I could be wrong but that is close. They also have the cleanest restroom. You will not be disappointed!!!

CLAUDIA A | Overall ExperienceI got nothing but trouble from the manager of the Pasadena location trying to finally get my things. One answer one day, new problems the next. One day I hear they can't cut off the lock they installed. Another day they can for 50.00 but not til the manager returns on Monday. It was just a nightmare. There is a course that's administered to many people in managerial positions. I believe you would do well to put this lady through it. It's based on the works of Dale Carnegie and helps people understand the importance of customer relations and how best to conduct themselves when dealing with customers. Then again, maybe she just wasn't cut out for her position. At any rate, education and follow up or replacement would be my recommendation. I'm so glad U Haul won't be in my future. And there was no talking to this lady... I tried unsuccessfully to resolve my disputes with her. Thankfully I spoke to some reasonable and helpful people at customer service who solved the problems she presented me with. Best wishes

marlen r | First ImpressionsAfter renting twice from this location, I will not return. The trucks are lean on the outside and barely wiped down on the inside. The cup holders were nasty and sticky. After comparing prices, it’s cheaper to use Enterprise truck rental.

EDDIE FThese ladies and their employees are very pro active and get your rental established, hooked up and on the road. And it was the same when I returned my trailer. Also the App is very helpful to get the ball rolling even before you get there. Granted - this was a mid week rental and not as busy as a end of the month weekend, but I bet they have an attitude of focused service even at the busiest times.
DALE LExplain how 6 hours of rental equals 24 hours of rental. I was told to return the truck back within 6 hours or be charged more money. Please explain this to me.

JESSIE KChecking in was good, staff was friendly and quick to help. Unfortunately when I got the truck I noticed that the tank was under a quarter of a tank (I was told it was at a quarter of a tank). Secondly the back of the U-Haul was FILTHY, the cloth furniture protectors were unfolded and looked used. Lastly, every time I rent from U-Haul the dolly was already opened and also was very dirty. Besides that, staff was EXCELLENT and very friendly.
LUIS GI accidentally made the reservation at a DIFFERENT location. The manager Laura was on duty, and she said "no problem"! She changed the reservation to this location. She was very pleasant and helpful. She hooked up the trailer, double checked the hitch and checked the wiring hook ups to insure everything was working correctly. I was very impressed and knew that I was driving a safe trailer. I was able to get my office equipment moved and the trailer returned all on time. I will definitely be back when I need to rent in the near future since I am also going to be moving my home.

Met her before @ a planned rental which I cancelled in OctoberThis time 2 mos later she was in a meeting.The employee present set me up to go to another location( an auto shop that also rented U-haul equipment) a day later & did not open until 10:00 a.m. I could not sleep(literally) with that decision so I woke early the next day & met Laura Smith as she was opening shop. I told her the plan the other employee had for me. She pulled me up on the computer & said hmm... we have the truck & dolly here, soon I was set for the rental here not miles away @ 10 a.m. Believe me Laura Smith was the difference.Yhank you, John Echols

Then they told me it was at 2703 N main in Baytown tx I get there then I was told it wasn’t there I was told the wrong information. The lady had to get with someone to find out where i could go to get the truck that was supposed to be shipped to 565 Baytown tx well it wasn’t off of red bluff Pasadena tx which was 40 min drive and I was charged for all this I am very upset I would like something to be done about this

They also rented me a storage unit that was already with somebody else’s lock on Your employees never answered the phone whenever I was trying to call them for over three hours and when they did decide to answer the phone they had added to when I asked for a refund your manager still had a bigger attitude, rolling her eyes at me over and over And telling me over and over whatever.

I had to drive all the way back with a full load because I could not get access nor could I get the manager Laura Pack to EVER return my calls. The door to which you would enter would not close properly and lock after hours, many times propped upon with a large brick. I made the office aware of this and was told we have cameras onsite. That doesn’t help anyone that gets assaulted because UHaul does not maintain the property. I will NEVER use UHaul again nor will I recommend to anyone.

When it came time for me to move out of the unit I realized that I had lost my key to the lock. I asked the staff if they can break the lock for me and they told me that it would be considered "breaking and entering". Wait, what?!?! was my response. Although its MY UNIT and I'm asking you to break the lock. They still said no and was advised to get a locksmith to break the lock or get them to pick the lock (which is not cheap). I then asked what if i break it myself, they said i would be evicted from the storage unit. News flash....I no longer need the unit anyway.

I had to call an hour after they were suspose to be there. He gave an excuse of they went to another location. After 2 1/2 hrs two guys show up with no equipment to unload furniture. I was able to sign out two dollies from uhaul. For the guys to work with. The two guys were good it wasn’t their fault they were just following What company Told them to do. I will not ever use them again and I arranged it thru u-haul. You need to look into them due to they aren’t what you advertised.

Now as far as renting a truck and or a trailer from U-Haul I will never again use them. teresa M | First ImpressionsStaff was friendly and helpful most of the time, except on 10/22/22. My items were missing from my unit and I suspect staff mistakenly vacated my unit. The other possibility is that my items were really stolen from my unit. A burglary report has been filed with Pasadena PD. The desk attendant copied down the case number. When I went to my unit, there was a green tag on it that said “customer ready” even though I had not moved out. They also left a voice message asking me if I had moved out. I called back to say “no” but my call was not answered. I was also told my unit was found without a lock and that they placed a lock on the unit. This is where the story gets conflicting: If staff placed a lock on my unit while the futon and bed frame were in there, then what happened to my items? They confirmed that they locked it while the items were still present. Based on the notes, there was a futon in the unit on 10/12/22. My unit was upstairs and my items were big and bulky and difficult to move. Did they think that because there were only 2 items in there that I had moved out? There was a futon and a twin size bed frame in the unit. I asked to press charges on whoever took my items. Police officers did confirm that I was current on my payment and staff confirmed my items were not removed due to delinquency. So, either staff mistakenly vacated my items OR this facility is very, very unsafe and the cameras and card access into the facility housing my (upstairs, indoor) unit are not enough theft deterrents. Also, a lock had to be cut to get to the items or staff unlocked it because they had a key. I hope corporate investigates this matter.
Amey G | Overall Experiencedespite the five (5) Yes answers i would not recommend this u-haul storage facility here are my overall reasons in order 1) this facility has only one elevator for such a large single building my unit was on the 2nd floor when that elevator was out customers had to use the stairs to access their upper level units this is not a good design for such a huge single building routine maintenance on elevators was not announced via email phone calls or text messages i also understand u-hauls position that the elevators do break and sometimes are damaged by people holding the doors open by blocking the doors open however there was only one (1) elevator for a huge building with three floors this alone is my number one complaint 2) for the first few months there were always carts available soon afterwards carts were not available i understand some inconsiderate customers might store the carts in their units but why punish the good customers who pay on time return the carts to the first floor clean up after themselves etc by not providing enough carts for this single building - - example i came in on a weekday early in the morning and between three floors in that building did not find one single cart the questions this survey asks do not cover these kind of questions on the other hand - - the office staff were always helpful and cheerful 1) i dont know if she still works there but a woman name Shay (Shea) who handled my initial account was most helpful and had a wonderful smile and had a very cheery disposition 2) i dont know their names and my spanish is not too good but the cleaning and building maintenance people were always cheerful and happy - - if they were using a cart to transfer their cleaning supplies they always were considerate and offered to let me use them if i needed them 3) the price was locked in one of the reasons i quit using a public storage facility was that they kept upping the price unannounced to the customers thank you 1) for the security u-haul provided 2) the climate controlled building - always comfortable when it is extremely hot 3) the nearness of the facility to my home dave sheddrick

Very difficult hauling things up stairs by yourself then having to carry everything halfway down the building because there were no carts. If the sliding door closed before I could get things inside (remember no cart to load stuff on and take in at one time), I had to re-enter my access number. Not very impressed with this rental unit.

Then called day before an said was it ok to take a 15' truck was all they had for the same price but later when i drove by they had 10' trucks . So had a very stess full time started this way ahead of time first week of Sept. for the trip i was taking at end of October left Michigan 10/25/21 Thx for the discount that was provided an upgrade on Auto carrier But really didn't like the bigger truck i'm sure i spent more in gas driving that. Was a very stressed out an worried for 7 weeks. Thanks Corporate for discount after almost an 7 week run around. (:) Michael

Rudy M | First ImpressionsThe Storage Unit in Pasadena is Wonderful and so Was their Employee Mckayla. However the Uhaul I started with in Jonesboro, GA was Terrible. I was GIVEN a truck with the check engine light on , and despite us refusing the truck and Stating that we did not feel comfortable driving from GA to Texas with a truck with that light on and begged them to take it back, they made us keep the truck. they sent a mechanic to look at the truck, the mechanic let's us know DO Not Drive the truck, they said the called the Corporate Manager and they still said to drive the truck the estimated 980 miles and the Company tells us basically, ignore the light and drive it anyways you "should be fine". Not even 4 hours into our 12 hour drive did the Truck Start Groaning an awful sound, the performance of the truck is barely hanging on and we had to stop for Gas every 1 and a half hours, spending hundreds in gas. We had no choice to dangerously drive this truck the remainder of our drive and It ended up Taking Hours Longer than it had to, we had to stop constantly and the truck barely made it without breaking down. Not only did we barely make it but they then scheduled my storage in Pasadena and my drop off past Baytown which is another 45 to an 1hr. We were never comfortable driving off and feel we were put in an Unsafe and Unfair Situation. Especially after being told by All Uhual Employees that their not supposed even let it off the lot with a check engine or any light on, it's supposed to be downed. We were assured by several people that there would be a resolve to.this issue that hasn't come yet.
