I had a terrible experience with U-Haul that I feel needs to be addressed. My reservation was for 8 AM on a Saturday, but the truck provided was dirty and didn’t have the dolly I reserved. I had to drive to another location just to get the dolly, which was extremely inconvenient. Even worse, I couldn’t get a replacement truck until 12:30 PM because the location didn’t open until 10 AM. This delay pushed my schedule back by over 5 hours. Staff showed no empathy and there was a complete lack of urgency or accountability. The issues continued into Sunday when I went to access my reserved storage unit. The process took over an hour and a half, and the employee still couldn’t get me into my unit. I was told to come back the next day, which added even more stress and inconvenience to an already exhausting weekend. This entire experience was unacceptable. I was highly inconvenienced and lost valuable time due to U-Haul’s poor service and lack of coordination. I would like to request compensation for the delays and the trouble I experienced.

Brandon was amazing! But I was really disappointed when U-Haul notified me the day before that the truck I reserved was dropped off in Memphis and they had to push my pick up date back. I also ended up picking up the truck and there were no dolleys available. This made my move really stressful

First I had a 6x12 trailer reserved for pickup on Thursday, May 22,2025. After going through all the paperwork my credit card charged $339.00, no trailer. I asked for a ten foot truck for the same price. No way they had at lease 8, 10ft trucks, they stated they where all local truck. They told me that i could get a 150ft truck for $450.00. I had to be on the road that afternoon to get to Crossville Tn. I had no choice but to take the 150ft truck. They told me that they could not refund my $339.00, but the bank would credit my account in 3 or 4 days. No I got $789.00 on my bank account. I would recommend this place to anyone. The owner was there alone with the manager. The bottom line i was guaranteed a 6x12 trailer. They told me I could drive a 120 round trip to pick up a trailer a different location. This is not over i will be call corporate.

Uhaul now requires you to give 2 "emergency contacts" to rent from them. Or at least this is what the employee made me do before I could complete my rental AFTER I had already reserved online. None of this was mentioned during the online reservation and was really aggravating considering you have to give out people's information to a company. Upon returning the equipment I waited in the return lane for about 5 minutes and no one came outside. I walked inside to find 5 employees just sitting behind the counter and not a customer in site. The first lady I asked about my return just halfway mumbled a unintelligible answer. One employee then came to assist me. While the other employees didn't even look up from their phones. I have had very poor customer experiences here in the past. So I definitely won't return here.

I had to wait outside as per the signs on the parking lot for the check in which was almost 10 minutes. I assumed that there was only one person working inside causing the delay. Confusion about the drop off location had to be taken inside to talk to a supervisor to resolve. Overall the drop off was slow but smooth.

Everyone new needs training but to keep a customer waiting for more than 10 minutes without even an acknowledgement? No. There employees on the floor, one with an active customer, the other a trainee who has no idea how to use the computer or the phone app so he's constantly disturbing the employee who's waiting on the customer... finally the third employee comes from the back, speaks to me then sends the trainee out with me to do my return. The Man can't figure out how to use the phone app. No, this was a really awful experience with UHAUL.

Great experience, I was assisted by a fairly new CSR named David. He did a great job and seemed happy to be there. Equipment was in good shape, I arrived right at 7pm while they were locking up, but they still checked me in.

The staff person who handled my order was professional. However, they either intentionally or unintentionally did not tell me how an extended rental is priced. The manager, who was rude, insisted that the policy was in the paperwork. Unfortunately, I did not find the paperwork until recently and the fee was not as he claimed nor was it highlighted. I ended up spending significantly more than I intended and would not have extended the rental had I known that I was going to get gagged for significantly more. $29/day is a farce!

Employees are rude and disrespectful. There is absolutely 0% professionalism. The rules don't apply to those who are in charge at this store. They threatened to cancel my reservation because my phone froze up and wouldn't scan my ID causing me frustration. The dude in charge thinks he's a king and someone needs to knock him off his pedestal before he gets himself shot.

Making the online process easier would be great. It was hard to find the lock boxes for the keys. Plus it would only let me select ravenden as the drop off location when there is a U-Haul location in the town of Pocahontas that I live in. The whole experience was poor!

We waited in line for over a hour to only see the representative outside moving a trailer when he told us to hold on he needed to use the bathroom. Poor P.R. for sure, would never have my business again.

The exterior of the trailer was filthy. I preordered my trailer. The checkin process was horrible. It should not take over 45 minutes to get the trailer. I am going to try to find a new vendor to rent trailers in the future. I could buy a trailer with a lot less hassle than renting it from U Haul.

I rented an appliance dolly online. Did self check in and no dolly was in the truck. Had to return to the store when they opened, wait in a long line, to retrieve appliance dolly only to find out they don’t have any in stock. This delayed my start time by several hours. Truck had a tire seal that was leaking fluid all day.

Terribly understaffed and slow. When I called to ask questions and change my rental, my first wait on hold was 45 min. Second time was 30. When I rent from there, there is always a line and only one person working with customers. They cash you out and also take you to the equipment. So it is always slow. Very frustrating.

Still waiting for the refund of some of my payment for renting the equipment. Trailer was dirty and falling apart. Truck was not clean it had dirt all in the floor boards and sounded like it hasn't had an oil change in months. Would not recommend.

The van they rented to me was in very poor shape. Tire pressure indicated low pressure. The passenger door flew open when I turned the corner because the handle was stuck open. The value of this was not at all worth what I paid Wait times turning it in and renting it for too long as well.

My things fit in the storage so tightly I couldn't ever entered the complete length of time I held it would have been nice to be able to retrieve things once in a while. I'll tell the next person I know who's renting !!

Moved into Jonesboro uhaul storage unit the first week of April 2023. On April 24, 2023, I went to get items out of the storage unit and noticed that the ceiling had fallen down on my personal property. I took pictures and notified Uhaul representative of the damaged to my property. Months went by, I received a call from the manager saying I had to move out of the damaged unit. On Aug 2023, I filed a claim with my homeowners insurance. Uhaul representative would not return calls to my insurance claim adjuster the claim was denied. July 2024, my property was damaged again by rain water 💦, leaking from the the ceiling. All of the boxes in the front of the unit was damaged and wet. I had to trash most of my clothing items in boxes wet and mildew, wood bookshelf, table, damaged trashed. I moved out. No I will not subject anyone to the experience I had with your company.

My only complaint would be how hard it is to get through on the phone, especially during morning hours. It may be a staffing issue - not enough help? But overall, I am very pleased with the service at the Jonesboro location. I have used them several times.

Absolute zero communication between the staff. Even if you call and make a payment arrangement, they will still harass you multiple times a week. The first time the DM was supposed to call me I was at work. She did not leave a voicemail. The second time, it took her over a week to return my call. The staff on Red Wolf were always friendly and helpful. BUT the app is the absolute WORST. I was moving from out of state and used it to reserve truck, etc but it kept Canceling my reservation! And when I arrived to get my truck and supplies, there was no reservation for me nor an appropriate storage room! I had to use another facility! Then, when I was moving from storage to my home, I went In Person to the local facility to reserve my truck. I got a call the next day telling me that the large truck I'd reserved wasn't going to be available until hours later so I'd have to take a small one instead. Because I'd hired movers, this was a big problem. I was MAD!! I don't feel at all comfortable referring anyone to use UHaul, especially using that app, which is a joke. This sure made a tough situation (moving) waaaayyyyy harder and more stressful! You need a complete makeover with that app. And explain to me why the truck I reserved wasn't available the next day....????? Not happy.....

I was moving my things out and had some furniture left sitting next to the fence. I had to go get a trailer and when I returned my things were in the dumpster. I had already went inside to tell them I needed the dumpster unlocked that I was moving. They said ok but don’t put any furniture in there. So for them to throw my things away.

The storage units here are poorly maintained. Many of them have roof leaks so using them is taking a risk of your items getting wet.

I rented a unit from the local uhaul location. To start off the rep put me in the wrong unit on my contract. I went up there hours later to move my things into the storage unit. My access code did not work. I had to go inside and find out that I was not set up right. The lady rep apologized and fixed it and said that I would get a month free even after I paid for the month. I asked her if it was set up on auto draft she confirmed. I waited for the payment to come out and it never came out and I was told that I was late. I talked to the manager and he stated that it was my responsibility to make sure I’m paying it on time. I ended up getting angry with him and I moved out and went with a better company! I will not be back!!! I highly do NOT recommend to anyone! There is a HUGE communication problem at this store! There is also a problem with the yard they have there! Every time I went to my unit I would have to go inside and have them move tow boxes out of the way. It is super inconvenient to have to spend 10 minutes to wait in line to ask an employee to go outside and move their equipment to get the unit you rented!

When I went to close the building one staff member was very unhelpful. While I was waiting to be helped he got on the phone and then when he got off the phone he walked around aimlessly. He never even asked if he could help me. When the other worker finished with who he was helping I had to ask if I could finally be helped. I won’t be back.

The online system did not wirk well. I had to confirm and reconfirm my order. The lights in the halls of the stirage untils are slow to respond. Some of the sliding handles on the locks stick. But overall, I was able to store materials and get access to my storage. Get something to hold open the stirage hall door. Sweep the halls. Fix the front door of the store.

It did not appear anyone ever cleaned lanes in front of units , I picked up screws and nails every time I went there. I seen glass piles in same spot for weeks, uhaul equipment was parked in such away it was hard to get in and out , I never seen anyone patrolling lot although I was told there was I went there two or three times a week as I had craft stuff stored there and it was a bit scary after dark

When I picked up truck, gas tank level between a1/4 and 1/2. When I dropped it off, that’s where the level was. I still had to pay 14$ . Ride was very comfy. I couldn’t figure out how to play my music. Otherwise, everything was great. Thank you 😊

My problem was that when I called to extend my rental I was told I could but when I made it to pay I was told I couldn't and only had a couple hours to find storage and find help to unload truck, had no choice but to rent storage unit from U-Haul cause the day was about over. Didn't understand how could agreement change in a hour when I already had truck.

The gas pricing was way to high and due to the deposit, I didn't have the extra money to put back in gas so instead of getting my deposit and filling up with gas I had to pay almost six dollars a gallon and that made me very unhappy. But it is what it is. And left me with no funds for food or anything. But the staff was great!

Got to the U-Haul rented a truck and a storage unit left to load my stuff drove back just to realize I never actually got my storage unit after I paid and showed proof of my drivers license. I had to drive back to get my id and debit card because my information never did get finished processing in their system.The guy kept trying to give me a hard time and also down talk the new employee so unprofessional if you ask me .The storage unit was so ran down looking and very small for a two bedroom home I Couldn’t use the storage unit and they couldn’t give me anything larger I wasted my time and money just to be play with all day I will never go back

The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating at move out. The facility is we maintained however the unit I was given had a tear in the roof and birds inside. I let the manager know and had to wait several days and the roof issue was not fixed. On my move in day he taped up the ceiling but it was done poorly. The issue was the same upon move out. Based on everything else I think this was an isolated occurrence. The owner helped me with a truck and car dolls rental upon move out and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable!

I had a climate control unit. King Mattress was ruined by water coming up thru the concrete, no moisture barrier below the concrete. Because I hadn’t taken out additional insurance No compensation!🤬
