Actually hook up the trailer properly. It fell off after pulling out and 1 mile down the road. Called back for help and they didn’t care and just said to call roadside. After several hours finally got on the way. And I think my truck transmission has been damaged from the incident.

When your representative is going over charges with a customer “Me” they should fully make the customer aware that the price they are being quoted or told is $100 less than what they will actually be paying when they return…!!! After seeing my emailed receipt I was shocked that my payment was $100 more than what they told me at check out and still did not go over this with me when I returned the truck…. You gave me 119 miles to move. That is exactly the distance from where I picked up the truck to where I am moving. Now I’m being charged for excess miles. All I did was take the truck to my house and to my destination. I have filed a dispute.

The app rental process requests too many add ons that customer must acknowledge and decline. These should be made available as part of a menu, not forced to decline during the rental confirmation. It’s annoying!

5x8 was marked externally with a 4x8 sticker causing a delay in departure to ensure we had the right equipment. The tires were out of balance such that the whole trailer bounced until loaded so it may have just thrown a balancing weight on one tire. Door latch was rusty to the point where I had to wash my hands every time I handled it. Location people were great, easy to work with. Whitney got us hooked up and gone quickly even though I upgraded at the last minute.

Assistant manager's professionalism and friendliness, while being personable, was absolutely phenomenal. Upon pickup, the vehicle was in excellent condition and clean. At drop-off, they were completely honest with the final cost of everything...unlike many other locations! One of the very few well run Uhaul locations!!

This is absolutely the BEST UHaul location anywhere!...You always get superior customer service here whether you just get boxes or rent a truck!..The staff here is just amazing!...My latest rental was handled by Aubrie.I could not be any happier!..I honestly thought that Chick Filet had the best customer service around BUT UHaul has them beat!....

I am Charles Pollock, I rented a 20ft. I was charged for a 26 ft because I realized the big truck was going to be too large. I was told when the manager got in they were to refund me but I have heard nothing about my refund. I was given 2 day rental which I only asked for 1 day. Moved from Charlotte to Columbia SC.

This move out date is incorrect. I kept trying to contact someone but was transferred to the corporate number. The recording said they were too many customers at the main store or the Wilkinson store so someone else would need to help. I tried to do it online and Couldn’t figure out how to do it. Anyway, y’all have record that my son Carter Frady rented a U-Haul from you at the Wilkinson store. That is when everything got emptied out of the unit. And Locke was taken off on the 16th. I could never get in contact with staff. Whenever I tried to call to close out this account on March 16 I got pushed to the main corporate number. I could never talk to a person at the Wilkinson office. Left a message with someone in the corporate office for them to have y’all call me. That was quite frustrating. I thought someone From the Wilkinson’s Office was supposed to call me. I thought the payment for this unit came out on March 7 and then everything was moved out on the 16th so I assumed there would be a partial refund. Again no one called me back and I could never get anyone.

A great experience from the first phone call to rent a unit up until checking out. I had a unit for 11 months and this location allowed me 100% unobstructed access to my door which made for very easy loading and unloading of my belongings. The staff was and is extremely helpful!! as in almost every establishment, when you hire them they are all wonderful, but as soon as you sign the contract, you become just another one, that is, it doesn't matter anymore, it was my case in this store, everything was wonderful at first, when I had my trailer broken into, they didn't even pay attention, I went to tell them at the office and the only thing they said was “call the police” they didn't even ask to see what happened, regrettable, that's why I don't recommend u-haul to friends

When I say not clean my storage unit had a small area of motor oil spilled on floor and wall. It was dry but was concerned it would get onto my things I stored. Great employees. Secure facility. You simply charge far too much gor your smallest size storage closet. $95 per month is ridiculous to me fir such a small unit. You had me for YEARS. I would have given perfect ratings but due to the fact that my camper was stolen out of a secure facility and the fact that management(including upper management for not helping the staff) did not and would not review the security footage of the theft of my trailer. 2 months after the theft and 6 days of footage still has not been reviewed. Another bad mark for customer service for lying to me(that's a whole other story). I would have to add that the intermittent blockage of my storage unit by uhaul trucks and trailers was an inconvenience at best. I will never be back nor will I ever recommend this facility to anyone! Robert

Acquiring storage was a nightmare after signed contract. Billing and problem Solving was a nightmare. Staff was not helpful until the last week I was there. They could never correct the spelling of my name. Remedial and simple customer care would make it different. The owner/manager doesn’t respond and pretends to not be available.

Christina you were NO HELP in trying to get some of my money back. I payed nearly $170.00 and used only 7 days. My unit number 1439 was filthy when in moved in to it two years ago but it was very clean when I left it. All you did while I waited more than hour is give me some dumb excuaes. My only issue was that on move out day (Fri., Sept 3), the entrance was being paved and we could not pull the semi truck in. We had to park it next door and then I had to rent a UHaul van to get my household goods from the storage unit to the truck. I feel UHaul should reimburse me the $25 for the rental as it was UHaul’s fault that our truck was unable to access the storage area. Thank you.

I'm giving you an average score because of two points. One, pricing is on the expensive side. Two, there was always rat poop on top of my boxes when I'd stop by to check on my things. Not cool. I've never had a rat problem at other storage facilities.

The storage unit i ended up using was fine, however it was not the original destination. I had a reservation for one place when I arrived they couldn't find me even though I had a confirmation number and all the information. So they had no room for me. So after and hour and a half they sent me to a further location and weren't willing to compensate me any kind of gas for the unexpected extra driving. All in all, every person I dealt with was polite but said they couldn't do anything more for me, so I found it all very frustrating. I guess I just don't understand how you can have a reservation and then have the company tell you it never existed and they can't help you, but to send you to a much further location.

My unit flooded and ruined over $5000 worth of my things. Management told me to file an insurance claim 12/30/2019. A year and a half later on 4/30/2021I was evicted for filing that insurance claim, after being there for 7 yrs. The manager christina Keaton and her husband are thrives, and are compulsive lairs and the manager herself has no business being a manager due to being unqualified,dishonesty and very poor work ethics as a person much less a manager.

One thing to fix. My card didn't work and when I came the first time, it took 30 minutes for me to finally get bk to my storage. I tried to use the pin but that didn't work. When I came back this week, I was assured the pin would work but it didn't. I had to turn around and go bk to the office to get someone to let me in. Then I had to wait again for someone to let me out. Everything else, including the helpfulness of the staff, was excellent. But the gate was aggravating.

We have been paying for a parking spot for our camper in this facility for almost a year. Majority of the time there was never any parking spots for us. There was always trailers blocking the pathways. Once We couldn’t get by it safely not back up so the camper hit the building and took the awning off costing us $2000. Management was rude and did not care. Someone also stole the battery off the camper. This past Saturday was the last straw. We tried to pull in the parking lot and there was uhaul trailers and trucks blocking the road again. Couldn’t turn down one road because someone is running a garage out of their storage unit and had the road blocked. So we had to figure out how to back up without ruining our camper again. These people are overselling parking. It’s rediculous!!
