Horrible experience. U-Haul recommended 3 boxes, thankfully we didn’t listen because we barely needed 3. Boxes were never ready when we went to pick them up, even with me calling and confirming multiple times. I had to call the help line for them to know where my box was delivered and at on site. My movers to load up my boxes were horrible. I got told 2 different locations for where my boxes were delivered. I would not recommend U-Haul or uboxes to anyone.

The girls were busy on the phone. I had to backup to the trailer by myself. I had so all she had to do was drop on the hitch and hood up chains, I even had to plug in my own lights. When I went back in to see what the delay was, She did not like what I said. She yelled at me, Verberly Abused and Verberley Assulted me by saying "I will knock that old man out". Very Unprofessinal. Poor Service.

I had trouble reserving my rental on the webpage - I requested a trailer from Roseville and a drop off at Concord - it gave me other locations but no Concord - after several attempts, I finally just decided to return it to Roseville - I pulled the trailer all over the place all day. Chat person was no help.

The only issue is having to go thru several extra screens (one for each item) asking about add' things like a hand truck, boxes, packing tape, etc. This is VERY annoying. One page offering all the extras would be preferred and IF one is selected and it then needs to go to it's own page - fine. But I've had to go through 7 different pages just to check out a truck. Everything else has been great - the equip, the location & staff (we always pick up at Willis), hours, after hours drop iffs when needed, etc.

If I could give less than poor I could. My unit was robbed. After talking to the police, it is a regular occurrence at U-Haul. When police try to get video footage etc, the management refuses to help. I see people piggyback in on people, and doors not locked during business hours. When the alarms are tripped, they are turned off I assume by staff. You claim to sell safe storage units, not even close. You should be shut down for false advertising and failing to provide what you are selling. This place is a f-ing joke. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will NEVER do business with this company again.

Didn’t like the wired ceiling, rat trap that takes up valuable real estate, & the roll-top door design really kills a not even 5x5x10 feet unit; plus it wasn’t conveniently located for my needs (opposite direction from places I would need to frequent the unit).

The AC on the truck did not work. It blew warm air!! I had to drive through the Nevada desert with the windows down!! It was a good thing that it wasn’t summer yet!! You know it’s bad when the desert air is cooler than the AC!!!

This is the first time I've not received excellent customer service from UHaul staff. I was the only customer standing in front of Jessica (I believe that was the name on her shirt). She didn't greet me or tell me she would be with me in a minute. I stood there waiting for her to look up from her computer for a bit. When anothrr staff person came in she started talking to him, then looked at me. I told her I had an online reservation and she told me she was sending me a link so I could do my check in. I told her I always ask for help with that process because I'm not good doing it with my phone. She told me they're not supposed to help. I got upset and told her I've never had a uhaul person tell me they couldn't help. She then asked the other person to help me because by that time several other customers had come. There are other Uhaul locations close by and I will chose one of them next time. If she is correct in her statement about not helping with the online ID process, then perhaps corporate might rethink that policy. I know I'm not the only tech dinosaur around.

Super efficient layout of various sized storage units. I love using the drive-in parking where I can unload. I’m in and out quickly. Very good experience. I highly recommend U-Haul for your storage needs.

Poor customer service. Was on the phone 3 times today trying to take care of a problem. Nobody took care of the problem I nobody from the store ever called me back. When I dropped the truck off tonight was so disappointed that nobody had called me back today. I need to talk to a manager. Please have someone contact me. Thanx 9169450259

Rude staff. I reserved a trailer from one location and when I came to pick it up, it had a flat. I was sent to this location and they didn't have the correct connector to go with my hitch. Other location had one to go with there extension but this location rudely told me I need to buy one. When I said the other location offered one with their own extension and the tattooed person told me I can go else where if I'm not gonna buy the connector. Second experience at this location with the same person: I came to rent a trailer for 2 hrs and they had two of the same and she would not rent it to me stating these are for long distance, meant to go out of state. I asked are they reserved, she said no. I asked can I rent it for just 2hrs? She said there are meant to go be rented to go out of state. Not a very business mind set. No reservations to go out of state and making some money with local use is a no no. I think I would rather pay more elsewhere than coming here again.

Exceptionally clean & well-maintained. Staff was very informative & helpful. Facility is safe & well-secured. Moving in was far easier than I expected: I can pull my truck indoors, there is a huge elevator neat the loading area, & there are plenty of carts available to carry my items to my storage space.

Equipment and Service is good. Ramp on motorcycle trailer needs to be 18” to 24” longer as most touring bikes bottom out while being loaded onto trailer. For those that don’t know, when loading a bike, the sudden stop of bottoming out while being loaded creates a danger ⛔️ in both damaging the bike and the harming of personnel loading it. Thank you.

We rented a UHAUL and ran out of gas about a mile from the location we picked the vehicle up from. Staff did not let us know that they have had a problem with gas being taken from the vehicles. When we got in the vehicle it looked lower than the amount promised but we did not want to make a big deal about the issue since it was busy. As a result, we were stuck in the middle of a very dangerous intersection with NO gas. If this has been a problem with vehicles I would expect staff to warn customers. When we returned the vehicle still wanted to charge us for gas supposedly in the vehicle. It was like they thought we had siphoned it from the tank. Waiting for over an hour around the corner from the location caused us to miss our movers at our move destination and our lives were t risk when the vehicle ran out of gas. I was told a UHAUL representative would contact me and they never did. The service sent was great.

Customer service was non-existent. While it was not so much a problem at pick-up, the 26' truck had mechanical issues, that were reported to Jessica. While she offered to have me bring the truck in to swap it out, I didn't have time to do that, nor did I want to pay $1.09 / mile to go out of my way, to fix their issue. Aside from that, the guy that checked me in at return, had somewhat of an attitude. When I asked if the pads I paid for were rented or purchased, he asked me what I got (which he should have known), then when I showed them to him in the back of the truck, he indicated that since they were not folded, he would be charging me a cleaning fee. So I folded them up, with not so much as an offer from him to assist. While I returned the truck with more fuel than it started with, there was not even a thank you ... I guess I was not the customer, and I must have put him out a bit expecting that I was. I will not be renting from this facility again, even though it was convenient to do so. I will go out of my way to rent somewhere else.

I’m usually asked about a ramp when I rent trailers. I want asked this time. Not a big deal, but it explained why the rental was $6 higher than normal. Outside, Carlos helped me get it switched over with zero problem. He had a smaller the whole time, very friendly while being highly efficient. I hope he helps me from now on when I rent. Appears to be an asset of an employee.

Dropped off my truck on time but forgot a broom to clean minor dirt, etc. I was told that if they could use blower to quickly clean out the back there would be no charge. I had to leave for an appointment so I accepted an email receipt. I was shocked to see a $100 cleaning bill for what must have been two minutes of work. Ridiculous IMO.

Absolutely terrible service. They gave us the U-Haul with no fuel and told us that if we brought it back with at least a quarter tank get a $20 credit but they end up charging us for saying that we brought it back with no fuel headlights were out AC did not work And they charge us for somehow after our service and in late fees even though we returned it, they called us several days later saying we never returned anything then they said that they changed our location and they let us know and they never let us know that they change locations or anything so we returned it to the drop off location on the paper contract and the lady that called a bitch and hung up on us

The lock was extremely hard to use because apparently the rain makes them rust ( if they knew this why not replace)! The ignition stuck badly every time I had to start it I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to ( also something the staff told me they knew about but other trucks were a priority over this issue)! If you’re running a business you have to have money to maintain you equipment or you will lose customers!

This is the second truck I’ve rented that makes terrible noises and clearly needs maintenance. It seems like these trucks are not being serviced or repaired. I only rented it for a short distance, so it was okay, but if I had to move to another city or state, I wouldn’t trust these trucks. They are clearly unreliable.

The staff who helped us was she was not friendly at all. She had an attitude and treated me as an idiot that made my husband nervous. She warned us that "there is no storage for us and go and find storage somewhere else". My husband asked her for a manger she claimed that the manger gone for the day, While she was claiming that the manager showed up and solved the issue, I really appreciate the manager help and he treated me so respectfully.

Trash cans , breaks on rolling carts would be helpful. The latch on my storage unit doesn’t lineup properly making it very difficult to lock but staff came up and helped. Very clean very friendly and I going trough a very emotional time right now and it was good to know and feel my family belongings are safe

There was a little mix up because my phone number came up as a past customer with wrong personal info when i originally set up my account. I didnt notice until lafter i left the office that my reciepts had someone else' name. Luckily when i returned, Jessica the manager was able to adjust any of the discrepencies and all was good.. Best deal in town for temp controlled, secure, new, modern space that even has a restroom..

The storage facility is modern, has amazing access for truck deliveries, and is very conveniently located. In addition, the assistant manager, I believe her name is Layla, was wonderful! The gal who helped me at the Roseville location (Willis St), I didn’t get her name but she had black hair, glasses, and some cool tattoos on her arms and I think she may have been a manager. However, she was tremendous help she was quick, she was kind, and she went out of her way to show me where my storage was when there was a line out the door. She was very accommodating and willing to help me in case I didn’t get the right size storage which was super nice. I’m very happy with my experience here so far.

I booked online and didn’t really bother much with inducements of free lock with purchase of storage online or free first month move in deal…the unit was most important and for us- we got a Great unit. It fit our needs entirely. With Climate Control and keypad entry I feel very secure with our choice💯 Also the Staff- We went to a few locations…were excellent, The woman Alyssa working the counter at the Storage unit on Wills Rd was above and beyond helpful and pleasant, a good charisma that really made me glad to be there.

Turning into the parking lot it gets confusing as to where to park for storage. All the u haul return are right in front of the main office building. Upon arrival one male staff member walks away. I talk to one of the female staff member as to where I need to go to get to the storage, she gets smart with me as to where I needed to go, doesn't even give a tour as I seen other people being shown where to go. She tells me if I exit one entrance and go to the left another entrance goes to the storage, I had no idea, as a first time experience here, it wasn't too great, but I had found my storage unit and was at ease, but in the customer service side I'm very upset and I guess I'll just figure it out on my own .
