The staff communicate with one another because every time I came in and gave heads up I needed another day a female called with a negative attitude about my past time which is another da of payment but she could have @ least called b4 time just in case. I was homeless until last night so I was unable to get back there for my clean up fee refund and make sure I was charged the right amount because based on his recommendation the truck I had would hold my things even though I gave a description, but he assured me it would fit but no we had to make 4 trips so.....

The service was fast and friendly. It looked as though they had lots of options in stock (for trucks) but did not have the furniture dolly I reserved when I made the reservation a week before. As I was moving items by myself, this made things much more difficult.

I was assisted by Uhaul located at 6141 Lancaster Ave. Philadelphia, Pa 19151. The customer service there was amazing, I would’ve tipped the two great young ladies that helped me while I was there. Great experience and very easy, I would’ve tipped go there again.

I ordered a 20 feet at havertown location 2 days before 1/19/2025 1:30 pm pick up. 2 hours before pick up uhaul text me that I need to pick up from the overbrook location which is 12 more minutes away. There are no 15 or 20 feet available at the havertown location which is 5 minutes away from my home. Also tge overbrook location don't allow customer to park in their parking lot. Customer has to park on the street. Havertown location allow customer to park.in their parking lot and pick the vehicle uo the same day. So I spend an extra 20 dollars for uber and have to worry about park my car on the street.There is no apology! I will think about to rent from uHaul again after use them for so many years. No.point to get reservation from them!

They over charged for fuel when I picked up the truck it had 1/4 fuel in it when I bought it back it had a little more than 1/4 fuel they claimed it had 1/2 and charged me 35$ for fuel

This last weekend (Labor Day) there was a complete shortage of the large flat container carriers to move things in and out: none was available in the building until another renter emptied the one he was using and passed it on. This was quite unusual and I assume is due to the heavy truck rental business this weekend. One of those carriers had a dresser sitting on it by the front door both days I visited, which seems odd you would tolerate that. Normally there are several empty ones at both doors. Otherwise AOK the whole time, though I would have liked a more detailed letter indicating I'd ended the rental, which evidently went through. As I headed to the office I notified a maintenance employee I was ending the rental and he said he'd handle it, which seems to be true: He went to check the unit out as I drove off. I suspect all this is due to a very busy weekend for you all. I had a slight problem earlier this year when I tried to move to a smaller unit to save money. It turns out it was larger, but your staff fixed it and set me up with the one I already had and hadn't vacated yet. This is a really convenient location very near our house and using it was always easy, though I had stuff too near the door and had to get help to manage opening the pull-down door. It's very well laid out and easy to use. And I felt it was safe both when I was there and when I was not. Obviously good security at all levels. And not too busy most of the time, though I think there were very few empty spots this spring. Its was great to simply punch in a code to get access and avoid the card, though I did not always remember to sign out when I left, which never made a problem for me, thank goodness. It took a few times to figure out the two devices by the door, but it makes perfect sense.

Storage Facility appeared to have mice which led to damages to my property as well as droppings found throughout the unit. In addition there were damages to the lock assembly which took the staff some time to address.

The staff at the Uhaul on 61st and Lancaster Ave are very courteous, service oriented, and kind. They go out of their way to maintain a great customer service attitude even with difficult customers. They are very patient, accommodating, assuring that your items are safe. They take very good, great care of the facility and I cannot stress enough that they how their customer service and care is always on point no matter how they are feeling or may be going through. Thank you to them for their time and efforts old and new employees.

Some of the staff had no knowledge of the the polices and procedures. I checked out on the 7/19 two days before my next payment. The staff neglected to enter the information on the system and charged for another month. And had the nerve to assume I was still in the unit. Horrible still waiting for my refund! Staff needs re training

All of my items in my storage was damaged due to the ceiling falling in rodents all over the place. My entire unit was damaged. EVERYTHING! and the company you use for insurance purposes has not gotten back with me. I am in the process of getting a lawyer to sue Uhaul since you didn’t find the honor in handling the situation correctly.

Absolutely outstanding experience the lady that helped me was very knowledgeable and kind. My online account had an issue and she was able to solve it booked my storage. She thoroughly and clearly explained all policies and benefits. The guy at the shop offered us help in case we needed any to unload. They absolutely went above and beyond excellent service. They are a true asset for this company. Unfortunately I don’t remember the names at the moment im writing this review. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Had a minor inconvenience due to booking through the customer service number. The staff apologized and notified me of other options to assist. Kathy and Nagel were very patient and explained parts of the contract that I didn’t understand. Every staff member made sure to greet every customer warmly upon entry. They were all very helpful.

I would hope the next time I go to reserve a unit two days before I move in they will make sure the unit isn’t occupied before having me pay for it. Come move in day they had me waiting two hours for someone to look into why the unit I paid for was already occupied! …only for them to charge me full price for two units that are filled with mouse poop no less. Nothing I could do about it because I had professional movers helping me and I was paying by the hour ! I could not turn around or go to another unduly because no uhaul had the space I needed !!! Can’t take my stuff back at this point because I had to move out !! Had to pay double the cost for my movers BTW!!! At the end I could not fit my things inside the units and had to leave things out because there was not enough space in the units provided because I requested a bigger unit !!!! I paid for a 10/10 but I was then given a 5/8 and a 5/10 unit ….barely enough space !!! I was then told that I was going to be charged for both units but one month free ? Even though the promotion is for a month free!! So he basically didn’t even try to make up for lost money and time! I arrived at U-haul at 8 am and did not officially leave until 2 pm because it took 2 -3 hours to be assisted ! Only to have then adding insult to injury charge me for having the truck for two days!!! I had the truck one day for extended amount of hour due to an issue that was theirs to assist with!! I received no apology and no real accommodation and the units at this location are filled with MICE! I need someone to get back with me ASAP regarding this Issue.

Great storage space in Round Rock, specially since I now have my things in another Uhaul storage in another state, I can say that the one in Round Rock is awesome and a lot cleaner! Not all Uhaul storage spaces are created equal, as I just found out, but this one is great!

I want to particularly point out the professionalism and patience from Frank. He is amazing at what he does and the kindness person I have met. He is smart, efficient, compassionate and a total asset to your company. I do believe uhual should hire security for his location as well as others because online uhual promises or messes up something with a move and people are mad they take it out on him and he doesn’t deserve it. I drove and moved from New York to Philly and didn’t have a unit ready for me but he kept his composure and figured out how to deescalate the situation with some other agitated customers that weren’t so understanding and he deals with this daily. I don’t know how far this review will go but I just felt the need to say something about Frank! Give him a raise!

I had to sweep up lots of mouse & rat droppings from my storage units.. It was all over and in my belongings. I had to wipe my belongings off and check for droppings and live rodents before putting my items in my car. U keep raising the price for "maintenance " but this is unacceptable and customers should be made aware of the rodent problem.

When I moved my furniture to your facility from Florida there was nothing wrong with my mattresses. I placed my items in the storage in December and not one time did I come back to enter the unit until Sunday 4/5/20 to remove my furniture and close out my storage account. Sunday night I’m getting bit by bedbugs. Your units have bedbugs and I will be calling to speak to a Manager in regards to this situation. If my things became affected from renting one of your units, I wonder who else unit is being affected. Unfortunately, I will not be recommending that facility to anyone I know.

the entry from Lancaster Ave is quite a dip. our car scraped its undercarriage several times until we learned to come in at an angle. Sometimes the entrance was hard to see because ofso many trucks
