They gave me a 15-ft truck one way to Albany Oregon it had a manifold horrible exhaust leak people were laughing and staring at me when I was driving it cuz it sounded like a horrible piece of junk coming down the road and I've been a truck driver for 25 years and I work on a vehicles on the side when I was younger and 56 now what an embarrassment and I lost movers they were supposed to help me I am so pissed off and they ended up taking more money from me saying that the truck wasn't returned the same day I rented it and returned it almost 40 minutes before it was due and the place where I returned it didn't open up till 9:00 a.m. I had it back at 8:26 a.m. it wasn't supposed to be back till almost 9:00 wouldn't recommend it all unless you want to get ripped off for 240 bucks for a joke and embarrassment and losing over $700 and movers you paid for

The staff was to busy chatting with each other to help. I was told you didnt have the equipment I needed only to walk past it on my way out and see it available online. I walked back into the store and it was clear the employee didnt listened to what I needed the first time. It wasted my time by 10-15 minutes.

Customer parking is a problem. There is insufficient space for customer parking, and when we were parked in the available space we had to move the vehicle while waiting in line, causing me to lose my place in line. In addition the staging was insufficient for the volunteer of customers resulting in long a long wait.

every time I have come to this location, a team member is VERY quick to run out and tell me where I cannot park but it takes FOREVER to actually get someone to actually assist with a rental. This time when I actually finally spoke to someone about my rental, they seemed to have no idea what they were doing.

When I dropped off the trailer Friday 04/25/25 approximately 4:00 PM the receiving crew were all busy checking in returned vans and there was a bit of a backup. One associate came up to my passenger window and said he would unhitch my trailer and move it out from behind my pickup truck. Once he did, I asked specifically if I needed to go in the store and complete the paperwork. He said no, I will get the trailer checked in. He then said you can back up and exit out the entrance since we have all the jamb up. I said, OK & Thank you very much. I did receive a call Saturday asking why my trailer had not been returned as the contract stated. I let her know the above and she said she would verify and apologized for the the trailer not getting checked in appropriately.

Don’t send them to the Cedar Hills location only to find out the TV Highway, which told me had no available trucks when I ordered one, ended up being the place to go. Also, the guy that helped us on pickup said I would get a refund for gas purchased over what the truck should at time of pickup. That didn’t happen and I received a phone call after dropping off the truck saying I didn’t leave the keys. Well I handed the keys to the same guy that checked us out that morning on return.

The sun was setting and the shadows were making it difficult for me to see what I was doing backing the trailer into its spot. The gentlemen allowed me to stop well short of the spot and they manually maneuvered it. I was running behind to make it to my granddaughters play, and them helping me with that, got me back on the road and I made it to the play in time! 🥳

Aside from interactions with Kerry, who I only was able to speak to over the phone, the location was awful. Parking the truck was a nightmare, customer service was a nightmare and the truck was loud and sounded poorly maintained. It was not fully clean when we picked it up Kerry was phenomenal and I hope he can not be responsible for the performance of this store and staff. The location itself is awful.

Sunday, 3/30/2025, in the morning, I received the truck after being assured it was ready and good to go. An hour later I drove to a different location to pick up the trailer. Before leaving, the U-Haul worker told me the back left side tire was low on air, but if I fill it up, I'll have no problems. There was also no spare tire. The next day on the road to Oregon, it began to rain as soon as I reached the AZ/CA border. This led me to turn on the windshield wipers for the first time, instantly recognizing they weren't hooked on correctly. The wipers ended up hitting each other and the driver's side one flew off almost immediately. Minutes into the rain starting, the driver's side ceiling began leaking water onto me and the dashboard. The rain did not let up from that point on and I was forced to wear a raincoat my entire drive due to the leak. First time stopping for gas, I noticed that the trailer tire was almost flat. From that point on, every time I stopped for gas I also had to stop for air, which was incredibly time consuming and stressful because not every gas station has air available. I switched the passenger side wiper to the driver's side so that I could continue on. In doing so I found out the passenger door itself was jammed shut. After pushing open the door it would not close again after that. Forcing me to tie a rope from the outside door handle to the inside seat belt buckle to hold the door closed. This only worked minimally, the door was banging open and closed the entire trip. The noise was unbearable. Also 4 times during the drive, because of the leak, the water had reached the light switch completely turning off all of my lights while driving. This only lasted 4-5 seconds but I thought I was either going to die or get someone else killed. At that point I was considering calling to get a new truck, but it was still raining and the truck was completely full so I didn't have that option. Thankfully I reached my destination. The drop off location was SW Tualatin Valley HWY, I asked to speak to a manager to tell her my complaint and she was not there. They told me that the manager will 100% call me and talk to me about the situation which has yet to happen. I've begun speaking to my lawyer and we are currently deciding on our next legal step in this situation.

When I arrived, I was planned to have a 15' truck. After paperwork and signing i was given a different truck last minute without any update on the app. When I tried to take pictures to upload to the app, it said I had the wrong vehicle so I couldn't proceed. I went inside and told them the situation and they couldn't fix it either. So I was unable to update an information. On top of that, I had a tire that was flat. It was at 23 psi when the max was 90 psi. The odometer on the map wouldn't let me updated the Actual miles on the dashboard. I took pictures of everything and wasted over an hour dealing with it. After all this, I was just told to take pictures and forget the app.

Staff manning the front desk was neither attentive nor the least bit concerned when I attempted to report an issues of leakage with their truck. We ended up dealing with a significant leak in the bed of our 20' truck that lead to water flowing into two mattress bags, saturating the side that was on the truck floor and then wicking up into the body of both mattresses. Of course it's raining, cuz this is Oregon. We had no ability to try to air/sun dry our mattresses after pulling into our new location very late. Making for a very rough & sleepless night. We had to scramble to unload the first 3rd to half of the truck at midnight, due to several saturated box bottoms, stopping to unpack each box to assess damages and ensure that our belongings were not destroyed or water damaged. We were not able to call it a night until 3am, and then found ourselves sleeping on the floor, due to the wet mattresses. This significantly delayed the process of unloading, which is typically the easiest part of a move. Then we were forced to pay for an additional day, just to have the truck for a few extra hours to finish the process. The associate over the phone told us it would be $40 for the extra "day" but in reality we were charged $55 because Smart Move (insurance for the equipment) was part of the original contract (which was never mentioned). When we returned the truck, the associate at the counter was indifferent and downright rude, informing me that if we had an issue we could call the general manager the next day, when I tried to implore him to please make sure the bed of the truck was thoroughly inspected and the leak site found before renting the truck out again. Even when I explained that I hated to think of anyone else having to go through what we went through. Crazy to me that customer service has devolved to this extreme & seems to be a an outdated practice. Your job is done for you at the pick-up and then again at the drop-off but it's too much for you to listen & behave in a compassionate & professional manner when you're being told by a paying customer that your equipment is faulty and poses a significant risk of a substantial claim? What is wrong here???

Dirty truck, had to sweep it out myself before I could actually use it. Clerks were on their phones, barely responsive, clerks were making fun of customers, charged me for gas when i brought the truck back with MORE fuel than I left with. Absolutely livid. NEVER using uhaul again.

Make sure the people working there know what they are doing. When I was checking myself in I was told to go directly to the counter and get the keys. It took almost 10 minuets for them to find and locate my keys. Then when returning my van I was just told to leave the keys in the van and I’d be good to go. They didn’t know about the pictures I needed to take or fill out before I could checkout and complete my return

Just extremely busy location so sometimes the line gets long and the wait can be awhile. I did have an issue with my own car; a flat tire after I dropped off the rental van. Cameron, an employee at this location, went out of his way to help me. Thank you Cameron! I do appreciate that you have a large inventory and I always can get a rental when needed!

Staff is not helpful , especially Brad he is extremely rude unwilling to help or explain things . Sales would increase without him at your counter . I watched 3 missed sales just because of his attitude.. I wanted to purchase some straps but I only had cash I explained twice the rental could be on my card but I didn’t have enough for both . Brad told me he wouldn’t take cash and I needed to leave and go add it to my card . 20 min later when I returned another employee said to a customer we can take cash for those or card . I questioned the cash as I was just told I could not use cash . Brad then got frustrated and had an even worse demeanor and attitude and stated I can take cash now and was extremely rude the entire experience. Overall it was an extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory experience. My receipt doesn’t list the name in case he gave me the wrong name , it’s the older gentleman with a pony tail and wrist brace I’m referring to.

Your detail guy told us to park on the green curb when there was no space we went into your place and the detail guy freaked out and yelled at us said we couldn’t park where I dropped my father off in your Beaverton location as a paying customer I will drop my father off where I please I was out of the way wasn’t staying long but the guy was rude I’ve used this U-Haul before and never had this issue tell this time we will still be a customer but we will ignore anything that guy says to us being how rude he was

Though I was absolutely happy with the staff and service, the long wait time to get from start to finish of service, coupled with the $100 1-day/mileage costs, I didn't feel like this was an economical choice, money-wise. The "menu" at the location said the truck rental for 10' was $19.99/day. Though I did opt to purchase a "rental insurance" policy for an additional $15, i felt like the company was trying to nickel-and-dime me for added monetary amounts. Upsetting. The small storage locker/unit i chose to rent was a great "free 30-day" value, but then the cost jumps to $125/month, which is an unreasonable amount each month when other storage facilities have comparable units for less. For these reasons, I feel like my experience was only 'average', and not exceeding to excellent or above average.

uhaul is a company that makes majority of its earnings off its extra fees, was quoted like 19 for my truck and was significantly more. i don't feel like uhaul is a brand represented by any kind of authenticity, my experience was really strange and so was the service. guy behind counter just trying way too hard to be friendly that it comes off bizarre, so many things needed of me that weren't told to me on the phone when i asked, just a nuisance. i wouldn't come here again, corporate entities kill the soul and uhaul is greedy to say the least. also please pay your workers more because they all look like they're crying for help

There was an indication that after-hours access was available at UHaul locations but it seems that at Beaverton this was never the case during the time I had a storage unit there. It would have been really nice to be able to access my storage unit after hours. I hope that for future customers this feature can be restored at some point.

Using the Online mobile app was difficult because of the communication issues. Setting wrong locations for drop off, and other small inconveniences that made my experience not so good! Resulting in costing me more money in the process due to the lack of communication. I will no longer be using U-haul in the future.

I recently had a frustrating experience with this U-Haul location, particularly regarding access to my storage unit on a main aisle. Here are the issues I encountered: Parking Difficulties: Parking at this facility is incredibly challenging. There isn't enough customer parking up front, and on multiple occasions, I had to park three blocks away. This added considerable time to my trips and made the whole process much more stressful. Blocked Access to Unit: Accessing my storage unit often required exiting the facility and re-entering through the main store. This was because a U-Haul truck frequently blocked my unit, and I needed assistance to move it. I had to wait in line inside the store to get help, further delaying my plans. Unresponsive Employees: The employees at this location were generally unresponsive. On several occasions, I struggled to get the help I needed. This added to the frustration and length of each visit. Unresponsive Phone Line: Calling this location for assistance was not an option. The phone line always auto-forwarded to a call center, which was unable to address my immediate needs. This meant I had to physically drive to the facility, exit, and re-enter multiple times just to get help. Special Hours Access Confusion: The special hours access beyond 7 pm was not clearly communicated in the U-Haul app. I was unaware that I needed to pay extra for this service, which caused additional planning stress and limited my access. Inaccessible Exit Door: On my last few days of accessing the unit, the exit door was not clearly labeled as inaccessible due to fresh concrete being laid. There was no signage to indicate this, nor was it clear how to exit through the entrance, which is frequently trafficked by returning U-Haul trucks. This created a confusing and potentially hazardous situation. Overall, my experience with this U-Haul location was disappointing. The combination of difficult parking, obstructed access, unresponsive employees, unhelpful phone service, unclear special hours policies, and poorly managed exit routes made using this facility far more cumbersome than it should have been. I hope management can address these issues to improve the experience for future customers.

I came to get a storage unit. When I arrived the guy working outside just stared at me as I looked for a place to park. He waited until I shut down, and was walking inside before he told me I had parked in the wrong spot and had to go move. He couldn't be bothered to walk over to me and direct me as I drove up. Only one person working the desk, less than ideal, lots of people waiting. After getting my storage unit, and being told explicitly "you must swipe in and out every time going through the gate" On my way out, That same outside worker had just opened the gate and told me to leave without swiping out. I said "The other guy, and that sign above your head both say I HAVE to swipe in and out every time" He rolled his eyes at me and walked away. Not sure if he was ignorant or malicious.

To be yelled at and acosted by the workers is not what I would consider a good experience. On numerous occasions over the past few years there have been some select employees outside that have almost downright started physical confrontations, after yelling at both my wife and me - treating us as if we are idiots and we're doing something wrong by accessing our roll-up storage unit. Your team may struggle with issues with other tenants, But that does not mean you need to take out your aggression on every other good, well-paying tenant, who use storage services that they pay for as intended. How your fleet management interferes with access to the storage is unacceptable, and not a reason to bark orders at people trying to go about their day. The staff inside at the counter are always reasonably pleasant, and are at a complete opposite to the staff outside running around yelling at people. We have avoided going to the storage unit for months at a time specifically because we dread interaction with this outside staff. Also, shuffling rental vehicles in the storage area might be necessary for THIS location, however there are a lot of other locations without this fleet congestion. Many other companies that offer storage only. Demanding that a tenant move their vehicle while they are actively accessing their storage unit is unacceptable. Especially when fleet vehicles are blocking the roadway and many roll-up units - get the keys and move vehicles yourself! It's not the responsibility of the paying storage customer to help do do the job of a disorganized rental fleet. I have made several complaints to the interior staff, one of whom I believe was a manager. No changes were made for at least a year following. I sincerely hope that changes have been made since then, But this is absolutely an unacceptable way to conduct business.

We rented a truck to move to Beaverton, and the package included a month's free storage. We were assigned one unit, but when we got to Beaverton, they gave us a different unit. Then we were billed for the month that was supposed to be free. When we brought this to the manager's attention, we received a refund for that month. As for lighting, there does not appear to be any light inside the unit, and it is a bit difficult to read labels on boxes stacked at the back of the unit. Staff were not always friendly, and made promises they didn't keep (we'll help you with that... sorry, too busy).

Overall, U-Haul is good to use but they faculty the people that they have working for them are not friendly. Have you standing there while they carry on conversations about what they doing? Plenty of times I went to put things in my storage couldn’t get into it had to walk back-and-forth to the office. Was there a one hour and 30 minutes I couldn’t get into my storage they need new people that know how to deal with customer service I had one storages one for eight years. 2020. I got another storage and kept that for three years. I just couldn’t take the rudeness no more and disrespect. I rent a truck from them several times to move the Philadelphia to move to Florida to move to Augusta to move to San Antonio. Also, I use the U Pack

I recently had the experience of a renter not wanting to move out of my house. When they did leave, they left most of their things behind—we packed 7 seventeen foot truck loads of stuff to take to 2 large storage units until it could be sorted and sent to Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill and the rest to the dump. Without Uhaul, I don’t know how it could have been coordinated and for a reasonable price. Thank you Uhaul!

Price is a bit high. There is no light in the storage unit. (Our previous unit with another company in California had a light in it.) Also, I had a unit reserved with my truck rental, but when my wife went in, they gave her a different unit and seemed unaware of the reservation I made online. Another thing, my wife and I both got keys to the unit, but they only gave us one access card to get into the area where the storage units are.

The person that set up my rental for the unit was very rude, the next time my mother in law went to pay they were rude to her, and to me onbthe phone. Rather than ask if she wanted her change they decided to automatically put it towards the next month. I told them no give the change. They got irritated because they had to open a cash drawer. Was there Sat and Sunday. Both days I was met by Jose in the drop off area. He was extremely rude and disrespectful both times. He interrupted and was dismissive of my unusual situation and problems. David outside was just the opposite. David was kind, a good listener, smart, and solved my problems. Brad on the inside was also excellent. However, Jose’s rudeness and uncaring behavior is a showstopper particularly after driving almost 1,000 miles in a uhaul truck with mechanical issues. While I was inside doing the paperwork for my storage room with Brad, another gentleman came in and insulted the manager about staffing. The Experience was unpleasant and unprofessional. I’ve been using Uhaul for over 50 years and this is the first time I’ve had a vehicle with mechanical problems or a problem with rude people.thanks

I have rented storage unit for couple years and never had issues with anything, when I lost my wallet and my access card was in it, they were super helpful and understanding that I was out of access to my money till replacement bank cards arrived and they replaced my access card so I can get in unit, free of charge. I wasn’t even able to access my unit yesterday because the hours that were on literally everything said they were 5 am - 10 pm. We got there to find out that no, that’s not when they close and that it’s actually 7am-7pm M-F 9am-5pm Sunday The only indication of those hours were in the office hours but every piece of communication I received while booking said that office hours and self storage hours were different. The employees including the manager basically told us that that’s the way things have been for over a year and shrugged us off. I don’t understand how that can be the way the business has been operations for over a year but none of the online communications have been updated to reflect this. This is ridiculous and complete unacceptable. I will be making sure that we don’t need this unit more than one month so that you never get another penny out me for the way I’ve been treated.

Storage units were listed as 5x5, they do not meet these dimensions and I was unable to store the small amount of stuff I needed to. When this was brought up with the employees no one knew what they could do assist and make the situation better. I went in and complained about unit size being wrong and they were surprised I measured (unit exact usable space was 4'x4'6" barely large enough to put my storage rack in and not at all big enough for the totes I needed to store). All around the facilities are okay, the door latches and doors are weak wooden doors (for interior units) and never felt fully secure. Employees wouldn't even give me a single free box to attempt to make the situation better. Moved out of my unit within a week and had to pay to get an entirely new unit elsewhere as the access hours are minimal, and the staff is very unknowledgeable about how the business runs.

Staff changed my access code for zero reason. That's customer abuse. I refuse to wait in line for an hour without getting reimbursed for my time. The manager doesn't care about filling the soap in the bathroom in the back of the storage lot, even during the plandemic. Too cheap to provide soap for us. Doesn't even empty the garbage bins in the bathroom. There's nails all over the road, I have to repair my tire once every couple of months because of this. The hours are awful, this is not what I signed up for and not what I paid for. I only get about an hour after work to access my stuff now. And the host spigots are now off limits, even though I was told years ago that was part of what I was paying for. U-Haul just keeps making it worse and worse for their customers.

General bad attitude from the management. My worst experience here was when I was moving my things out. The maintenance staff had blown dirt and dust into my unit and coated all of my belongings with filth. I now have to manually clean all of my belongings before moving them into my new house. When I brought this up with the management, they were dismissive (even though it was their fault) and told me to file a claim with the insurance company. I will do this because it appears to be the only way for it to be made right. Overall an abysmal experience and I will never recommend this place to anyone. I have tried to resolve this prior to writing this feedback. The assistant manager had told me I would get a call from the manager within 3 business days and I still have not received a call.

First, thanks for having storage. I don't mean to knock on people. But I'm being asked how it went, so here's the answer... It took me over an hour to get my storage unit. First I had a lengthy wait in line. Staff were clearly very stressed and overworked. When I got checked in, the person at the counter did not seem to know much about the storage units. I was asked to fill out a form that could have been done much faster and more reliably online. I was assigned a storage unit and sold a disc lock. It took about 10 minutes to get my access code to work. When I got to my unit, it had a padlock on it, so I had to run back to the clerk and get it taken off. Then I found that my padlock did not fit into the hasp, which was different from most of the other units that DID have disc locks. I again had to go back inside, stand in line for another 10-15 minutes, and wait to be seen by someone again. This meant reassigning me to a different storage unit, since the one I was in had an older style of hasp that couldn't accept a disc lock. It was a good thing I went back in too, because apparently the first guy didn't take a picture of the form with my license, so we had to get out the paperwork and ID again. And he didn't ring me up for the disc lock, so we had to redo that whole transaction. Extensive signage around the facility says to ask about extended access. I asked. The guy I was talking to didn't know, so he asked another dude who started laughing and said we won't be seeing extended access again anytime soon with all the theft taking place around here. I was frustrated, because currently access hours are restricted to 7am to 7pm. I understand business is very challenging, staffing is hard right now and crime really is an issue especially being so close to a MAX station, so I don't want to sound like I'm beating up on people here. I'm glad to have a storage place. But those are the issues I ran into. The whole thing could have been done more efficiently, saving everyone a lot of time. Also, the signage referring to 24 hour access should be changed, removed or covered -- I did not discover extended access had been completely revoked until I was well into the process.

Entire staff was rude and Lacked customer service skills. One employee in particular had a very bad attitude and was yelling at me and giving me dirty looks even days after. He always seems to be working out in the yard and was wearing a hat mustache and has darker skin. I reserved the outdoor biggest space specifically and received a confirmation that my reservation was made. When I arrive to my storage reservation with a fully packed 16 foot moving truck, I was informed that they only had the smallest unit available and that there was nothing I can’t do. I spent $3,000 with Uhaul and I had to find other means to store half the remains of my belongings elsewhere. Thumbs down, the most terrible experience I have ever had as a customer at any business. I asked to speak with the general manager a few different days and no response. Suited.

The staff has to blow the dust dirt and grime and gravel off the main drive through areas to get to my (previous) outside storage. These drive through areas dip in the middle to allow rainwater to go down the several drains. The staff blows from the lower center of the the drive through areas only thus blowing all the dust dirt and grit up to the entrances of the outside storage areas! I was always sweeping the dirt away from my storage entrance back down to the low center of the drain areas. Also the dirt and dust got under the entrance door that rolls up....carrying dirt and grit with it! I had to sweep the door off at the bottom and just inside the door ...esp. the sides where the dirt came in. Otherwise it was a great place, great staff and clean bathrooms!

My total experience with U-Haul the other day was horrible the worst service I've ever had in my life I had to fill out paperwork five different times at four different facilities and to get the U-Haul every time I talk to anybody in customer service there wasn't a single person that said the same thing they all counterdicted each other they all said yeah that person doesn't know what they're talking about one of the people at the front desk said you can't trust or believe anybody in this business nobody knows what they're talking about she actually told me that as far as the storage unit it was good that was all good the manager took care of me there but for the rental of the U-Haul it was horrible

Most of your staff was amazing. The two i dealt with last week were so horrible i cancelled and moved out. They wouldn't let me into my unit. Took two hours for them to let me in. Incredibly rude. Locked my wife out with her car still locked in the gate and refused to let her back in until a manager got involved. Apparently they entered the paperwork wrong into the computer and refused entry to my wife. Which is fine but let her have her car back at least. Your airway heights location is amazing. But this one is absolutely horrible.

Employees not knowledgeable about how to make sure customers can have gate access. Another employee yelling at me and blaring horn for blocking road when the uhauls at the center were the reason no one could get through. Continued to blare horn at me even though he could clearly see me moving my vehicle. I tried to apologize and he told me he would be going to the office to report me as NOT eligible to rent my storage unit at the facility for causing problems by blocking the drive lane. I wouldn't have been blocking the drive through lane if the uhaul vehicles were not parked everywhere. My storage unit is a drive up unit I should have been able to unload where I was. And the moment I realized he was honking at me I moved and apologized immediately his rude, unfriendly and unprofessional behavior I will not be recommending this facility to anyone.

Was yelled at and cussed at when I first pulled in, simply trying to ask where I can park my car. Then had to wait 30+ minutes for my online reservation to be found and taken care of. Bob, who was helping me, didn’t seem to mind helping everyone else but me. Honestly if I didn’t have all of my belongings with me and ready to store, I would’ve gone someplace else. Total garbage customer service, generally unhelpful and now we’ll educated staff makes the process harder than pulling teeth. Seriously, fix your stuff U-Haul

We found rodent droppings and urine on our items and the management weren't co-operative at all when we told them. We have a claim in and thank God I got insurance policy because they are being helpful , upper management and the claims department NOT the U-Haul location management. I will never rent from U-Haul again. Next time I am doing use storage pods if I have to store things again. I lost thousands of dollars in furniture and house items.

Reservations mean nothing and the customer service was some of the poorest we’ve ever experienced at any business. Ahead of our out-of-state move, we made a reservation at this location for two large storage units. We received email notification that those units had been reserved for us. However, when we arrived at this location to sign documents and unload our two enormous moving trucks - with a moving crew we were paying for - we were met with a rude awakening. The guy at the counter was overly chatty and slow as molasses. It took him half an hour to get to the part where he let us know they only had one large unit available for us, despite our reservation for two. We were dumbfounded. Instead of finding a reasonable solution, the counter person told us that making a reservation online doesn’t actually mean they have anything available. Not an acceptable answer when we’ve traveled multiple states and have been counting on the product we reserved with the confirmation we’d received. When a manager was finally brought over to review the situation he confirmed that they did not have the two units we reserved, only one. Furthermore, he adjusted our price to remove, yes REMOVE, promotional discounts that we had received online. When asked if they could make a deal for multiple smaller units to make up for the lack of unit that was reserved, we were told that was not possible. We would have to pay full price for each and every unit, with no promotions provided. This all happened while the manager and employee knew I was on the phone with their competitor, who is literally a mile and a half straight down the same road, to check on availability of the same sized units we had reserved through U-Haul. Rather than make any effort to keep our business or pretend they cared about our time, money or the predicament we’d been put in, they nonchalantly as if we “just want to cancel.” This location did not deliver on any level of professionalism. Moreover, this whole process wasted our time and money with the moving crew we’d employed, who stood idle while the U-Haul team pecked at the computer keys and stared blankly at the screen and whom we had to pay for the wasted time at U-Haul and the drive to the new location. Terrible experience.

We rented a climate-controlled unit here for several years and encountered no problems. Staff was helpful, and automated check-in/check-out worked well. We have only one minor complaint: some trash (coffee cups) accumulated near our unit (which was right next to one of the doors). We disposed of it ourselves, but this seems like something the staff should be checking on.

Do not store your belongings here. There is a very rude employee that drives at very fast speeds through there with large uhaul trucks and honks at anyone parked there even though there are no parking spots he expects you to get out of his way. Hes going to run someone over! He was alsorude to me in the store parking lot in front and forced me to park at a private business across the street that clearly has signs that say "No parking violators will be towed". I also waited in line in the store for about an hour just to check in only to have the guy that was helping me start helping someone else before he handed me the keys. He then told me to wait. I waited for him to finish. Meanwhile the everyone else that was behind me in line was helped by the next available employee. Then they promised to waive a day off the truck rental for breakdown but didn't and did not put any notes so customer service is refusing to adjust the bill stating that there isn't any notes. How is that my fault? On top of all this the truck was not ready and we spent an hour and half on hold trying to locate one then had to drive another hour and half to go pick it up. They were supposed to call the day before to let us know all this but they didn't. I will never use uhaul again.

The fact that they park unrented vehicles in front of the storage units and that you have to wait a long time for them to move vehicles in order for you have access to your rental is a huge INCONVENIENCE. On top of that I had to wait about 20 minutes while they hooked up a trailer before I could exit the property. The parking is a MESS!

I requested a move out on April first. I received an email stating my rent would increase and responded stating I would not be paying as I had already requested a move out. I then called U-Haul's customer service line and they said that they were going to have somebody be submitting my move out request and have it be processed. Then finally on May 14th someone called me and noticed my padlock was gone and my door was open on my storage unit and wanted to know if I had done that intentionally. I said yes I've been wanting to move out of this unit for over a month. Thankfully at that point Sherry was great and has processed my move out.

I rented a truck and a storage unit at the same time/location. The gentleman at the counter could not have been any more helpful and courteous. When I went out to the lot to get my truck a Hispanic gentleman asked me for my contract. I gave him ALL of the paperwork I had received from the gentleman at the counter. The Hispanic gentleman then got upset and threw all of my paperwork in the trash. I had to dig thru the trash to recover my rental contract and the location/number of my storage unit. The behavior of the Hispanic gentleman ruined an otherwise very positive rental experience. I've never before been treated with such hate and disrespect.

Storage was okay, check out was ridiculous. Despite doing everything correctly, it took 16 days, multiple live chats with uhaul, several phone calls, and finally traveling to the site itself to complete the process. Multiple messages to the manager weren’t returned, even when the request for callbacks were made by uhaul themselves. Horrible experience.

I rated average because I requested a 10x10x10 and the unit I was rented has a lower head clearance with roll up door cylinder just inside entrance. The unit is actually 10x9. I had 3 standard pallets to load in to be pickup later and can not be stacked to 6'4" ready to go in storage unit. Disappointed and will have to repack in driveway at time of pickup.

The staff is AMAZING, and they give great service. I was upset that I was charged a late fee of $23.99, not knowing that I had to pay right on time. I'd like that to be refunded. The owner Bob was very helpful. We had a very rough move from Phoenix with equipment issues and changes that no one could control. I was very upset at the situation and was rude to say the least. only issue I had. I had waited 30 minutes in line to get a truck and rentva unit. The guy stated I could fill out paperwork when I returned truck. I assumed my storage unit was in the system, so upon my return I could place my items in unit. I was not given my code, upon return I had to wait another 20 minutes in line to finish getting the unit, in which was never put in system upon my first visit and the unit was not placed on hold and was unavailable. The second time waiting in line was my issue.

I really liked that I could rent via mobile device and after hours, since the move was unplanned. However, I was supposed to receive the first month free with the rental of a vehicle. There was no way to apply the free month via online. There is no way to contact the storage office directly (I must call and wait on hold from 20 min to 1hr+) and have yet to receive assistance with this 3 weeks after the move-in. Also, the access wasn't clear, and we we're locked out of the facility after hours the first time we arrived (because 2 vehicles entered using our code, which "logged us out"). We had to call an after hours line, leave a message, and wait 30 min for someone to show up only to tell us that we could have walked outside the gate and enabled our code again. If there was a usable FAQ or chat feature, and if I could actually reach a human at the rental location, this would be much better.

I dropped a rental truck at this location as well as renting a storage unit. The process with the storage unit went well and there were no issues. I however have an issue with the rental return. I picked up a 15 foot truck in Medford Oregon on Saturday June 27th. When I picked up the truck it was very low on gas and I asked the attendance what is the process for fueling. I was told to return the truck with the same amount of gas as when I picked it up. I returned the truck with the exact amount of gas to the Beaverton location but then last night got a bill for $54 in fuel charges. I called the store and was told they will look into it. I am not sure why I was charged for fuel when I returned it exactly the same amount of fuel as I picked it up with. I think this is taking advantage of customers and a sneaky way to get some additional money from the customer. I will certainly dispute this charge if a credit is not give to my account. This is no way to treat a customer.

The staff were very loud so it was hard to hear to process my reservation. Besides that, my reservation was lost and had to be created which took much longer than expected. The paperwork there is duplicative and wasteful. Why can't the storage contract be emailed? Why did I have to fill out my insurance information twice? These seem to be mostly systemic issues and not the fault of the particular location.

I was told the gentleman was going to put a lock on my empty storage unit and then I could leave. Staff is always very helpful and professional. Occasionally the outside staff is a little disorganized and lack communication skills. But overall I’m very happy with my experience.
