The only thing I have to say is that the odometer doesn't show tenths and the mileage had advanced 1 mile leaving the driveway of the rental yard, but the good people who you employ credited me the mile with no problems. I do feel that the speedometer wasn't accurate and it showed more miles than I actually put on the odometer, maybe your rentals need the calibration checked regularly.

When making a confirmation, the representative should make clear which pick-up location they are confirming. Also, ensure confirmation emails are sent in advance and not on the day and hour of the actual pick-up time.

I have used U-Haul over the last 35 years and never have I had such EXEPTIONAL service. The gentlemen were polite and welcoming, the BEST U-HAUL experience I've ever had. I first reserved this auto transport trailer at the Chatsworth facility after learning that the uHaul closest to me in Simi Valley did not have a transporter available. I called prior to arriving there to specifically ask if they had the silver transporter. The person taking my call assured me that yes they did have that model. I told her it was a 20 mile drive and was she sure, to which she said yes and my name was on it. We drove to Chatsworth and saw the only transporter on the lot had a flat tire. I ask the counter person if they were going to fix it and he said "I guess it's down for 24 hours". I asked why we couldn't fix it now especially after I drove 20 miles to get it and he said there was no way to fix it now and I should go to the Northridge store, another 6 miles away. I asked if I could return it here since this was where I made the reservation and he said no, it has to go back to Northridge. I then asked him to make a reservation for the Northridge store prior to me driving over there for no reason and he did. Upon arrival at the Northridge facility I was informed that they would NOT rent me the transporter because the vehicle I was going to move was too large. I told him that I went to the uHaul site prior to the reservation and the site said it was a good match. After prodding the counter agent entered the two vehicles and said, gee, I guess it will work! The agent then had me back up my truck to the trailer and asked me to inspect it for damage. I noticed that the trailer was missing the license plate. I told the counter help and he said "put it on the damage form". I repeated THE LICENSE PLATE IS MISSING, he said OK, put it on the form. I pointed out, isn't that illegal? He said as long as it's on the form you are good to go. We left the facility towing a trailer missing any form of registration. I returned the trailer the same day, Saturday, prior to closing. One of the yard workers disconnected the trailer and I went inside to process the paperwork. The counter person asked if everything worked OK and I said other then the missing license plate, yes. On Monday mid morning I get a message on my cell phone asking if I plan on returning the trailer. I called the Northridge number and get redirected to Corporate. I tell the agent I returned the trailer. She tells me she will note it and send the manager an instant message and have him call me right away. About an hour later I get an email from uHaul informing me they have added ANOTHER days charge on my credit card because I have not returned the trailer. Again I call Notrhridge and again I am redirected to Corporate. I tell the same story to the agent, telling her that whomever is looking for the trailer is probably looking for the license plate number of the trailer that is missing it's plate! She confirms that my records show that they were corrected to show I had returned the trailer on Saturday and she would once again send an instant message to Luis, th

The location that I had originally selected (17639 Sherman Way, Van Nuys, CA 91406) did not have the truck I had reserved at the time that I had reserved it. Well, actually, they had the truck but the person that had keys to the office was not there. I had made a reservation for pickup at 9 am and when I showed up at that time, there was a sign on the door saying that they weren't open till 9:30 am. So I left and came back at 9:30 am. When I arrived there was a helpful guy who informed me that the owner of the space was not there and probably wouldn't be there till after 11 am. I needed the truck at 9 am and the owner was down in LA making copies of keys for the office. I get that they were moving but make the copies on a different day or not when there is a reservation for a truck. It was absolutely terrible customer service. Luckily, the 800 number for U-Haul was very helpful. They gave me 50 bucks for the missed reservation which was good. I didn't get the truck till a little after 10 am by which time it had started raining. Overall the experience was pretty negative entirely due to the inability for the owner of the Sherman Way location to plan for reservations ahead of time.

I think you guys are doing great! The staff there is friendly and helpful....I have been there several occasions and it's been great, no issues whatsoever...Eugene was very helpful and patient specially after he hooked up my trailer and I kindly requested the other trailer with the ramp....he switched it with no fuzz....Please keep up the professionalism....Thank You. J
