I've rented two 9' cargo vans within a month, in order to move our two children to college. Each time the front windshield was dirty on the inside and on the outside. I would recommend cleaning them well before each rental. It shouldn't take long - there's not that much glass on those cargo vans.

on the 24 hour night return... the upload photo (to prove gas and mileage) did not work. there was no way to bypass the photo(since it didn't work) to finish returning the truck online.

I believe the suspension was in need of repair. Also Ngo with a few light that my wife said where cutting on and off going down the road . She record the truck going down the road and the reared shifting to the side by around 6 inches. The truck felt as if it was trying to walk around when cornering. Ps I drive semi trucks a living and That truck need looked at the reared bushing and springs.

Systems were down, so could not get my reservation on time. Had to go back home and hope things would work out OK. Staff was very helpful once systems were back up.

I was having problems with the rear lights on the trailer. The Uhaul agent went out of her way to diagnose and fix the problem( a blown fuse). Didn't take her 5 minutes. My original reservation was at Gastonia location 3919 E Franklin blvd and after an hour there and no help from anyone there I cancelled the reservation and drove to the Charlotte location. The Gastonia location needs better management and oversight!!

Was trying to find out where to return truck and 24 hr app did not provide. Headed towards town where I was told to bring it during reservation phone call and called U-Haul # to be sure and was again on hold for more than 20 minutes only to be sent to different town to return truck

There were some mechanical quirks with the truck. No check engine lights or anything. At one point, it sounded like the engine was flooding out or not getting enough gas, and was cruising at 45 when the engine rpms shot up to 5k. Transmission didn't drop a gear or change gear. Engine just surged. It only done it once.

I am a long-time customer of this location on Wilkinson Boulevard. I always like their service they always have what I need. They mentioned that there is a U-Haul place it close down down the street and they got all of their product. I mentioned to them because I like them and their location that if they need me to drop the trailer off at a Nother location I would be more than happy to help them. So they called there General manager to see if that would be possible. Later on that day I got a email and phone call with another location and an address. I return the vehicle back to the other address. They were very nice and cordial there too. The unit was not transferred over into their inventory so I helped her with that . And I checked my bank account and I was charged twice for this unit. Later the next day I received a call from the general manager asking how everything went I explain the problem with being charged twice and how I did them a favor. She told me that she will handle it give it a few days for it to clear My bank account.
