Some of your staff is extremely rude and/or high/drunk at work
TIMOTHY BI needed major assistance because I ended up needing to drop off and empty the trailer at a different location, everyone was Super helpful and helped my anxiety level for sure. Moving is a pita. Thank you!

JENNIFER SI am only able to rate U-Haul based on my experience with a single employee in Titusville. I found that the U-Haul trailer was filthy when I picked it up. In addition, the trailer had loose screws, wood chips, and oil in the bed. Once I cleaned up the mess, I felt comfortable loading my motorcycle onto the U-Haul trailer. If I had not found the loose screws, I may have had a flat tire, so I am glad that I did. I purchased a new hitch and a 2-inch ball for my vehicle. I gave the representative at the U-Haul location these parts. I also asked her if she could install the 2-inch ball for me, as I did not have a wrench that would fit. She returned to my truck and handed me a lock washer and told me it was not needed. I was definitely surprised by this. I drove the U-Haul trailer for approximately 1,400 miles. By the grace of God, during a rest area stop break and an inspection of the trailer and truck I noticed that the nut on the ball was loose and not tight. I'm relieved that I found it, as it could have come off and caused an accident.I returned the U-Haul trailer to the Eastpoint Maryland location where a professional employee received the trailer and completed the paperwork..

JAMES FI had a reservation to pick up a 5'x8' trailer for 2 days. When I arrived at the location to pick up the trailer that morning the associate there told me I was at the wrong location which I was not. After realizing his mistake, things did not improve. He then told me that they didn't have the trailer I reserved and then decided to give me a 5'x9' at an inflated price. Even after discussing this with him I still ended up paying more than my original reservation. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with U-Hauls overall service. If anything this felt like a bait and switch. Please contact me to resolve this.

zachary rCustomer service when checking out the truck was fine, but the van that I had rented was full of German cockroaches. I had to take the stuff I was moving and leave it outside so that I could go buy bug spray and make sure I didn't bring any of your cockroaches into my house. Super inconvenient and absolutely disgusting. I didn't notice them until I got out after driving two hours to where I was picking up my stuff. This was before loading anything into the van, so I'm 100% positive they were there to begin with. I'm not one to complain but cockroaches crawling all over my stuff is where I draw the line.

They gave me a gas station to return it. The place charged me extra but I filled up the truck above the line it was giving to me .not to mention being charged for using the truck and I didn't even have it for a full day Not happy. MICHAEL RI have had multiple problems with rentals and scheduling at this location and try to avoid renting from here. Once again, not only were there issues, but the management was their usual discourteous self. First, they lost my reservation. Knowing this had happened in the past, I called to confirm. When I called I discovered this happened again and made the reservation over the phone. The .99/mile rate I was quoted was changed to $1.19 on the contract and never disclosed. On top of that, the ramp for a 26' truck turned out to be VERY short, so much so that I had to use another truck and trailer to get chair racks loaded. Couldn't believe a ramp on a truck that size would be almost a 50 degree angle. If you have to rent U-Haul, rent for the 405/South Street location.

When we returned he unhitched us and we were off, no problems at all. He made it all so easy, will definitely be using this facility again even though it isn't the closest location!

JAMES SEasy drop off but requested copy of return paperwork and they said their printer was down, got receipt in e-mail but because of traveling my printer is disconnected and I always like to have a hard copy.
eva sThe person who greeted us was friendly enough. We put gas in the truck before dropping it off, making sure it read EXACTLY what it did when we picked it up. The guy asked if an email receipt was acceptable. DON'T DO IT. They charged me $20 for gas when I know 100% that there was no need for them to add any. Regardless of how tired you are, stay and get a receipt in person. Take a picture of the gas gauge when you pick up the truck and then when you drop it off. It will save you from this slight of hand. I would not have minded paying for it, IF the gas gauge was showing that I was returning it with less gas--that's why we put gas in before we dropped it off. To make sure it didn't.
ADELE RFrank did the installation of my trailer hitch and electrical harness and was very knowledgeable in the entire process. I am very happy with the installation, the professionalism, the friendly atmosphere and cleanliness of the entire building including the bay where the work was performed. The entire staff at this U-Haul branch was eager to assist me and went out of their way to help me in anyway possible. I would recommend going to this location, which is not the closest to my house but I am okay traveling the extra time for the extra effort they give to all their customers.

ROBERT LCustomer Service Rep, Frank, was obnoxiously rude. He was talking negatively about customer with another CSR in front of the customers. His attitude seemed like we were bothering him with being there, when it's his job. He was aggravated when during the walk around of truck provided it was noticed the driver side outside rear tire had a nail in it therefore we refused it. Once provide with a different truck, I made sure we were good on paperwork to make sure it showed in the system that we changed trucks, the response was "I sent you a text" in a very negative tone.
CANDY SCompany continues to erroneously charge my credit card and cannot explain why. Had to dispute with my credit card company and have a new card reissued.

STEPHEN BI feel like I was way overcharged. It said 19.99 a day for a rental. I used a 1/4 of a tank for gas and rented. Can for two days. Then I was somehow charge 255$ and it was not explained to me. I won’t be renting a U-haul again.

PATRICK Rthe facility was nice, the only issue we had was the door to enter the facility needed to be pried open due to it did not have a stop to it. It would have also been nice to be able to open a garage door instead of a small house type door to get stuff in and out. Was great for what we needed for.

It was very annoying. Thank goodness they only had one left on ground floor and I was able to get that. I am very disappointed. I have rented it from you before and I’ve never had this problem right now I don’t think I would recommend Titusville Storage. After a very long ride from New York to Florida I was in no mind to fight the people in Titusville. Very disappointing. It probably was customer service who screwed up my reservations, but I don’t care who it is I was paying and I expected to get service or at least have a reservation.

Only feedback item .... the Vanbody storage unit (retired truck beds) had a musty / moldy aroma and the rat poison trap in the unit wasn't very welcoming and gives a poor message about contents being damaged by rats and whatever might gain entrance. The lot is very tight to maneuver trucks in, it might be helpful to have staff do that to prevent damages. When returning the truck no one was at the counter to serve myself and three other customers. Check in went smoothly after the agent began helping me. You have some good attitudes there and some need work. Overall my needs were taken care of and I am a satisfied customer
dewayne b | First ImpressionsThe only thing I wasn't pleased with was I paid for my storage a month before the due date and only used it for 6 days àfter and they told me that they don't prorate so basically I lost 174.00 because I didn't need the storage anymore that is a lot of money to give away I think if the person doesn't need it for the whole month they should be able to get the difference of the days that they didn't use back especially if it was only a few days àfter the month started

Colleen H | Overall ExperienceThe main issue I had was that my due date would be on the 28th of the month and whenever I would try calling in, I'd be placed on hold for upwards of about 40-50 minutes and eventually I would have to give up. I had to wait for a representative to call me to remind me that it was past due and then ended up paying a late fee because I couldn't get through to call in. Other than that, that's the only issue I had.

The property could be cleaned up better (trash, broken glass, etc). They could pay their employees better (one time while I was there seeking assistance, there was only 2 employees. One of them walked out on the job due to understaffing stresses & not paid enough to do everything with just 2 people). Oh! And not to mention, the reason why I left this place. They kept going up on rent multiple times. One time I rent went up 2 times in about 3 months timeframe! It got stupid expensive super quick. There are much more affordable options literally everywhere else.
