STEVEN CThe technician who installed the hitch did an excellent job. He was timely, reviewed things with me and kept the wait time to a reasonable amount. Reviewed and explained afterwards as well, including the safety bar that was removed and replaced with the hitch. Thanks.

BOB AThe trailer front jack needs maintenance or replacement because it was very difficult to crank. It made for hitching and unhitching very difficult and time consuming.

ALFREDO REverything is great, and you’re the best as always, but it’s time to install backup cameras on all the trucks.
DENIS TThe manager, Steve, as well his team member, Unik, have very customer service oriented skills ... they made sure that the customer is given all information needed for the truck rental; they were both technically-equipped that they even went beyond my expectation!
BASILISO AThe equipment i had ( tow dolly ) was VERY POOR SERVICED !!! I lost almost 2 hrs to strep and unstrap . Everything was rusted . I did complain when return the equipment. Will never rent dolly from uhaul again. Thank you.
TOMASZ MI asked for assistance with the straps that secure the car to the tow dolly. The straps were not installed properly and one strap came off completely during the tow. Fortunately we made it to our destination safely. The instructions for the use of the straps printed on the dolly are inadequate as well. The dolly itself featured a broken chain which also only came to my attention while correcting the straps. If the car had come off the dolly and caused a multi-car pile up and deaths or severe injuries, U-Haul would not possibly avoid liability.
JOHN AThe Uhaul "system" was down and my order could not be competed (morning of 3/26/25). Super frustrating. I put that i needed the truck for 7 hours (3/26) yet I got a call from customer service after 4 hours asking if I need more time and that fees might apply for coming back late.....clunky process overall.
Scott Wthe girl at the front desk was so rude. i have never rented a u-haul and had no idea how to even find my rental. she says go to the left. turns out my rental was to the right!!!' after walking around in circles i finally was directed by the man who also worked there who was very nice. anyway it was a stressful experience and had me in tears will never come back here

EMMANUEL OThe Uhaul truck had a leak from the rain dripping through the roof. I had some floor that I was transporting- brand new and got water damage on it. How are these trucks meant to transport furniture and materials when water seeps right through the roof onto whatever you’re transporting?!

FRANK CI have rented a few times at this Niles U-Haul location. Everyone has always been very nice and attentive. In and out on my way pretty quick.

GEORGE GWhen I was a CSR for U-Haul, things were different - better. We were trained to go over the equipment and verify that all of the equipment was on board. We didn't make the customer load furniture dollies, etc.
STEVEN CThe staff were very friendly and helpful, and I think the U-Haul storge units were very well maintained. However, if it were not for the free month I was offered for the unit and the fact that I only need the unit for 2 months, I believe that some of the other local storage units would be better choices for various reasons for long term storage.

MUHAMMAD RI was delayed for 45 minutes while the representative tried to arrange a replacement vehicle for me, since the one assigned to me had a door that did not latch properly. Also, the replacement vehicle had ice buildup on the windshield, which a rep eventually tried to scrape, but did not remove all of it. I had to wait at the facility, engine running and defroster on full blast for quite some time until enough ice melted so that I had enough visibility to drive safely. Finally, the lot was so crowded with vehicles that it was difficult to exit the facility and be on my way. On the bright side, drop-off was swift and efficient.

IRWIN PAssociate charged me for insurance even though I declined. He was unable to reverse the charge and the associate that checked me out stated that she couldn't reverse the charge and instructed me to call customer service. Then customer service said that they couldn't reverse the charge and that the General Manager of the location had to resolve it. Very frustrating and inconvenient with all the time spent attempting to resolve the issue.

Raising the door open with my hand resulted in a serious injury. The ends of my fingers were smashed as the door reached the top of its travel.. stops should be installed on all the doors to prevent this from happening to others. Thanks

We were in the end storage unit and you didn't know if anyone was around the corner as it was a dead-end and someone could have been hiding there. I did see the cameras, but I feel a large mirror at the end could show if anyone was hiding around the corner. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and we will be using your service again.
