Manager Erfan was there, He was very nice, Friendly and helpful. Joselyn was also there. Great experience. When I came back to return the truck Bashir was there to help me. I am so impressed with your Uhaul staff at New Hampshire Ave. Takoma park location. As a matter of fact I became regular Customer to rent truck at this location. Name few of front desk employees, Like Jasmin, Jafri, Mellisa, Johnathan, Nestor, Patty, They are excellent employees.. Equipment should be checked before renting. Ideally, pick-up and drop-off points should be in safe areas.

I was not informed that I needed to provide my own lock. And the movers delivery my pod late due to issues at the uhaul store. The third party movers were very helpful in helping me navigate what to do since uhaul Takoma was not particularly informative.

Crowd of people standing in front of entrance and exit solitcitizing. I booked the van to drop off at a different location and confirmed it web browser. When I pick up is when they let me know that i have to drop the van back at original location and its not able to do a one-way.

Answer the phones. They intentionally have the ringer volume low. There were zero customers in the store, and they just let the phone ring. I literally had to tell the teenage staff members that I could wait while they answered the ringing phone. Their lack of care for the well-being of their customers who call the store is astounding. I understand that they were all very young, but their customer service skills are lacking severely. They don't smile. They don't understand the differences between the insurance products. I don't know if it's a generational issue or a lack of training and accountability from U-Haul, but I only have this experience at the Takoma Park location.

Make sure the trucks are very clean with Clorox and check the engine steering wheel they need maintenance otherwise thank you for quick service

When I picked up the truck the gas tank was empty and it smelled of cigarettes, with cigarette ash in the cup holder. After unloading the truck at my house, the truck almost didn’t start. It clearly has battery issues.

Definitely recommend Uhaul in Takoma Park. Me and my wife have a small business, and the Takoma Park location has multiple size trucks to accommodate whatever need i have that day. Customer service team is great. Always get my trucks there.

Reservation process for the van I rented was easy & reasonable price, but that was the only positive things. The Takoma Park location lacks basic customer service skills and communication. We arrived to unload our UBox with the van we rented, but it took 45min to find the UBox! The U-Haul rep told us the UBox was located in the back, without any further details. After searching for 20min, we couldn’t find it. We go back to the desk for help & then she gave us the UBox number. After searching another 20min unable to find it, I go back inside for the 2nd time demanding that someone help us. Only to be told that the UBox is actually inside the warehouse & someone would bring it out on the forklift. WHAT?! They wasted 45min of our time due to their lack of communication. I will NEVER rent from this location again!! There were plenty of employees available to help but none of them took initiative to provide basic customer service. Also, the van’s back door was difficult to open & there was a constant warning light that was on while driving saying the door was open, when it was actually closed.

Please fix your app so that customers can actually take pictures of vehicles. This is the second time in a month I've used Uhaul and neither time could I take pictures of the vehicles or upload pics I'd taken myself. That would be helpful. Mr Bashir is awesome and gave great customer service both times.

I don't know what happen when I enter en check the fuel it is ok equals to the paper given, but some how once The truck runs 1 mile or less the fuel level is going down so fast.

Have your equipment mechanically maintained better. The truck I rented check engine light came on, the engine started to hesitate like the ignition system had a bad misfire, and the suspension was making all types of noises.

They called to deliver the unit on a different day than scheduled. They were supposed to deliver between 9:30a-11:30a. They didn’t arrive until 12:30 & Unit wasn’t delivered until 5p. Pickup was late.

My experience is in regards to my overall uBox experience versus just the Takoma Park location. UHaul told me and my moving help that the uBox would be delivered to the Chillum Rd location. Incorrect

Driver, Maurice, was awesome and very polite. One suggestion - you should get trailer hitch locks. Easy to potentially have someone come and hook up the trailer and tow away the entire box!

I rented two uboxes that were stored at my home for two months. Delivery and pick up was great, thanks to Janal. The office staff communication was the worst i have ever encountered!!!

Ubox not delivered to the facility listed in arrival confirmation email, were told it might be lost. Delivery scheduled for 12pm - delivered at 9pm after many calls. Mouse droppings were found.

The UHAUL of TAKOMA PARK at 6889 New Hampshire Ave. is the BEST/ TOP store I have ever visited. Their workers are professional, polite and very helpful. They made my relocation move more pleasant.
