when I reserved my truck, the person waiting on me was fairly new and didn’t explain or asked me questions about the order she took for my truck. When I picked up my truck, Mateo was on the phone to his girlfriend and chose to talk to her while I stood there. He asked me my name, typed it in and continued to talk to her for another minute or two while he processed my order, then he asked me to do a series of things with my phone like my license downloading an app and taking pictures of the truck taking a picture of the mileage, taking a picture of the gas gate none of which I understood. I’m a senior over 70 years old and had no clue what he was talking about. At least he walked out to the truck and told me what to do and how to do it. When I delivered the truck, the person was kind and efficient. My overall take on my experience is that there’s not enough help in the CUSTOMER SERVICE area that people have to sometimes wait including me up to 10 minutes. Be waited on because of the responsibilities they have of going out and having to check the truck or do whatever it is that they do I’ve been renting out of this particular UHAUL location forever 18 years I still have always had the same experience not enough help on the front line suggestion have one person processing the orders while the other teammate goes out and checks things other than that my experience was pretty good. truck was great equipment and I was treated with respect and patience

Customer service not great both times cashier was talking to coworker and left me standing around waiting for their personal convos to end before helping me. On drop off cashier left with coworker to chat outside and check mileage of uhaul and left me inside for a very long time before coming back to give me receipt. Drop off service was awful.

Sara and the whole staff were great. But, as usual, every time I rent on a Saturday the systems are crashing or down. Seriously, let go of your CTO and upgrade your systems. The staff did the best they could and were very helpful in a situation that wasn't their fault. The new facility was really nice, but I always dread renting on a weekend because your tech is severely over taxed. Need to fix it.

Everything with Uhaul Pods was AWESOME. I got 5 pods total, should have done the 6 like recommended BUT it all worked out great. The option to have more dropped off if needed, is so nice. The girl who dropped off and picked up was absolutely the sweetest. She was SO NICE. Customer service was SO HELPFUL as well. The only reason my pods were a little late, was because of weather, NOTHING on their end. They even discounted the delivery/shipping cost because of that, when they truly never needed to. They are just great all around. I will FOR SURE use them whenever I move!!! Was so easy :)

I did not have a truck rental reservation, but the on-site manager found a way to get me into a rental. Staff were professional and very customer friendly. I am glad I chose to rent at U-Haul. Will do in the future as well.

I arrived late for my reservation, like 20min and once I got there it was a HUGE line almost at the door and just Sarah at the desk as the other workers were helping other customers. System was being super slow and they kept their composure and got everyone what they needed and out. A crew that can handle the pressure on a busy day, with elements against them. Shout out to this crew, Sarah and Sean for doing a good job. I will be back if I ever need another Truck Rental.

If you are going to require specific technology to rent a vehicle, it would be better customer service for the rental facility to provide access to the technology at the facility.

The Drop Off process took less than 5 minutes. Very Professional, Effective and Efficient. I don't understand why the Pick Up process took over 45 minutes. The 5 minute Drop Off process confirmed that the majority of the Pick Up information and 45 minute processing time was useless. And almost cost U-Haul this rental, and probably cost U-Haul future rentals.

Overall a very good experience but the self-service checkout process is needlessly complex with picture taking and vehicle assessment. On the van I rented one of the door hinges was bent and the door did not stay open. This kind of problem could only be found during the use of the vehicle so the initial inspection provided no proof of when the door was damaged or if it was just a faulty component. Please look in to ways of streamlining / simplifying the checkout and check in process.

Manager Sara of the Roseville Wills Rd location is incredible. She went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and gave me a personal tour of the facility and my unit. Failed to setup delivery of boxes. I had scheduled them to be dropped off Monday, Sunday afternoon they called and said they had no drive that day so I had to pick them up and drop them off myself. I was guaranteed a drop off in Georgia between Dec 8-10th. Boxes didn’t leave CA until the 6th and showed up almost a week late for Georgia. Now uhaul is trying to charge me extra rent which I am refusing to pay.

She has exceeded my expectations in terms of being available and accessible, even when moving in after hours. She is always willing and available to help, if help is needed. A+ experience!

Gave feedback during the return process on the app after previous rental that rear padlock was broken / bent and would not lock. Got same truck for this rental 2 weeks later and it still had same broken lock so it seems that feedback / reporting of issues is totally ignored.

the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, the only thing I would suggest is that if the customers have 2 small cars and moving into their storage that they put both cars in one bay and not take up 2, this way the trucks can be able to pull in to a covered bay.

Let people know that the lock will not open if there is tensions on the lock. We thought it was broke. Still a solid 5 stars because the manager, Sarah was amazing. Literally was the saving grace to the dumpster fire our move was turning into. Hands down the best customer service I have ever had!!!

Storage access availability says 24hrs on the signage but after renting we learned that it is actually 5am - 10 pm. While not technically an inconvenience it is misleading.

If I could give less than poor I could. My unit was robbed. After talking to the police, it is a regular occurrence at U-Haul. When police try to get video footage etc, the management refuses to help. I see people piggyback in on people, and doors not locked during business hours. When the alarms are tripped, they are turned off I assume by staff. You claim to sell safe storage units, not even close. You should be shut down for false advertising and failing to provide what you are selling. This place is a f-ing joke. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will NEVER do business with this company again.

Didn’t like the wired ceiling, rat trap that takes up valuable real estate, & the roll-top door design really kills a not even 5x5x10 feet unit; plus it wasn’t conveniently located for my needs (opposite direction from places I would need to frequent the unit).

Exceptionally clean & well-maintained. Staff was very informative & helpful. Facility is safe & well-secured. Moving in was far easier than I expected: I can pull my truck indoors, there is a huge elevator neat the loading area, & there are plenty of carts available to carry my items to my storage space.

The staff who helped us was she was not friendly at all. She had an attitude and treated me as an idiot that made my husband nervous. She warned us that "there is no storage for us and go and find storage somewhere else". My husband asked her for a manger she claimed that the manger gone for the day, While she was claiming that the manager showed up and solved the issue, I really appreciate the manager help and he treated me so respectfully.

Trash cans , breaks on rolling carts would be helpful. The latch on my storage unit doesn’t lineup properly making it very difficult to lock but staff came up and helped. Very clean very friendly and I going trough a very emotional time right now and it was good to know and feel my family belongings are safe

There was a little mix up because my phone number came up as a past customer with wrong personal info when i originally set up my account. I didnt notice until lafter i left the office that my reciepts had someone else' name. Luckily when i returned, Jessica the manager was able to adjust any of the discrepencies and all was good.. Best deal in town for temp controlled, secure, new, modern space that even has a restroom..

The storage facility is modern, has amazing access for truck deliveries, and is very conveniently located. In addition, the assistant manager, I believe her name is Layla, was wonderful! The gal who helped me at the Roseville location (Willis St), I didn’t get her name but she had black hair, glasses, and some cool tattoos on her arms and I think she may have been a manager. However, she was tremendous help she was quick, she was kind, and she went out of her way to show me where my storage was when there was a line out the door. She was very accommodating and willing to help me in case I didn’t get the right size storage which was super nice. I’m very happy with my experience here so far.

I booked online and didn’t really bother much with inducements of free lock with purchase of storage online or free first month move in deal…the unit was most important and for us- we got a Great unit. It fit our needs entirely. With Climate Control and keypad entry I feel very secure with our choice💯 Also the Staff- We went to a few locations…were excellent, The woman Alyssa working the counter at the Storage unit on Wills Rd was above and beyond helpful and pleasant, a good charisma that really made me glad to be there.

Turning into the parking lot it gets confusing as to where to park for storage. All the u haul return are right in front of the main office building. Upon arrival one male staff member walks away. I talk to one of the female staff member as to where I need to go to get to the storage, she gets smart with me as to where I needed to go, doesn't even give a tour as I seen other people being shown where to go. She tells me if I exit one entrance and go to the left another entrance goes to the storage, I had no idea, as a first time experience here, it wasn't too great, but I had found my storage unit and was at ease, but in the customer service side I'm very upset and I guess I'll just figure it out on my own .
