Charged for two days despite trying to change it to only one. Couldn’t change the term on the web site. Brought back the van after only one day and was assured I’d only be charged for only one day. Nope. Charged for two days. Complained, was assured it would be changed and I’d be refunded. Nope. Still charged for two days. Unbelievable really.

JAMES SThe service was excellent both at pickup and drop off. The only issue I had was I chose an enclosed trailer based on rain/weather. Unfortunately I loaded the trailer the night before and when we unloaded we had a mattress and box spring that were soaked due to an apparent leak in the roof. This is not a ding against the facility or staff as I am sure they didn’t even know about it. It was just disappointing given it is a pretty new/expensive set.

Shanna SWhen the installer cracked the pipe that goes into my catalytic converter when dropping my exhaust system to put on the hitch and then tries to play me like a fool (woman) and tells me the sound is normal and will correct itself in a few day - I would say that this was a HORIBLE experience. This was only the first issue as the exhaust clamps were not put on all the way and when they were, the right side now needed to be cut so that it wouldn't rub again my exhaust pipe. All the time that was put into getting this fixed not to mention a half day of work to go to the mechanic and then being told that you would only cover 1/2 the cost due to depreciation - very depleting and overwhelming. On a positive note, your Claims Adjuster, Michelle Alworth, was very responsive and got me in the right direction to get it fixed. I will never recommend or go to U-Haul again. I do understand that stuff happens - but when the mechanic did not own up to his mistake it is very worrisome.

JAMES SManager (James ?) was nice and quick as there were several folks in line. He clearly explained all aspects of the rental and was helpful. Truck was waiting outside, easy pickup and drop off, so convenient.
DAVID TProvide vehicle with completely full fuel tank. I was offered $35 to return truck with just one-quarter tank, which is what was in it when I picked it up. I had less than 35 miles to empty. Not knowing fuel consumption rates, I filled the tank at a cost of $72. I used less than one-quarter of the full tank, so your business made mine in the free fuel I provided. Estimated tank size of 30 gallons - I used less than one-half tank assuming 2 gallons were already in it. Assuming you got at least 15 gallons for free at $2.99 per gallon, that’s $45 of free fuel. The $35 discount offer was disingenuous and misleading. Another way to look at it is that I spent $72 for a $35 discount leaving you up $37 on the transaction. I returned the truck 16 hours early and received no consideration for the early return. Your staff were very friendly otherwise.
JOHN GTristan, Lily, James and Jack all were pleasant and helpful. Lily was cheerful outside in the sudden cold at night when I returned the truck. Tristan was patient and friendly when I wanted to pay cash and the drawers would not open (this took about 20 minutes). James was calm during a sudden flood of customers. Jack was in good spirits on the phone when I called to change my check in time a few times.

And basically more than a year to get them to stop hassling me to pay them for a storage unit I was no longer using. They hide behind policies and procedures to get out of doing the right thing for the customer. Finally someone contacted me and they seemed to have half a brain and they sent me a simple letter that I could sign and email back. How simple?! Why couldn’t that have been done sometime in 2019? No, I battled with this location from 2019-2021. Unacceptable.
