It was set up very easy to drop off after hours, and the next day the staff was extremely helpful and caught that I had left my phone holder in the truck. Thankful he had the eye for that detail!

I had ordered a hand truck but was not given, I order it 1 month ago and thought for sure one would be reserved for me. While 3 trucks came in at least one would have what I ordered.

We were pressured to take the tire coverage which was not explained to us before we got to South Carolina to rent We felt the tires should have been in good shape or the U-Haul should not have been rented out. That was unfair to do. We have never had to buy this to rent

Everything started okay until it was time to return the equipment. The price I agreed to is not what was deducted from my debit card. When I asked why, I was told that they put a two day hold on the rental and I was clear that I stated that I would have it back in several hours.

We rented a car dollie, the tires were making a thumping noise, my husband thought they had to much air in them,when we returned the dollie we noticed it had a bad tire on it. Would not have been good if the tire blew when hauling a car!! Staff was very friendly!!

No contact because I turned in the rental truck after hours. 26’ truck loaded down. Got better gas mileage than I expected. I was hoping for 7mpg. Averaged about 8.7mpg driving 65 mph. It does need a front end alignment. It pulls to the right. Not too bad but it can’t hurt.

Someone had access to my unit and removed items without my knowledge the unit was ransacked. This was my first experience and it was traumatizing

Drop off location was not desirable. Trailers behind locked gate. Had to leave in front parking spot. Parking area was slightly graded and I had to find something to put on hitch area to keep trailer from rolling out of parking spot as they were closed when I returned the trailer.

The staff told me excess miles are .99 per mile and I was charge $1.00 and they told me if I returned it early, that I would get a refund. I was not refunded and the chat people rudely told my why.

I have been charged for 2 extra days, because a worker there was too incompetent to check me in when we dropped the trailer off. I called last night hoping to have the issue resolved, but quite the opposite happened. I dropped the trailer off on 03/09/2025 at 2:45. We waited by the check out kiosk but the guy ordered us the drive around and back it in to an open spot. I thought that was weird because it’s never happened before (I always just pull into the drop off and the unhook me right there) I’m calling corporate to get this fixed.

The air conditioning was out the last time that I was in the store it would be nice to have it fixed so that it was working and more comfortable. The next is to have enough team members available throughout the day so that there's not a line of customers waiting on two people to be checked out. Otherwise arrange it so that you can do your own self checkout and skip the lines

The truck I drove wheel alignment caused the steering steering wheel to be positioned at an angle where you had to take your eyes off the road to look at the speedometer which is very dangerous. This should be repaired because you can't see the speedometer because of the position of the steering wheel.

My storage lock has been cut off and a new one has been put on all my clothes and shoes was gone. A lot of my kids things I had a car set of speakers size 12 missing. I had a lot of stuff missing out my storage and no one has supposed to be in it, it was not even time to be to be even for someone to even be in it

Stored my daughter’s apartment stuff here for about six months. When we went to move it out we discovered mice had gotten into the unit and left droppings all over the mattresses and box springs. We ended up having to throw out two twin mattresses and two box springs. We had to take them and find a place as we were not even allowed to throw them out in the dumpster at the facility or we would be fined. I was given the manager’s number and I text her but she never bothered to respond to my text. Poor customer service!

Mya storage was broken into twice. Kristian Thompson, The GM, was the absolute worst. Once I realized it was broken into she was so nasty towards me with looking through the video. She stayed the video only went back 1 month and was not willing to look through it. She continuously denied that it was my unit being broken into even though I watched them take my items out of the unit. She asked when the last time I visited my unit and when told she then made the remark “who doesn’t go to their storage in 2 months?” . I use U-Haul everytime I need to move, but with the service I was provided I’ll make sure that none of my friends or family ever use it again. I’m still waiting on a claims adjuster to contact me.

After using the storage unit for more than a year today we moved out. Our furniture was covered in rat feces and ruined other items. The assistant manager was nice and stated to never have this happen before and gave me the insurance company information. Hopefully they can compensate for this issue.

Had a total of 2 units, seemed to be much confusion about my move out date for one. Malinda (I believe is her name) helped clear that up after speaking with 1800 customer service who couldn't even figure it out and I never got a call back from a store manager. Second unit was outside, my things were covered in rat poop and roaches dead and alive literally had to bomb my new place to kill everything. Prices could definitely be cheaper due to critters. This location is literally always 100% busy with very little staff. Josh ( or maybe Justin is his name ) was always helpful anytime I needed anything. Facility definitely needs to be deep cleaned and pest controlled asap.

345 Whitney rd Spartanburg South Carolina location has the best staff. My only complaint is the hall light didn’t seem to work making it impossible to see in one of my units. Besides that it was a great experience.

Very satisfied customer, there was a problem with the u haul system and i wasn't able to get my card to get in to my unit after 5, i was able to get a hold of the manager after hours and ricki was very helpful to the situation and my needs as i had to be at work the next morning at 5am and she extended the time on the trailer for me to come in when i got off work. This was the cleanest storage facility I have ever used. The staff was cleaning the outside and removing leaves to keep them from blowing inside the building. Very secure and convenient. The staff was so helpful when we dropped off our belongings and even told me to call to switch the drop off to their location. Best experience with a move and storage.
