Not muxh... this location, and Johnnie Walker in this experience, has always performed well above my expections after multiple U-Haul rentals in multiple states. The location of this facility is most convenient, and the staff have been, for the most part, welcoming and proficient.

Pengmany CChecking/Checkout person was absolutely horrible. He threatened to charge me an extra $20 because I wouldn't wait a half hour for him to tell me where he wanted the trailer. I was to drop off after hours originally. I went and asked where he wanted me to put the trailer. He had no customers at all and said I will be with you in a few. It proceeded to be more than a few. I dropped the trailer right beside where someone else dropped it. Then I tried to tell him that multiple times and he seemed to ignore me so I left. Then I receive a harassing and threatening phone call from him. So unprofessional. Never had such an unprofessional experience at any other locations. Not very good quality employees you have at this location.

CLIFFORD DI was asked by U-Haul to bring a trailer from Frederick, Maryland to Lancaster PA. I agreed on the condition that I drop the trailer off at the same location. I drop the truck off. When I called the drop off location, they told me I could not drop the trailer off at that location. That was a big inconvenience. When I finally dropped the truck off after hours, and following the instructions on the orange dropbox, I was unable to return the truck to that location. I left the truck and keys there anyhow, and left a message for them to call me. The $75 credit that I received for hauling the trailer was not worth it at all.

JOHANNA CMore help behind the counter. There was a long line of people waiting and only one person behind the counter. This was Saturday morning 4/19/25 at 8am. The person behind the counter was great, but needed help.
John Bwhen I got to my destination, I discovered that 2 of the tires only had 15psi in them. The tires where already almost bald so I definitely concerned about getting a flat tire on my travel. Other then that, the trailer served me well
MARK PStaff was great. Easy in and out.
Andrew RI returned the trailer I rented after hour and couldn't disable my adapter because it was too tight. I left the area to get it some other day. That was Saturday evening. I called on Monday morning to retrack my belonging. The person on the phone could not retract my belonging.

Mirna AThe customer service person who checked me in was very friendly and extremely helpful.
TIMOTHY QThe company was supposed to call me back after I had requested something the day before my move. The woman on the other home was quite snippy with me. They never called me back and then overcharged me when I went in to pickup the Uhaul. As for the truck itself- The back of the truck was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been swept out. There were mud marks and scrapes all through the box’s walls and the upholstery/ plastic in the cab was shredded in some places. We drove through a 2 day winter storm and the heater barely kept up with the cold. The windows were extremely drafty that we had to purchase blankets to keep warm on the drive but the floor was burning hot. It was quite an unpleasant cross country drive!

DONNA BThe interior of the van reeked of odor. I had to roll down the driver side window while driving because of the smell of body odor. The fabric on the seats was extremely dirty and the interior in general looked like it had never been cleaned.

ANDREW BThis place is horrible. The truck they gave me looked like it been thru a war. Then I had to ask the employee to mark all the spots that were damaged on the truck so I’m not blamed for it. Not to mention the time before that I rented a truck I was charged for something I didn’t do and was told that I should’ve paid the extra $15 for insurance. Unprofessional

JENNIFER FSite location was very tight, congested, and entry lanes too narrow making it unsafe. customer service was slow by having one staff member only, but staff was friendly. The truck simply unacceptable, and while somewhat clean, it was OLD, rattling, and unpleasant to drive. NO power windows, or power mirrors. windshield was dirty, fluids did not clean the glass, basically this is the last time I use Uhaul.

SISAVATH HEverything went really well accept they tried to tell me that I didn’t have a reservation when I first got there so I had to show him my phone and then he got it. Things are stressful when you are moving that much stuff and someone saying that you didn’t reserve a U-Haul and you did can make it worse. Other then that though very good service.
JASON SNot the fault of this location, but we were distressed to learn at the last moment that scheduling had changed the original drop-off point from downtown Lancaster to this neighboring town, several miles farther from our home. Besides, the drop-off people had no knowledge of the fact that we had agreed with a UHaul agent to tow a large trailer behind our rented truck from Virginia to Pennsylvania, with a promise to credit our account $75 for that. We worried that UHaul was going to ignore that promise, as the on-line account gave no evidence of it....But to our pleasant surprise, a day later UHaul sends a note saying they will increase our compensation from $75 to $100, which will show up shortly on our account. They have restored our confidence in UHaul.
Ray HThe box leaked around the cab. It had some ice in it when we got it and then during heavy rain it took on quite a bit of water.
