It would be really nice if you would stop sending me to the uhaul that is farthest away from my house and charging me mileage to back track everytime.

With one exception. The person who did the walk thru when I returned the truck, found the dint on the top front of the box unit. He asked if I did the walk thru with the person when I picked it up. I said I did. Why? He said look at that dint on the top front of the box unit. I said I didn't do it nor did we notice it during the walk thru. He said that it something anyone would have noticed. Luckily I had purchased the insurance so he said it wasn't a problem. I know he was just doing his job. However I didn't like the inference that I wasn't telling the truth. I still would recommend both locations, however I was disappointed with the customer service when I returned the truck. Thank you for your time and effort MaryPaula I. Albert

I thought I'd give it another try and man was that dumb. I contemplated keeping my rental for 2 or 3 days and the employee who helped said "get it for two and if you need a 3rd call" so that's what I did. I called the night of the first day around 530 was put on hold for several minutes when my call was finally answered I informed the employee I needed another night. He took my info because he had a line and said he'd take care of it, ok cool I guess? Well apparently he did no such thing as I started getting calls the next day to as when I'd be turning it in because it's late, I explained that I called the day before and asked for another day and what the employee said and their answer was "sorry someone else now needs it" I told them I'm in the middle of moving and there was no way I'd get it there before they close and that it's crap that I can't keep it. He then said again "sorry, there is nothing I can do for you and we have a 24 hour drop off. Just leave your paperwork in the drop box" so needless to say I'm pretty upset at this moment, so after a few more trips to the new house I realized I have a vip certificate for $55 dollars from the first time they screwed up, so I call the store to see how I apply this because I'm drop off after hours. I get their customer service and explain what's going on and she says leave the certificate with your paperwork when you drop it off in the drop box, and I'll make a note in the computer so they know to apply it to your total.... Well after several more loads I drop the trailer off at 3am do exactly what she says and to my surprise they screw up again. They don't any my certificate so I call as soon as the receipt is emailed to me and I explained to the employee what happened and what I was told to do and he said "oh you left it with your paperwork in the drop box, yah we just throw it away man" "let me take your info and I'll get back to you" well after almost 48 hours no call back, no money given back, and still a pissed off customer. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.

I reserved 26ft truck one month in advance of my move. two days prior to my move, I was informed by this location that they didn't have a 26ft and I would have to settle for a 20ft. I was moving 150 miles from this location. Needless to say I had to make two trips. At that point it was too late to find anything else.

This was one of the worst experiences with a company not working with their other stores. To make a long story short I reserved a truck and trailer at one location (thinking I was going to pick them up at the same location). I was told they were reserved but at no time was I told that the trailer was reserved for me at a different location 15 miles (one way) away. I asked if they could get the trailer to the location of the truck and they replied that "they cannot transport a unit from one store to another". I asked if I could at least drop them off at one location and I was told I could not. I am sure they could have reserved the truck where the trailer was but that would have meant money for a different store. So they basically had me pay for about 45 miles of mileage ($.89/mile) going from one store to the other. What a scam and really shady. I will never use Uhaul again.

Matthew was great to work with. I saw him with other customers when I came to pick up the Tow Dolly, and he did the return for us. Considerate, polite and willing to help customers. Very impressed with his mannerisms. All your employees should strive for that kind of effort when it comes to service and friendliness.

I rated is average because what we reserved is not what we got and the scheduling representative was NOT helpful and we ended up with a smaller truck for more money. I was very upset 2 days prior to the move to find out that my truck would be 6' shorter. I understand that things happen and items aren't always available, but 2 days prior is too late to have to figure out what you are going to do since you now have to take more trips. It was just extremely poor customer service. She was not helpful nor seemed the least bit concerned about the issue. It's stressful enough by itself, you should have to worry about the fact that what you reserved FAR in advance would not be available. Just disappointed. The location on Willis could not have been better and more friendly, the truck was super clean and nice.

Your employees need to pay attention. Octavio wrote my mileage as 474 instead of 414 which caused me to have to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes to get this corrected so I would NOT be charged for 60 miles I did not incur. On top of that, the cashier did NOT know how to make this correction. I also paid in CASH and had to ask the cashier TWICE for a receipt. Duh, I am paying in cash. I NEED a receipt since you have already made the mistake. I do NOT intend to pay TWICE. This is one of those experiences which should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. Had I left this on my credit card, it would have been nearly impossible to get that extra 60 miles credited back to me. Look out if you put this on my credit card, too.
