jessie s50 guarantee false advertising. They charged my card twice for gas and ended up getting those $50 back and threatened to turn into collections and suspend my license making it more difficult for me to pay toll charges and solicited my number. I have been getting spam calls from agencies claiming to be from Texas toll with a link. Do not recommend this location they will pull money out of your account without your permission. I am contacting BBB. I want a full refund for my horrible customer service experience and hassle.

DAMON KDrop off was very easy, even though the dealer was busy, they took time to check in the trailer I returned. Very pleased with the friendliness of the staff even with workload they had. Very satisfied with the whole self-moving experience.
ALFRED TToo crowded with equipment. I could barely maneuver to pick up the trailer. The staff seemed like it was a bother to take my business. Helpers were a zero. What's worse than a bad job? Not doing the job at all! Ultra Care Logistics (cjmoving@yahoo.com) never showed up and left me hanging to load and unload. He blocked me from texting or calling. You need to drop them from your list of helpers.

DONALD BI was forced to use this location when my reservation was moved at the last minute by another location. Further location means more mileage I have to pay for. No customer concession for the inconvenience. Long wait times in store and on the phone.Gassed the truck before dropping it off. Still charged me for gas. Submitted a concern. Manager called once but didn’t leave a voicemail, send an email or text with any information. Instead he closed the concern and moved on cause “he’s busy”. Terrible customer service. Be better!

WILLIAM PCustomer service was terribly slow. No excuses for the slow service. I read reviews about this location before I made my reservation and they all condemned the extremely slow service but I thought how bad can it be and since it was the closest rental center I went with them. I was stunned at the slow service and will never choose them again. Sadly, this slow customer service is on Uhaul. Uhaul claims in their survey “We are always looking for ways to improve our service” Yet, after reading the customer survey’s they are constantly being ripped for poor/slow customer service and they deliberately choose to do nothing to fix it. This simply tells you it is way to easy for Uhaul to ignore its problems and continue to make money off its suffering customers. Shame on Uhaul.

However, at both locations the attentiveness and customer orientation of your people made the difference. Both locations appear to be very well managed. Both locations had lots of customer activity and yet, everyone appeared to be getting great help. Well done!!

Your location in North Austin was very convenient for our move, right off of I-35 but providing access and egress without actually having to get on I-35.

She was the alleged to be the scheduling manager. She was extremely rude and completely lacked empathy and concern while interacting with me. My car stalled over the road and it caused me to be late. I was instructed to call her to move my drop off location. She was sure to blame me for my vehicle breaking down during the move. Causing me to be late. She told me I was bad at communicating and that I seem to have a problem. Worse interaction I've ever had of a uhaul staff member after doing business with uhaul for over 20+ years. I also received feedback that this is not the first time she's treated customers like this. That concerns me giving the state people may be in while they are contacting her. Her treatment to customers is disgusting and I have a feeling she only talks like that on her unrecorded line that I believe she talks on. I was completely blown away but Xavier made the experience phenomenonal.

They were both very rude and condescending as well as highly disrespectful. I even had a friend rent a truck from this location and she too had the same experience with the manager being rude from the get go. Look at the google reviews for this location and you’ll the same sentiment left by others in regards to the manager here. I will never use U-Haul again because of him.

There was no mention of a extra deposit or using your credit card versus your debit card so I had to get a larger truck which I did not need and the instructions was not registered for my storage unit, so when I try to sign in with the code. It did not let me sign in…overall experience was good, but those were just simple details that was not mentioned online at all. I received several emails and confirmations, but nothing was mentioned about those.

I hate moving, but this place really helps me out so much!

To my surprise my 2 TV's, my bed and a nice desk were taken. Yes, there are cameras, but they didn't seem to capture visuals on the thief. Plus, I had to pay for a whole month for 5 days before I was moving out with no refund. I'm terribly disappointed.

She is kind and patient and she solved all my problems when I messed up an online reservation. My move would have been so difficult and she cheerfully and helpfully got me a truck and handled all the paperwork and online stuff. Thank you so much! Both times I used this facility she was there and was so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. The storage facility is great, too. Easy in and out with our stuff. Huge elevator and lots of dollies to move. I was surprised at how quickly we could load and unload the unit.

Holly E | First ImpressionsTLDR; Do not recommend this location, save yourself and go somewhere else. I would not choose this facility again. I reserved my unit online, which was a very smooth process, but it was in person moving in where I learned what a mistake I had made. First, they tried to get out of the one month free rent (which I was due, given my one-way truck reservation through UHaul), and had to end up calling the manager (who was not on-site) to make sure that it was okay for them to give it to me. After confirming all of that, buying the lock for the storage unit, and going through the final booking for my unit, I was shown my unit and then informed that the access hours ARE NOT WHAT IS LISTED ONLINE. My access hours would actually be the location's office hours (7am-7pm Monday-Saturday and 9am-5pm Sunday, instead of the listed 5am-10pm). They changed their access hours sometime "in the last year or two due to multiple break-ins of their units". My representative repeatedly told me "I wouldn't put anything of value in your unit if I was you". After learning about that, I was informed that their access system was having difficulties, so I would not be able to use my key code to get into the storage building to access my storage unit. Instead, I would have to get the manager or another representative to open the storage building door for me each time I wanted in. When I asked when that issue would be fixed, my representative said he was unable to give me any sort of timeline (days? weeks? months?), only that they were working on it and it would "hopefully be fixed soon". My representative's code worked, and while we were talking about this, several other people were able to use their codes to access the building. Maybe it was because I have a new code? He was sure my code wouldn't work, but was unsure why, and it felt super shady. I tried my access code later, and sure enough it did not work. To top everything else off, the interior temperature of the building was sitting just above 90 degrees. There is a sign on the wall that shows a thermometer and says "For your comfort this storage area is kept between 65 and 85 degrees". It was cooler than the 102 degrees outside, but given I'm paying extra for a climate controlled unit, it would be really nice if they actually kept it within their stated acceptable temperature range. To sum up, I would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone. I was talked down to the whole time, and the whole interaction felt really shady. Also I would have chosen a different location had I known about the multiple break-ins of storage units! If I had known what I know now, I would not have gone here. TLDR; Do not recommend, save yourself and go somewhere else.
NICOLE M | First ImpressionsThe staff member who helped me check in the car carrier in order to be able to unload the truck was friendly and helpful. She referred me to her manager for the storage unit, but he initially wanted me to pay for a new 5*5 reservation rather than checking me in to the 5*10 one I reserved as part of the one way rental. When I told him one of the car carrier tie down straps was torn shorter than the other but the staff at the original U-Haul attached and tightened the short one for me, he rudely grilled me saying he was going to check and double check for any marks that he can attribute to me as an unreported accident and that the safemove insurance would not be valid if he could find a scratch. No, I didn't have any accidents in it, but we definitely left the side-view mirrors cleaner and better aligned than how they started out. Both the storage unit manager and my new apartment manager said that the U-Haul storage facility is in a bad neighborhood in terms of break ins.

She then put me on hold but before said she was getting someone to better assist me. Another girl got on the phone and was professional at first but then began to cut me off the. Telling me it was my fault o should have taken a picture of my mileage. Things got more rude then she put me on hold I hung up she kept calling me back finally when I answered I asked to speak to her supervisor she was arguing with me about that. She then got a man on the phone claiming to be a supervisor but wouldn’t give me his name so he hung up on me. I never had this experience before until now I have used U-Haul for 20 plus years and never had anyone rude or disrespectful. I will be sending an email to Henry. Y’all need to hire professional staff..

WHAT IS THE POINT OF A RESERVATION SYSTEM IF THE ONLINE RESERVATION IS NOT HONORED! I am lucky they were able to help me find another unit nearby although I am now paying more than I had initially intended to for a unit of the same size. Great staff, terrible reservation system. I am never recommending a uhaul storage unit to anyone and will never use uhaul storage or anything uhaul again. Moving is already a stressful experience, and finding out that the unit you reserved is no longer available when all your furniture is a truck in the parking lot is even more stressful . Awful, irresponsible, and unbelievably unreliable.

Bianca L | Online Move InYeah your staff you had at the place where I picked my truck up and where I had my storage unit at never it went above and beyond the call of duty I mean they were definitely good employees you know I think you should give him a raise and her a raise cuz of the young lady that was that helped me with my toolbox and I didn't expect her to help me but she just came out of there and turns out she was stronger than I was but yes she was the one that was working on the one on I-35 north in Austin Texas but yeah I would recommend y'all cuz that's the only people yell the wrong people I deal with you because you get it right every time.

I cannot remember her name but she was a thin African American Girl and she was there around 4ish on Friday 6/11/21 at the IH35 location between Breaker and Rundberg in Aust tx ..She was really caring eased my mind as I was going through a tough situation! I would like to recommend if at all possible she have some type of recognition for her outstanding customer service. She seems to be really dedicated and loves her job!

Y'all should give that young man a raise cuz he is very good at what he does you know he's he was very helpful and I would definitely recommend them to everybody I mean I've always used you all no matter what. Constantly grabbing at center of mask with bare hands and touching everything from paperwork to cards being exchanged. Felt so uncomfortable, as I am moving due to losing family to COVID and and trying to be cautious when this made that impossible. Also given a unit that already had a lock on it and that caused even more issues. I would not recommend this location to anyone based on these actions and the manner workers presented themselves in. I am only grateful for the young woman who fixed the storage unit access issue as fast as possible. Although this also left me with a unit in the very back when mine was originally in the front.
