We rented a 26' truck and 2 of the seat belts did not work so I couldn't have a navigator and we had to take another vehicle for the 2 people who were to help me load/unload. Seat belts are a safety issue and should be kept in working order. Also, I had scheduled the truck for this location, and was called at 8am saying I had to go to Chatsworth. I went to Chatsworth only to be told I had to go back to northridge because the truck came in. I should have been called when the truck came in. This made us over an hour late getting the truck and getting started.

Yesterday during the daytime around 5 PM I called the location and requested that when I drop the truck off after closing hours for an agent to call me the next day before they charge me to go over the charges. The agent over the phone stated if they see my notes they will call. I told the agent to please make sure someone calls me. I dropped the truck off for closing time, at six minutes before closing time and the agent was closing the ramp door and wouldn’t let me in the office, coming from one business owner, businesses should not close it’s doors and lock them until the exact closing time and should not turn the customer away who is outside it’s doors six minutes before closing time. This morning I got an email stating that they charge my credit card, sure enough nobody read the note that the agent placed on my account for them to call me and they just charged my credit card without discussing the charges as I requested. Very unprofessional, will not go back.

The website gave me a 9 am reservation at a place that was not open until 1130am. I called the customer service line and was hung up on while on hold, finally was referred to the Northridge location and they saved the day.

What started out as $29.99 per day wound up costing $165.00. Don't be fooled. They were going to charge me to use the hand truck that was is the truck box anyway. Better off shopping around. A total ripoff! #neveragain.

Too expensive. I paid $203 to use a pickup truck for 3 days. The rates for the vehicle itself are great. But, they absolutely kill you with the expensive mileage costs of $0.70/mile. If it was not so expensive for the mileage, it would have been a good deal at less than $70. I won't use Uhaul again for this. Uhaul needs to charge no more than $0.40/mile to make the rates affordable!!!!!!

I saw nothing that nothing that needed improving. Everything went smooth and I'm very happy! Great employees at this location. They all deserve a raise.

Upon checkout and reviewing the truck, prior to driving the truck off the lot. The attendant asked me to look at everything... I indicated that the fuel gauge was at 3/4 and he argued with me saying it showed 7/8 (which is what I signed for, at the front desk). In the end, he reluctantly said, "I'll let you have it, I'm not going to argue with you anymore...(insisting he was correct)" He proceeded to initial the documents, that I drove off the lot with "6/8 (or 3/4)" of a tank. I asked if I was responsible to bring the truck back at 7/8, despite the truck not being sufficiently fueled prior. He said, "No. whatever you drive off the lot with, is the amount you return it." Of course, upon returning the vehicle via overnight drop-off. The email receipt indicated I was charged an extra $20 on fuel charges, because the fuel gauge indicated 3/4 of a tank (and NOT 7/8). I am Not Happy with the experience!
