KEVIN WEasy group to work with and very accommodating, but I think it’s wrong that you U-Haul charge according to demand at the time …. I originally rented the same size in August for $82.00 and then 6 weeks later it’s $150 because you are just taking advantage of others …. This is no different than people getting stranded at an airport and hotels increase the pricing by 3x’s or more because it’s now in demand…. Scammers!

CHRISTOPHER SWarm, friendly service. The gentleman at the front desk even came out to assist with pulling the truck out of the parking spot. I have been renting from this location for years and years and years, and NEVER a problem. Great, convenient location too!

RICK ZSteve runs an excellent operation. He is always hustling and helpful. He makes certain that his crew is attentive and servicing their customers properly. I rent all my trailers there and have been for years. You better hold on to Steve. You would have a very hard time trying to find someone with his work ethic to replace him.
GLENN SEasy transactions, the truck was clean and worked as expected, drove it for 60 milers with no problems at all.
ALEJANDRO QOnly concern was that after driving the truck about 5 miles, the engine light went on . I reported the engine light to the counter person. No issues with the vehicle however.

Julie DI am ok with this location. The way in which I ended up here is another story. I reserved at an unattended location using mobile app. When I got there I discovered that my van was blocked by another u-haul truck. What a mess.

DAVID JI rented a trailer from you for two days, it cost \$100. I misplaced the trailer and left it at a different address, which would have resulted in a \$20 fee. In total, I paid \$120, but unfortunately, I was charged \$300. I believe this is unfair.

MICHAEL LTrucks are packed in like sardines and needed several people to guide me out. Would be better is U-Haul brought the truck out. Truck was on 1/4 tank which was annoying to have to refill. You should know that the confirmation email had me go to a completely different place in Niles. I can prove it in the email. This was a major inconvenience to go to another place.

OSCAR RWindow was extremely dirty and unable to clean substance very hard. Truck had hard time shifting into gear from steering wheel not transmission.
GARRY AThe trailer was clean, but three of the ten lug nuts were finger loose, and one of those was visibly not tight against the wheel. Had I not noticed this and retorqued the lugs it could have been a very bad 1700mi road trip with my stuff. I no longer trust that UHaul equipment is well maintained.
THOMAS MNot very often have we've ever had a bad experience, and I would not say this is one. However, I was in a time crunch and the vehicle review never was sent to my text messaging or at least it never showed in my phone so I couldn't list the issues with the truck . But they were not major issues. The sun visors were broken and kept falling in view so i had to use rubber bands to mount them. Also the gas cap was damaged and extremely hard to remove for fill up. Outside of those issues with the vehicle it was a great experience as usual.
ANDRE EI was forced to pay for an adapter because the trailer was not equipped for the plug on my vehicle. Nor would they let me return said item.
RUBEN TOnce you tackle the Registration to Login IN, I found the U Haul site easy to use and book your choice of moving vehicle. This is my second time at this location during September. Everyone is chill, customer friendly very helpful without asking to lift boxes or trolley into truck. Check out simple-drive either by phone App or walk into store. Plenty of supplies on hand that can be pick-up at check out. I use 2 of the easy pack crates that you can keep and use for a week, even if you don't need the vehicle. Those crates are orange and gray and perfect for large, delicate items, or possible messy items.

MAZEN YOne of the marker lights on the trailer was not working. I think it may have been the same trailer that I rented the previous month - the rear marker was not working on that trailer also. (Maybe a problem with electrical circuit ground?) This location has not had furniture dollies available for at least two months.

ENRIQUE VEverything was broken in the 10ft box truck. Both the driver and passenger doors would open while driving 30-60mph. The sun-blocking panels would drop down, It was extremely dangerous when driving, it would pop or drop blocking the drivers windshield, this would happen every couple of minutes. When I addressed the concern to the U-Haul representative, they discounted the gas. Honestly I don’t think I should have paid as much as I have paid for a dangerous truck. Very disappointing.

HAO PI want to say a big thank you to all the staff working this weekend at Morton Grove, Il U-Haul. The weekend was stressful for me as I was moving a lot of household items and dealing with family members in the move. The staff was so pleasant, patient, helpful and no complaints about any requests or changes. It couldn't have been easier. The location has plenty of moving supplies on hand and ready to go if you need boxes, hitches and whatever else you can need.

DEWI NEvery part of using the UBox for this move from New Haven, CT to Chicago was super smooth and even pleasant, which is not something I thought I'd be saying about a move that required me to store things for a while in the middle of it. Everyone I interacted with was helpful and knowledgeable--will definitely use again if I ever need it!

THOMAS KThis was a very poor experience. I was recommended 2 boxes and needed 3. I had to leave a lot of things. My things came in extremely late. My initial date was 8.2. My things didn't come until 8.15. I had to call almost every day and was on hold for hours at a time just to be passed to another department that couldn't help. I had to cancel moving helpers and keep rescheduling and was charged more for changing moving helpers due to Uhaul being delayed with my shipment. There was a point where Uhaul couldn't even tell me where my things were. This ended costing more in lodging, food, and getting basic furniture in my place in the interim. This was a very poor moving experience.

The 4x8x5 unit door was too small for a queen mattress to fit through, even though the website stated that it would. We had already unloaded most of the trailer into the building, so had to move everything to another area of the building to a unit with a larger door. We were given 3 different locker numbers in the office, and all had locks on them, that the previous renters had left. Finally, found a locker that was open. Even though the process was frustrating...the staff was very apologetic, and helpful. Would recommend staff goes through all units to remove locks from empty units.

We were in the end storage unit and you didn't know if anyone was around the corner as it was a dead-end and someone could have been hiding there. I did see the cameras, but I feel a large mirror at the end could show if anyone was hiding around the corner. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and we will be using your service again.
