The Online booking systems was brutal ( confirmed trailer I ordered was at a different location on a different day), but he Staff at the Indio store did a excellent job to fix my order and get me on my way!

Your gasoline policy is great for you but cheats users. I picked up the truck with half a tank and returned it with three quarters no REFUND . My loss your gain

There are three major things that need to be changed to improve customer service: 1. Let customers know of truck cancelation more than 24 hours notice as well as provide alternative trucks when the issue is on your company. This led to us having to go three hours out of our way to get a truck to move on our specified date. 2. Have your employees know the procedures and policies for specific transactions. We had a gift card for our inconvience and the person told us to wait until we dropped off the truck to use it. When we dropped off the truck they said they couldn’t use the gift card because we didn’t use it when we picked up the truck. 2 hours later at the location nothing was accomplished. 3. When your manager/president or who ever says they are going call you to fix the problem within 48 hours make sure they call you. It has been almost a week and no one has called (First name Paul at the Indio location). This was the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul. The employees at the location were helpful however customer service over the phone and policy and procedures were absolutely atrocious and has greatly deterred us from wanting to continue our business with the company.

Trailer was not properly installed at the pick up location and almost cause me to lose control of my truck and have an accident on the highway, it Was a very scary experience for my family!!

Change the way you charge for gas used....entirely dependent on how the level was last marked by the attendant and the accuracy of the gas gushed. I was going to be charged for over two gallons despite the odometer showing that I only drove 14 miles. Situation corrected by manager.

The truck exterior was very dirty and the windshield has just been replaced, with the blue tape left on. The truck itself was fine, but it would be nicer/safer if the mirrors were adjustable. I tried pushing the mirrors outward so I could see the roadway rather than just the side of the truck, but could only move them up or down and not outward.

Use of the phone check in was overly complicated and the personnel were no help, even though I had done as much as possible on line before I went to get the truck it was over 30 minutes for me to actually get the truck once I arrived. The technology involved was unhelpful and too complicated and time consuming and the staff was unwilling to be of assistance.

Well i paid for a dolly rental and no dolly was included. On top of that, the truck was on EMPTY when I left the lot, I went straight to the gas station and put $20.00 in the tank...I was told I would be credited for gas and I dont know whether or not I was given the credit. The experience was a awesome. I will most definitely do this again in the near future.

I arrived on time to pick up my reservation only to find out it was not available. They gave my reservation to someone else? They sent me 20 miles out of my way to get the same trailer. This is second time in a year they gave my reserved trailer away? Cmon man what s up with this BS? I should get a credit for all the hassle. Scott Whiteman

On my contract I was told to take this location but they were closed and there was no drop box to drop off my keys. So we had to wait on hold for 30 min and called several numbers to finally be told that we had to drop off at another location.
