Clean facility and great service
Robert R | Overall ExperienceThe fuel light was on and they knew the truck was on E. They told me I needed to leave and go get gas. They quoted me a rate and said not to exceed 100 miles or the rate would increase. I returned it with 3/4 of a tank and only drove 93 miles. The rate was changed on me so my cost went up. Terrible experience.

Additionally, the Grupo RH moving were great !! Mr. Orlando and Jr, we’re very professional, efficient and careful with our items. Amelia was meticulous and detail oriented and made sure the move went according to plan. Very cost efficient and professional.

I equate some U-Haul locations as a third world extremely deprived country. There should be lot size mandatory requirements every location should meet for safety of your customers…should you care that is.

ROBERT SLocation is very inconvenient. Also we were originally scheduled to drop off at the location at 3524 US 1 in St. Augustine which is much closer than this one. Then we were told at the last minute to drop off here Would take about 20 minutes to drive to the one in St. Augustine. Instead it took us about an hour to get to this one and an hour back. Uhaul should reimburse us for the extra time and gas. Very inconvenient.

CHRISTOPHER JSkylar was great getting me on the road and Bailey was right on getting me checked in and disconnected. Skylar resolved a hitch issue quick with skill and excellent service. After the other store was closed this store was great, the online help on the phone got me to a dealer that was open in two minutes. Thank you your customer service was amazing.

THOMAS L | Overall ExperienceI am single senior living on a tight budget. For Uhaul to place a hold on twice as funds as my actual cost is a very unfair policy. I used my debit card to move this furniture to storage, and I incur fees on the Uhaul mileage debit as well as the filling the tank with gas charge and even the lunch I purchased. My initial charge was 95.77 and your company held $170.77 of my funds. I'm sure I will end up incurring $90 of fees for this unfair practice. I will use a credit card next time

kristine pArriving at this location, there was a sign to stay with vehicle and someone would come to me to help check it in. No one came, ended up taking the advice of another customer, and went in to the counter. A young man looked at me and said, are you dropping off? I replied yes. He then said, give me your keys and we will email you a receipt. I handed him my keys and left. Later that everning after not receiving an email, I contacted the location. A young man was helpful and got me my receipt.

ARTHUR BThe only thing i wasn't happy with was when we were done with the initial paperwork, the agent gave me the keys and said, " here's the key, your truck is out there somewhere near the front by the road, just find the number on the truck that matches the key??" There were dozens of trucks and nobody accompanied me. I would have the truck already parked in a spot "reserved for pickup" near the office and how easy would it be to say, "there's your truck right out front, I'll come out in case you have any questions." The facility is brand new and the staff was friendly overall. Would recommend.

James KThere is a huge hole in the truck area that should be repaired so a non expert driver doesn’t hit it. Also I’m pretty furious about the amount of damage to my property from the movers I hired through uhaul.

BRYAN LI feel like the mobile app needs some work. The approval process is too tedious and takes too long. I eventually had to go inside and talk to a human to check in and check out. The app also wanted to charge me for gas even though I brought the truck back with more than when I left! I had to get one of the employees to verify that the charge was bogus. The people at the location were great - The mobile check in and out were not, and wouldn't be at any location.

Kelly LI'd prefer to have the truck, and the ordered dollies and pads, ready at the time of my appointment so I wouldnt need to go find the truck, then drive across the lot to load the dollies and blankets. I'd like my actual expected return day and time to be 24 hours after my actual pickup time.

GLENN HThis facility is brand new and very nice. They offered me an extra day at no additional charge and that was nice. The 15ft moving truck was clean and drove somewhat ok (a lot of play in steering). However, it had a leak in the Mom's attic portion of the truck and it soaked a lot of my items from the heavy rainfall we had in St Augustine, FL right before I left. I haven't received any credit for the issue and probably won't, though I think b/c of the inconvenience, there should be a little discount, b/c this is a part of their maintenance as well. Fortunately, going back to my storage in GA 2 days later, the items did dry fairly well, but some of the packaging were altered considerably & will have to be thrown away.
