lady’s that work here are incredible! Faster, work just as hard and most of what I see they work harder, even with beautiful 2” nails! It’s still a great place to rent just hope to get a lady to help you, they are the best.

Truck had some issues stopping on interstate. Figured it was my weight but was apparent when empty that was not the case

The people who work at this location have bad attitudes and are not considerate to customers. The location was over 20 miles from my house in the wrong direction from where I was going and I was still required to pay the 40 extra miles that I had to travel in the rental because there was no truck close to my house although there are U-Haul locations less than a mile away.

There was confusion about my container at this location. My moving help I hired through U-Haul had a problem and a long wait to pick up the container which rushed us on the other end to pack. I paid for container and loading help through I-Haul then Willie The Moved wouldn’t load unless I paid him another $100 cash. We need to review reimbursement for that and the container arriving late.

Unfortunately, the truck had been broken into and gas siphoned out prior to my arrival. Through no fault of the business there was a wait to put gas into the vehicle. But I have been renting trucks here for my charity events and will continue to do so.

Super easy and convenient. We were in a pinch and when I found out there was storage on site, it relieved a lot of stress for my family. Storage is very large and easy to access. We love Indio uhaul! They have always been there for us when we needed a trailer and always very honest and helpful employees. Would recommend 100%! Oh and storage pricing... unbeatable!

I reserved a storage unit online and surprised there was one available. Went to the facility after a long day of packing. I paid for the unit before even looking at it. We got to the unit and UHaul could not get “their” lock off. 3 employees have tried and myself included. They offered me a UBox and said yes your stuff would fit and after I paid for that and saw it. I just laughed. I got a refund on all the transactions hopefully. Spent 3 hours there and nothing was done. I give it to the staff for trying but I went over the miles on the rented truck what I was going to do looking for another storage unit. Very unhappy and spent more than what I was going to spend on miles, gas and my time. HOT TIP: make sure you look at the unit before you give them your credit card.

Staff was helpful in person but trying to get ahold of them by phone was near impossible. I was promised many calls that I never received. It was a relief to be done with the process.
