KENT MMobile pickup and droppff was terrible and not worth it I would never recommend this to anyone. Even though it was mobile pickup I still had to go in and get keys. Dropoff area was full and it was unclear how to proceed. There were two slots to drop keys into, hope I picked the correct one. Overall the rental was fine but the pickup and drop off processes were terrible.

WILLIAM RInform people what they’re getting before just sending them on their way. Take time to explain things to your customers. They use an American system in Canada. So it’s setup for confusion and entrapment. We rented a truck and were told it was 1.19 a km then we get back from our move and it’s 1.92 a mile. They don’t say anything to you before hand explaining anything. And then you get back and your price is double what the estimate is because they don’t explain things. Oh and the employees didn’t show up/open the store until 7:30am and opening time is 7am. So that put us behind an hour we didn’t get out until 8-8:15 yet our time of renting the truck stayed at 7am even though they were late, not us. So that cut into our time of having the truck of course. Will never rent from them again. Terrible experience, terrible customer service, terrible system. I will never use uhaul again anywhere in the world and I’ve lived in London my whole life, know a lot of people and I will be telling all my friends and family to never use uhaul again aswell. It’s not worth it. Go down the street to Bennett rental where there are no hidden fees. Don’t rent or loose your money to this terrible company.

DOUGLAS RI received great service from U-Haul overall. The only thing is - when I arrived the line up was 20 feet deep. It took about 10 minutes maybe a bit more for someone to come by and check everyone's app and tell me that because I had a trailer rental I could go right up front to another person. There should have been a sign or lines to show this.

NIDAL AEverything with my experience was good except for the shipping. My ubox wasn't shipped out on the day I was advised it would be. I was only provided "guaranteed by" date, which made it challenging as to when I would receive my things, and therefore I was in limbo for 2 weeks waiting and not knowing. And when I'd check the site, it was showing me a date of Aoril 14th when I was told it was guaranteed to be delivered by the 12th. Needless to say, I had issues with finding movers to unload. Thank goodness for Tom here in Glendale AZ who went out of his way to help me out. If it wasn't for him, my things would still likely be sitting in the ubox here at my place waiting for movers to find the time to help me.

Joey BIt was OK, but the pick-up was not ready when we arrived at the set pick-up time, so we waited for it to be retrieved from the lot and hooked-up. Then the turn signals didn't work so they had to find another truck. Turn signals worked on second truck but we were 45 mins late leaving, and upon driving away we realized the new truck had no gas, so the first thing we had to do was fill up. I put $50 in and only got a $18 gas credit. Plus, I thought 150 km was included on the in-town rental but I was charged for every KM I drove at $1.09 per km (totaling $89), which makes a mockery of the "Rent this truck for 19.95 a day!" decal on the side of the truck. Finally, there was a line-up in the rental office upon arrival, due to slow service at the font desk. Overall, disappointing. But the truck and trailer worked great. Thank you.

I usually end up having to go out of my way to get gas also. Make gas included in the price or something. And a fee or something if brought back with less than 1/2 tank. And discount the rental if person does put gas in. I dunno. Gotta be a smart way to avoid all these $5-7 useless errands...

I guess I had to pay extra because I inconvenienced them ??... I have almost always used clarke road uhaul to rent trucks and first time renting a storage unit and now the last time ....usually a friendly place until you cancel when they are having a busy day...and they forget...my fault for giving them my business I guess

Norm A | First ImpressionsI was grateful to see Fatma, a supervisor and now Franchise manager of the Clark Road facility. The Only “Tripping-up” problem I experienced at U-Haul was the fact that it appears the truck I was first Offered showed overfilling in both the engine and transmission. This may not matter in a short local Trip 20 to 40 miles (at max rural road speed limits) within city limits, but could lead to compression ring problems in the engine and transmission seal leakage problems for distances in excess of 500 miles of highway driving. These two overfills could be resolved by carefully draining engine oil while checking the level and pumping some transmission fluid out using a ciphoning pump up through the filler neck then checking this level also. But then there is no comment blog for technicians or mechanics, so administration gets an A+.

There was always plenty of carts available. I felt comfortable going there by myself. There was always staff around during business hours. Changing lockers to a different size was very easy. When I asked to purchase use of dumpster for 3 small storage totes, the employee said they had to check if it had room. On return she said I was lucky, as it was empty. Before I was able to purchase the use of it, the employee said she had to ask her manager (which seemed strange) who in return said no I could not purchase the use of the advertised dumpster, because she needed it. I would not recommend u-haul based upon the rude manager.

We have witnessed one employee dealing rudely with a black customer since there was a language barrier but her mode instantly changed on the next client who were white people. I felt bad for the black guy. For us we have a couple of times experienced being charge a penalty fee because we were late with the payment for a day or two and there wasn’t a notice sent to us. My card at that time was changed because It got scammed and because I was busy I forgot informing their office about my card change. But after a day I was already fined for overdue payment. And our unit was locked. Although as soon as I remembered, I called them and my call was directed to their main office and I was informed that a day delay won’t penalize me, that I’m still good until 5 days. But I paid the second day of my delay. And yet I was still penalized, without getting any notice for reason given by their staff that everything was in the contract. The other times I had to change my card but when I called the office to settle matter, the staff I’ve talk to was rude on the phone. I got annoyed that time with how the reception was talking to me and so I might have raised my voice a bit but she threatened to cut me off, that I got to apologize even though I know they shouldn’t be dealing with their clients that way. I work with clientele as well, so I maybe know proper and nice treatment, modesty aside. We loved the facility, it is clean and safe and a real nice storage, but client treatment and service was bad for us. My apology for these comments but clients have the right to be treated nicely since we deal with them nicely too and we are paying all our fees. I commend the lady (forgot to check her name) who checked out the unit when we did the return. Also the lady who gave us the tour when we first visited the facility. The only two nice people that we met at this storage. Thank you anyway U-haul for taking care of our needs.

I explained to her I was there to clean out my deceased mothers storage locker and this was a very hard day for me. We chatted and bonded over the fact both of our moms had passed away from COPD. Stella was extremely friendly with me which initially made me feel very comfortable. She walked me all the way to my unit and stood outside to chat with me for a little. She showed me one of her tattoos which I resonated with. Over all I thought it was a very positive experience, and even mentioned how friendly she was to me to one of the staff upon my last visit. Only to find out this exact same employee later told the management she “no longer wanted to deal with me and that I licked her tattoo” They then told this story to my father who had called the location to discuss the outstanding payment for the month of June11th-July 11th. He messaged me saying UHAUL had video footage of me licking a staff members tattoo. And accused me of being an alcoholic and drug addict. My father is a master manipulator and has been making multiple attempts at sabotaging me since my mother passed. I had cleaned the locker out and made a promise to pay over the phone. This was accepted. Until I got a text message from my father who told me that management no longer wanted to “deal with me” When I called to inquire I was told by Fatima that STELLA of all people had made these accusations against me and I found it extremely hurtful and confusing as to why someone who made me feel comfortable, heard and understood, and also made reference to her own personal business in front of me, would ever have something bad to say about me. I was was nothing but friendly with all staff anytime I was there and was under the impression my experience was positive over all. Until I was told by Fatima that after my father had called there I was no longer allowed on the premises and would be charged with trespassing if i ever came back I requested the video footage but was denied. I also requested an in person meeting with the manager and the employee who made the accusations. Which they also refused. I then let Fatima the manager know that my encounter with Stella was indeed very strange after all as she was super friendly AT THE TIME even mentioning in front of me that she was very happy as she just received a text message that she had sold all of her percosettes. Then later upon my move had completely changed her tune. I find this over all to be an extremely unprofessional location. The way the matter was handled is hurtful and appalling.

They then tried to move us to two other units but both were even in worse condition - one the handle ripped off and left a hole, the other the door was jammed. They eventually got our unit open and working. Didn't inspire our confidence. 2) The area where the outdoor units are is "u" shaped, however the south entrance/exit was often blocked. With the bottom of the u being used for parking it made it hard to turn around to get out. Both north and south ways into/out of the storage area should be kept clear if trucks, trailers etc. 3) Staff was always friendly and helpful

Without a parking spot, I didn't have access to my storage locker and had to return at another time which was inconvenient for me.

(check your cameras) We received threatening emails we owed money, from this Fatima women, who also called our daughter, breached our Confidential personal information, defaming us & insisting it was “fishy” (in her jargon)! Good thing....this phone conversation was Recorded. This woman, Fatima was very unprofessional & rude! This woman needs to be REPRIMANDED or you will lose customers. We will be pursuing this further with our Attorney & have contacted The Canadian Consumer Protection Act! Never ever we will utilize this business again & will be informing others of this type of corrupt service‼️

When I arrived they didn't have the size storage I reserved so they gave me a bigger one at the same price. Then a month later they called and said I had to move my things to a different unit or I would have to pay more. I live out of town so I couldn't do that and it was COVID The manager insisted that it be moved so we did. Then they tried to charge me more that the price I was quoted every month. I could never get someone to call me back to discuss it. I would never use a Uhaul storage again.
