MOISES Mbe nice to get a truck with more than 1/16 full gas in the tank. You are causing likely a new truck driver to go straight to a gas station to fill up. I wonder what the data says. be nice to let a driver getting used to the truck on the open road before pulling in to a gas station. also just annoying. otherwise service was great and good process.

VICTOR SThis location is great. But the Saticoy/White Oak failed me. Reserved a motorcycle trailer for Monday, and they didn't show up. Had to go to Parthenia. Lost some time. Won't ever use or recommend Saticoy/White Oak.

EDWARD RYou told me it would be a help if I returned it to a different location from where I rented it. So I did so and my wife drove me all the way back to the original location to get my car. I went out of my way to return it to a different location to help you out. You did promise a $50 discount on the rental for doing this. And you didn’t apply it to the total.

Colin Lthe 5X8 enclosed trailers that have the door ramp already incorporated (easy lift) absolutely SUCKS...! It's a horrible piece of equipment, it's difficult to haul equipment into trailer with dollies because of the thickness of ramp at the bottom. Furthermore, it has a big opening right before the inside of the box trailer; another challenge to move equipment that have wheels or the use of the dollies. Get rid of them....... But staff is helpful...no complains there.
Janine GStaff was very helpful and the cargo van was new and clean. My only complaint about the location is the visibility and the traffic when exiting the facility.
ALLEN WThe truck was clean, the issue we ran into was that the battery was dead. It held us up by two hours since we had to wait for roadside to come. I called and was told since I was inconvenienced that I can return the truck to the Northridge location without having to pay for the return trip and I was still charged. The original contract called for me to return to Sylmar for a total of $70 dollars instead of roundtrip to Northridge for 193.00.
ROBERT RWay to expensive an extra day was 100 dollars more when we only had it for 5 hours longer than expected. Absolutely disgusted.

Oscar CThe van was given to me with only an 1/8 of a tank of gas; no big deal I thought; I’ll get some. The pump automatically shut off every three seconds and when I called they said “oh it has an air leak so it shuts off” and there was nothing to be done about it. The service staff was very nice and helpful at check in and check out, but take the busted van out of service and don’t knowingly rent it out to people; it’s cheap and poor service.

Jon LIt was the worst experience, hitch manager very rude and not willing to help at all. When he finally helped us, because we insisted, he was sooo rude. I've never experience something like that. It was an easy fix, and he was not willing to do it.

RICARDO CEverything was clean, but the truck was slow to shift gears. It took 1.8 gallons to refill for only 10 miles. The estimated mog of the truck is 12 mpg, so a gallon should have gotten it back to the right level. The shifting didn't change with the tow button on or off, so it may have been stuck in the tow mode.

I was in and out of there less than 15 min. Highly recommend this facility for any rental needs.

This is very unprofessional and I’ve been waiting days for a reply. I was unable to access my 2 units after hours and it was very inconvenient. I had to spend time the next day moving my belongings when the manager simply needed to reply to my text. There is a sign outside the facility with his cell on it for after hours support. It’s meaningless if no one responds. I texted him I waited 15 minutes for a reply, and I’m still waiting! This level of apathy is unsettling. I’m very disappointed.

Employees have no idea what they are doing and when you bring up your concerns with Juan, the manager if you can even reach him, he doesn’t acknowledge you or do anything about it. Extremely unprofessional l, unresponsive, messes up reservations, the list goes on. On top of that doors were broken for 5+ months so transient people were walking in and out of the facility making it feel very unsafe. Do yourself a favor and rent at Extrage Sorage or literally anywhere else but this location.

Especially the trailer hitches, that are low to the ground and hard to see, even when you don't have any boxes in the car. If your now good at backing up you risk an accident. Moving with them is good. Just don't use them for storage.

I had clothes put away in secure bags and those bugs chewed right through them and ate into expensive clothes. The cleaning lady always speaks rudely about customers infront of customers, she thinks just because she says it in spanish that no one will understand her, well we did and we told her to stop as it was rude af. Im sorry we are putting our things for donation for other families to use and you dont want to do your job. The "owner" Juan was rude to my husband stating they dont offer military rates (for trailers) & spoke condesendingly to him on memorial day. Only to be shown on their very website that there is in fact military rates. There has been times we needed something from storage around 8pm and their system was fully down. Manager was called and nothing ever came about. Overall, we decided to move out fully cause alot of my items were damaged by these bugs they have in their unit. Only the lady who works in the office (blonde) she was cool, I liked her.

Its clear that the security system is not enough of a deterrent to prevent thief or setup in such a way as to catch thieves. In this case it appears it was another tenant on the same floor breaking into other units with impunity. There needs to be cameras on every hall and not just the perimeter and there needs to be motion sensors that set off an alarm if there is movement in the building after hours.

I had to get out of my storage unit and was not able to get out in a timely manner because I had to constantly be asking them to. Reset their system. I was not able to ever access my storage unit before the office opened because the system was not working. I was told that a management knows that it's broke and that it's been broke for well over a month With no intentions of fixing it. I also spoke to a new customer and he had blocked the door so that he could get in-and-out and said that he was told after he paid. That the door and security systems were unreliable and didn't work.

The system was also down all day and they had to reset it a lot, therefore we were locked out and not able to get to our unit which made the move in process even longer. It was fine for me because i actually liked it more but i would had been mad if it had been the other way around.
MV P | First ImpressionsHad a storage unit there for two years, its pricey but worth it. The 24 hr access option as well as the security system made our stuff is easy to access ourselves but hard for others. The loading dock made my move in and move out of the unit a breeze, and I never once regretted choosing this great storage location. The only bad thing I have to say about this place is their corporate rules make some things harder than they need to be. Halfway through my 2 year rental period I lost my key to my unit. Instead of being able to bring a drill from my garage and open up my unit myself, they required me to call a locksmith, who proceeded to try to pick it open for 20 minutes and fail, only to do exactly what I would’ve done myself and drill out the cylinder. $275, to open my unit is absurd, especially when they install hitches at this location, and could’ve grabbed a drill from the shop and opened my unit for me. Absolutely ridiculous. Yes, maybe use a combination lock, it’s less secure, but the security system will protect your stuff more than your unit lock will anyways. I just didn’t do that because I had a habit of giving people my keys to go get something for me and didn’t want them to be able to memorize the code. But sometimes it’s not worth possibly losing the key and spending a months worth of the rental fees on opening up the unit. Other than that one hiccup though, my storage experience was great.

The only issue during that time was once when I found that water had seeped into the back of the unit. The manager was not as helpful as he could have been, simply telling me to record any damages so an insurance claim could be filed. Fortunately the damage I found was minor. However, facility management showed no interest in investigating the incident in order to prevent it from re-occurring.

I have had interactions with 7 staff members and they were all great. The storage space was dirty ( had previous items in it) and the staff took care of it immediately. The storage facilities have issues. The entrance to the space itself is too small. The space measurements are not accurate. Due to the way it's constructed it's not a full 5x10.

There's very little customer parking and often employees and customers who are not actively using the loading dock are parked in the spots in front of the loading dock. Personally once I have unloaded I move my car so that somebody else can unload while I'm inside the building. There should be some signage encouraging others to do the same.
