JERRY HWe made an online reservation of the smallest size storage unit on Sunday May 11th during business hours to be started on the following Friday May16th. We had a trailer to pick up to bring said storage items on Thursday May 15th. When we picked up the trailer we asked for confirmation that the storage unit was still ready to go for the next day and we're told yes. We had received an email confirmation upon reservation but my husband always likes to double check. When we came into town on Friday to unload the trailer it took over 30 minutes for us to be told that they couldn't find our reservation. Brenda R (I believe that was her name was the only person I interacted with that was helpful)and was able to set us up with a 10 x 10 unit for a month free. I think that is awesome and super helpful. However, now if we need to continue the storage unit after a month we will have to pay more than we intended OR move to a different unit if there is one available. In addition to the storage unit fiasco we had an issue with our trailer reservation. We reserved the trailer at the same time online and when we went in on Thursday to pick it up we were told it was unavailable due to the lights not working. Rebecca G said she would give us a "different one and they would just have to eat the cost". I am yet to understand how this is our problem. When we left we asked if we were to return the trailer to the same location and were told yes. Then a day later were informed that we have to take it to Bettendorf. The person who called gave me new insight as to why it needed to go to Bettendorf just told me that was where it was needed to go and I would lose my 'discounted rate ' if I didnt drop it to them. I even informed that we would be arriving earlier than our drop off time by almost 24 hrs. There was no wiggle room, just a no. It wasn't until my husband dropped it off at the Bettendorf location that he was informed of a reason which we both understood as reasonable. I do apologize for raising my voice with the employees. I did not call them names. I said I didnt understand why we had to do this (repeatedly) and I was never given a reason. If a customer is asking for clarification for understanding, I would hope that an employee would be able to give that clarification. I appreciate the free month of storage but I feel like this will be the beginning of a huge headache for me and my family.

He followed me to pilot truck stop. I spent $27.00 fixing taillights on U Hauls trailer. Not very happy. Got no reimbursement from UHaul

Then I thought I needed a whole new wiring system for my hitch which would have cost over $200 but Eric discovered a connector that had eroded completely through and it only cost me $50 labor! Kudos to Eric and the UHaul team at 3616 W Kimberly in Davenport, Iowa! 5 stars from this guy!

ADAM MWas an overall great experience. A very easy process to sign up and get access. Facility is clean and secure. Key cards and access is kind of a pain having to swipe to check in then swipe to open the door again and again, but it's a fair trade for knowing my stuff is safe. The payment system is also great. The fact you can just move out on the late date of your last paid month is extremely convenient. No 30 day ahead notice or extra fees. Excellent check out/cancellation process. Handed over my card and he gave me a receipt, simple. I would recommend this place.

EDWARD LAll of the employees were very friendly and made it easy to rent and drop off the truck we rented. We also rented a storage unit that was a little too small but the staff were quick to find us a larger unit in no time. We will definitely be using this Uhaul in the future.

DELILAH FI returned vehicle hours before my deadline to the location. Pulled intonreturn area and sat with no one coming out to check me it. Returned key to employee inside the building who in all faithless was tending to a customer. Handed key over and they said I was good to go. The next afternoon, I was called by someone looking for the truck. I explained I returned it. They questioned if I went to the right place. Stupid insulting question! Check cameras and inventory before calling a customer. Asked for them to get me know this got resolved and got no follow up call. I called number, was transferred to corporate and they said it looked like all was resolved.

Tyler D | First ImpressionsI rented an appliance dolly (the one wirh ratchet straps and smaller wheels) on the website, along with the truck and other supplies. When I arrived, I was told they don't have any appliance dollies and they aren't sure why the website allows people to rent them (per the associate, they haven't had them for a long time). However, I rented one just last year. I was rather upset that I had to go to a different vendor to rent an appliance dolly. I feel like I was lied to about this, especially since it's a relatively standard moving tool for a moving company, and I've rented them there in the past. I would have rented the truck from a different location or company had I known.

DONALD ENeeds more selections of adapters for larger hitch receivers. My truck has a heavy duty receiver hitch which has a three inch tube. I had to go to camping world to find the reducer sleeves to end up with the correct size.

Shaun A | Overall ExperienceSomebody had their U-haul truck blocking the unites for over 48 hours. they had the truck back up to the unit door with boxes, tables and blankets from top to bottom on the trunk blocking between the truck and the unit door. They also had their pickup truck parked next to the building. They looked like they were living out of the truck and storage unit. This made it hard for us to access and move into our unit. The people never left their pick up truck. Someone should walk the grounds during the day or before leaving at night.

It would take a Uhaul truck to steal my stuff an no one notices. You want me to give you a good review for you utter lack of concern or security for my items. Forget it! Worst experience of my like. Happy to spread the word about the usless UHaul experience.

When we contracted the storage unit we had no idea how long we would need it as the items in storage was our 94 yr old mother’s things. She had been admitted to the hospital and we knew she could no longer live where she had been. Unfortunately, our mother passed away 3 weeks later so our need of the storage unit was no longer needed as we now knew we had to get rid of her furnishings. The staff was always helpful and we liked the setup and the storage unit as well. We definitely would recommend this location to anyone that is in need of a storage location!

I called to try and settle payment on unit and told them the stuff left in there I could not get out due to person in prision and someone was calling me back about doing it as abandoned unit never called back and I kept calling. I had been telling them this for a year and they have the worst customer service. I let them know back in January I didn't occupy the unit and the kept it open and charging me.
