The location is clean and nice. Antoine and the other gentleman (forgot his name) working Saturday, May 31, 2025 had excellent customer service! However, the young lady who checked me out on Sunday, June 1 was not as customer friendly. In fact, she apologized for speeding through the documents-stating they just had a “rush”. As a customer, that’s not my issue. Maintaining your composure and staying poised under pressure is needed in this fast-paced environment because can impact the customer experience. As it is did here. The beginning was good but the ending wasn’t. The prices to rent an $19.99 vehicle (as advertised) are ridiculous. Especially for ONE day. All the added fees are unexpected and should be advertised as well. I will definitely consider other options for moving needs.

CYNTHIA WThe experience i had renting a uhaul this time almost makes me not want to us uhaul again. First we had an appointment in bowie and we showed up on site and they never left the key in the lock box for pick up. Next we transfered it to Latham, then they gave me a truck with and engine light they had to clear they said it was a sensor. I left the lot to go .5 miles down the road and the brakes were making a terrible noise and the vehicle was smoking. After that they gave me another truck that was dirty and not cleaned. The wiper blades are bad and did not give a clear vision. The truck has a bad tire that bounced everywhere going down the road. There organization was not up to par. I requested a call from management that I did not receive still. These vehicles should be safely road ready for customers and they were not. Terrible experience renting uhaul this time. But drop off was easy !

MOTT GFailed rating. No one bothered to go out and inspected the vehicle AFTER, I saw the low tire driver side on the dashboard and the engine sounded crappy. That night the tire went completely flat after we loaded and had to call roadside assistance to get the tire change. Second, the battery went dead 2 days later and had to call again and on top of that they gave me a freaking $50 discount. I'm definitely putting this review on Google for others to see.

However, I rented a 10x20x8 and there were none available and the only units that were close to that size were up stairs. Who the [insert explicative] has storage facilities that has an upstairs to them WITHOUT a ramp or elevator? Seriously!!! This doubled my time in off-loading a truck not to include the physical exhaustion from it. Who ever designed these only looked at it from a U-Haul perspective and not a customer's. Again staff was great, U-Haul, not so much. I do not foresee using U-Haul storage again because of it sadly.

I took the closest they had and asked for a bottom floor. Come to find out all the large ones they had that were close in size were UPSTAIRS with NO ramps or elevators!!! Who the [insert explicative] designs a storage facility that has an upper area with ONLY stairs??? Seriously? This was designed in U-Haul profits perspective, not from the customer that has to unload their items!! Like I said the team there was great, but this experience was horrible...also not to mention that EVERY SINGLE TIME I had to get back in the facility I had to swipe for the door to open. All this extended my unloaded 2x what it should have taken. I do not foresee using U-Haul again do to this experience.

QUION WI've rented the same motorcycle trailer 3 times in the last 30 days from the same location. The last time the mark was missed. I removed straps left from another renter. They were trash, I assume that is why they were left behind. Upon returning the trailer, the lobby was busy. I stopped in spoke to the gentleman about the return (I disconnected it myself). I was told my receipt would be emailed. The next day I received a phone call from Uhaul asking if I would like to extend my rental. I drove back to ensure the rental was closed out. I waited for a hard copy receipt. Overall this location does a good job. Mistakes happen. I make mistakes at work myself. I think a review at the end of each day would have caught the mistakes made.

KIRK DI rented a truck movecmy storage across the street. I went less than a mile. I was chage $16 plus in gas. I not sure if they even pay attention to how dirty the truck was and the gas.

ORAL BWhile I will ultimately recommend, the experience I had with U-Haul was unnecessary. I had to call to get my account closed because it was still running as if I still had the truck. I did get a refund in the end due to their errors, but it took a heavy lift on my end to get there.

ROBERTO JTrucks aren't clean, I have rented at the location for a few years and the trucks are never fully clean. Cup holders always sticky and crumby, sides of the door grimmy, and floors are not vacuumed. The only thing that is noticeably clean are the seats and steering wheel.
NATASHIA CAttendant was rude, condescending and unprofessional. I always rent from this location since I moved to Glenndale in 2008. Never have I experienced this poor customer service.
JACQUELINE MI rented the truck for 24 hours and returned it early because the engine check came on. I wasn't going to drive a car with any problems.
EMERSON CThree tires were bald on the van. I had a slow leak an it didn't reveal itself until day two. The Uhaul roadside assistance to over 5 hours and I was stranded on a two lane road. Literally lost a day and should be credited for the rental. Its al documented. The light panel in the interior cabin was broken. Poor maintenance
EDWARD FWe had a bad snow storm on Monday so on Sunday i parked in the handicap spot with my grandma parking permit because it was the safest spot to park for that reason and i forgot to take it out and one of the cleanup person stole it and the manager have not done anything to help the situation I WILL NEVER USE NO Recommend TO any one

HARUNA KOnly change, your staff who answer the phone should "ASK, if they may place you on hold," don't just blurt that out, then put the customer on hold. I find that rude and unprofessional. And, if the cell phone reception wasn't good, and you didn't even hear what was said or know what's going on, then to be put on hold? That can be confusing, and my time is just as worthy as your establishment. Other than that, customer service was good.

My payments were due on the 26th. I was told if am moving out on the first l should be fine with the July payment already made. August first l got a truck from Uhaul to move my stuff. Instead of the staff l talked to, closing the storage account, they didn’t and l got multiple emails about payment when l already addressed that before move. That was not acceptable.

At 7pm, I was told the garage doors were locked going to be locked and I would have to enter through a single door. That is devastating news to a person who is paying movers by the hour. Additionally, the entryway was blocked due to auction waste. The staff cleared just enough for us to access the door, but the rest of the waste was left for us to navigate. It was disgusting. I have the pics to prove it, and I have the pic of the associate locking the door in my face, when she could of easily let me slide one more load through the garage door, before she locked it. Poor condition, poor service and unclean environment.

Also, location of the unit in proximity to the loading dock was dicey; go down one row, turn right, go down another row to get to unit. Not easy (tiring) when you have physical mobility issues. Overall the storage area is cleaner/nicer than Public Storage I have used in the past.

I complained about roaches being in my unit and you will even see them crawling down the hall. I was told that I should have gotten the insurance from them and possibly it would cover the expenses of getting pest control. Later I went to my unit and it was full of rodent droppings. Some of my items are ruined. The previous staff when I first moved into the unit was wonderful and very helpful, they did not mind explaining things. The staff now seems to not care about the customers or their belongings. The 24 hour access i paid monthly for did not get me the access. One one day the doors were open and the next day they were locked and the card will keep denying you to get in. Not convenient at all. There seem to be a lot of staff turnover and no consistency in the policies either. I am very disappointed with my rental

When I first arrived in the office the clerk ignored my showing him, on my phone, my reservations and only did the small items. I had to return and ask for management to have the storage portion, main portion, completed. This unit is not satisfactory because as told I have few but extremely heavy items. The stairs will cost me more to have my items moved when that time comes. There was a lack of knowledge from management and employee were not willing to share their knowledge to make sure all ran well, no teams work. This reflects on the employees more than the manager who is new.

It would be best to take one of her staff members to put them in place of managing vs the current manager who goes by the name of D. Also, I spoke with a few others who are renting units at this location and they complained about mice on the first floor. My unit was on the second floor and I did not have any issues with mice. However, I did see a mouse on the first floor.

I informed the front desk staff who was incompetent, rude and unprofessional. Ebony was eating and seemed completely disinterested during my visit. The manager, Brittany was not knowledgeable and only offered her card. They were unable to even tell me if my unit had insurance. Needless, to say I will never use Uhaul storage, nor will I recommend your company to anyone. Awful experience and extremely disappointing.

Bobby J | Overall ExperienceAt 1st I've made reservation to get the storage as well u-haul truck but when I arrived at the storage a young lady was helping me and never finished the processed regarding to have the key for the storage but gave me the car key for the track, however when I came back another young lady was helping me but couldn't find my info & it took her almost half an hour or maybe more to do the process so I can get the storage key & my time was limited at the time & both us was frustrated but the young man with the dreads who was doing almost everything going in the storage was helpful but not the ladies & as of community leader I was late 2do community work, in the end I was happy it was over & the purpose of reservation is to have everything done before arrival & that didn't happen & I was told a limited time to return the truck, so pls take care of the matters & hoping u all well in this very difficult time thx

As I approached, she paused her conversation and though she asked how can she help, I since she was not very much into customer service. Why do I say that? When I asked about prices and space sizes, she simply pointed from a seated position rather that getting up and directing me. After signing the agreement, she handed me my paper and gave me unclear directions as to where my storage room was located. Most of all, she didn't explain to me that I need the access card to get into the building. I actually didn't notice the access card till she caught my attention as I was walking away and she said I needed it to get into the storage area. It took me a while to find my storage locker and when I returned to ask about rather there were elevators in the facility, she paused a cell phone conversation and gave me the look of, "now what does he want?" She could have explained from the beginning that my locker was on the second level and there were no elevators or ramps to get there, only stairs.
mark c | First ImpressionsThe registration agent at the facility rude and dismissive and the employee that was on staff w/ her first 7 minutes of my intake was spent trying to tell her that I wasn't there to pick up a truck. She refused to except information from my registration for the storage space, after an exhausting 7 minutes we began the process to secure my space. We get to the space there's a green tag on the door I cut the tag a deafening sound blared over for 3 mins. Now we make it back to the truck while we are off loading a staff member comes thru not once but three (3) times(each time he came through he found something laugh about or make a commit) to to tell us the large sliding door will lock at 7 and all moving will be thru the small door. This was undeniably unreasonable request that brought on a toxic level of stress to beat the clock. We did just that packed the unit wrestler the required lock we were forced to purchase despite the fact we came w/a lock for the unit. What if we didn't have the money to support the forced purchase. You are dealing with induvial that are in tight situations make quick move under direst to force people to purchase a lock that truly doesn't properly fit the unit it took two people to close the unit one to fit the small facing into the hole and force the key to close and the other to level the door so that the lock fits yet another example of unnecessary stress added when dealing with the facility. So we are done, unit is closed then we remembered we needed to get an item . We unlock the unit that deafening sounds starts and never stops, we scrambled to find the item the was sound blaring it distorted us we couldn't think after leaving the facility we had head pain that was unbelievable. It was a horrible experience to say the least from start to finish.
