While the truck was quite new, with only 8000 miles, the driver cab reeked of something that smelled like spilled milk or vomit or both. I had the drive for three hours with the windows down.

My complaint is from my reservation online, in August UHaul debited my caret card for $44.95 on August 11th for boxes & supplies I requested on my Van pick up on the 31st. Yesterday when I picked my the Van, those boxes weren't included which would have me to pay for them twice. I'm not disputing the $44.95 charge assessed to my Mastercard for services not rendered by the Merchant, which is you. Otherwise, the vehicle & service were outstanding

Have somebody to help customers fill out the online reservation portal so they can skip the in store line. The line in the store got very long.

The app told me to "skip the line" to pick up the key, but when we went in, there was a line of about 10 people. My husband ask a person working the desk and they instructed us to get online, so we did. We waited for 10-15 minutes, realizing it would take at least an hour, so I started asking others in line if their app was telling them to skip the line. People were NOT happy with me. They thought I was trying too jump the line. It was quite uncomfortable, but I wasn't going to needlessly wait in line. The person at the counter told me to come up and gave me the key from the hook. There should have been better signage inside the facility, or the people at the counter should have asked who just needed to pick up keys. It made for a stressful start to our move (and we've move A LOT)

The van was perfect. It wasn’t until I went to pick up the rental that I found out they had no hand trucks or furniture dollies. No explanation except “well people don’t bring them back”. Well I know if u didn’t bring one back you would charge me. So go out and buy some replacements. I could have rented from another location but because of this I had to spend additionally to BUY Dollie’s for the move. This review will be on Google, Yelp and Ang other place I can find. Poor business practice to offer rentals weeks in advance, know you don’t have the equipment and not make a phone call or send an email. I was also given a bit of a hassle because I was an hour late for my pickup, not sure whey that matters since it was a daily rental.

The truck I rented had a loose seal on the driver door which was extremely LOUD, NOISY and distracting for my 9 hr drive. I tried to adjust it but i didn't work.

We had a great experience using Uhaul for our move. It was the first time we had used Uhaul in this capacity and it was highly recommended by others. The experience did not disappoint. All of the workers we interacted with throughout the process were helpful and professional. If you are doing your own packing for your items that will be put in the Uhaul Pods, we would strongly recommend overly wrapping your items versus doing the bare minimum. Some of our items were tossed around during transport which is to be expected. We think nothing broke because we overly wrapped our items in bubble wrap or other protective packaging. Better to be overly prepared for breakage!

I feel like you should carry different dimensions in your boxes. I personally could have use one that was slightly bigger than what you have. I had to donate and trash a lot of things that I would have wanted to bring with me.

Bashir, the local agent who helped with the tow dolly rental in Takoma Park (MD), was simply outstanding! He was very helpful and provided clear instructions on how to use the tow dolly. Since this was my first time renting this type of equipment and my first time towing anything, he offered solid guidance on using and securing my load. He's an excellent teacher, knowledgeable, and thorough. U-Haul Moving & Storage of Takoma Park benefits from his expertise and reliable customer service. The equipment was clean but worn and showed signs of wear from previous rentals.

We had heard that using the online form was better, because it would save time vs. checking in at the counter. But the online reservation was a bit unclear -- when we'd try to click that we were done, it would start the process over again. So we went to the counter instead. There was no line and we were assisted very well by the clerk who was there. The system had, in fact, received all our information, is was just not clear to us as the users. So happy with the people, not so much with the tech. The truck was great; served our purpose very well.

Tire blew out in New Mexico on a major interstate going from DC to LA. Roadside assistance did remedy the situation rather quickly. Also, I couldn’t return it to the designated place - they said they didn’t have room.. Customer service remedied quickly though.

I feel very frustrated. I rented the vehicle and when I was finished using it, I went to the gas station specifically to put $20 worth of gas and and make it the amount that I thought it was however, I was still charged and up charge of $ 82 for not putting gas in that’s awfully frustrating. I paid $ 100 extra dollars for the vehicle. That kind of sucked.

Rental process - Took over 45 mins from the time I arrived to the time I got in the truck. Cleanliness - Cab was very clean, the back of the truck was full of sand Equipment - I had paid for furniture pads and none were ever loaded on to the truck. A refund for the pads was issued but it did cause issues during our move

The young man who helped me (Anthony, I think) was very friendly and had great customer service. The location was large and easy to find and navigate. Everything was clean and in pristine condition. Two thumbs way up!

They called to deliver the unit on a different day than scheduled. They were supposed to deliver between 9:30a-11:30a. They didn’t arrive until 12:30 & Unit wasn’t delivered until 5p. Pickup was late.

My experience is in regards to my overall uBox experience versus just the Takoma Park location. UHaul told me and my moving help that the uBox would be delivered to the Chillum Rd location. Incorrect

Driver, Maurice, was awesome and very polite. One suggestion - you should get trailer hitch locks. Easy to potentially have someone come and hook up the trailer and tow away the entire box!

I rented two uboxes that were stored at my home for two months. Delivery and pick up was great, thanks to Janal. The office staff communication was the worst i have ever encountered!!!

Ubox not delivered to the facility listed in arrival confirmation email, were told it might be lost. Delivery scheduled for 12pm - delivered at 9pm after many calls. Mouse droppings were found.
