The female associate (I unfortunately cannot recall her name) who assisted me obtaining the rental equipment was incredibly helpful and kind, made the experience much better overall. She is a wonderful employee and am grateful for how helpful she was during my experience.

MARK DPoor customer service, especially if you aren't even supposed to be interacting with anyone, since you did everything on line...including the check in. They were behind and you pay with your time and rude treatment.
YVETTE MIf a person does everything on line, then they shouldn't have to still check in with rude workers, because the workers didn't have the van in the correct area. Acknowledge your fault and don't make the customer wait longer than they have to. The convenience of doing everything on the phone becomes void and the process is now annoying.
YVETTE MWhen I returned the vehicle and gave the attendant in the parking lot the keys, he sat in the drivers seat like a zombie. I wanted to get a receipt and he completely ignored me until another attendant came over to me and said you’re fine. That was a mistake because he marked the fuel left in the tank as 1/2 full when it was actually 3/4 full. That ‘s the first problem. I never received a receipt explaining why the total bill was $172 not $88 as estimated. Repeated attempts at requesting a call back has been ignored. Total bullshit.

Michael SThe truck was quite worn and abused for just 131k miles. Driver side window busted halfway down on day 4 during a rain storm, leaving the cabin and drivers seat soaked. The cargo area leaked over the cab, which soaked half of the moving blankets. Vehicle otherwise drove fine but not an enjoyable experience. Also nearly no safety features like rear view cameras or beeping.

Carlton FI was told on the paperwork that the truck had 1/4 tank of gas. When I started the truck it was on empty. You lied to me from the beginning, so I lost money from having to fill the tank as soon as I picked up the truck. I would never recommend anyone do business with this location. I didn’t complain because what’s the point . It’s not like you’re gonna give me gas money .

Karen OOn the tow dolly, the ratcheting tie down mechanism for securing the vehicle's front tires could use some attention / lubrication. Removing the tire tie downs at our destination was a two person job, with me holding both parts of the ratcheting mechanism in the released position while someone else pulled on the strap. Normally with ratcheting tie downs, only one side of the handle needs to be held in the released position, allowing the strap to be pulled out with the other hand. But the ratcheting mechanism on this tow dolly would not with that way. The two parts of the mechanism kept sticking together, and that was on both sides of the dolly.

DARLEAN M | First ImpressionsI had great and friendly service from this location (props to Marlo, who helped me change from a local rental to a more convenient one-way rental). Two issues, one minor, one more significant: I was shorted one blanket out of the 24 I rented. The issue wasn't that I needed one more, I just didn't want to get charged upon my return. Fortunately, it ultimately wasn't an issue. The bigger problem is that when we selected the return location, I wasn't told that scheduling might change the location on me. I got a text after the regular scheduling department had closed that my return location had been changed to one that was 7 miles away. I had planned to walk back to my move destination from the original drop off location. After a frustrating conversation with the 24 hour crew (they kept suggesting locations even further away), I finally got them to agree to one that was a short subway ride back. Grrrr. Whether this was the rental pick up location's error in not prepping me for this change, or something they weren't aware of, I don't know. But it's inconceivable in 2025 that the logistics of a return location cannot be guaranteed at the time of pick up. WAKE UP UHAUL!!

BRANDON LI’m concerned that I’ve been charged for a missing utility dolly that was never provided. This oversight made the experience frustrating, and I believe future customers could benefit from better attention to detail when it comes to confirming the availability of equipment before charging for it. Ensuring that all requested items are actually provided or clarifying when something is unavailable would go a long way in improving the overall experience. A more proactive approach in resolving these kinds of issues would certainly help avoid confusion and dissatisfaction in the future.

I had 72 hours to move it during Thanksgiving day holiday. There was no lights in the area the hours was changed for the holiday and there was no employees area for any kind of help. I got a call about beds left in the unit , no one was there for me to rent a truck from at that time. But was told they will charge it to my sons account, that isn't his agreement with them. I am homeless so everything I owned was in that storage. I am now starting over from basically nothing.
