Customer service was really poor! The manager was far from friendly and helpful. Imagine how stressful moving is already. Then the manager calls you, 4 hours after you returned the truck. He stated that the truck was never returned - when in fact, a uhaul staff forgot to check it in. So, instead of going out and checking to see if the truck was there first, he calls the customer. This is not a mile long walk - literally, right in front of the building. I have been using uhaul for years and I have never experience such incompetence and laziness! My partner and I had to drive to the area to look for the truck ourselves! Yup - it was just there. We were already tired from moving all day and this is the treatment we get from Uhaul. No apologies received. They wasted 2 hours of our time. Being on hold for 20 mins and driving there, (about 30 mins each way)! Uhaul - I am seriously doubting your hiring and promoting process. How this manager, named Antonio, got to this management level is beyond anyone's comprehension!

Outside Attendant who hooked up trailer and checked it back in was very rude. Needs to learn customer service skills.

One of the staff in charge of cleaning was rude and disrespectful. To return the rented van, I parked it at the rented location's designated parking zone, and started a return process by mobile phone. Then the staff approached me and said "just leave", unfriendlily. I tried to ask a question for clarification, but he didn't listened to me and showed an attitude that "this guy can't understand English". Instead, what he did next was telling my wife "Clean this space, otherwise I will charge you $25". She was actually working on cleaning using her own brush. That staff's was not an attitude I never had at any stores. He was the worst staff I met since I started living in Oregon 4 years ago.

I think that getting hit with an after hours fee for $20, because we are 5 minutes past the 3pm deadline is cheap, and pathetic. We didn't even get our van until 10:20 due to COVID restrictions, as well as the line. We will skip using UHAUL again. -Geoff

I liked how everything was done online and so I was expecting to have no wait time or dependency on staff but the barcode scan didn't work. I ended up waiting for an hour when I didn't have that hour to spare.

The steering was really loose, which made the truck difficult to drive over 40 mph. The employees moving trucks before business hours were rude and treated me like an idiot because I couldn't hear them and asked for clarification. Very disappointing.

Nothing to do with this location, they were very helpful. Especially when your systems were so bogged down. Please consider updating your technology infrastructure so it can handle last weekend of the month volume. I tried to do a rental via the 24/7 app option and it just wouldn't work.

The air conditioner didn't work unless it was on max. There no mirror adjustments unless you do it manually. The inside was dusty and dirty. I only moved a bed from one location to the other and only had the van for less than 2 hours. I have driven other vans from U-Haul and this one was by far the worst. So I am basing this review only on this trip. Staff was friendly though.

Don't rely on your “reservation “. I was notified just before moving that my confirmed reservation for one way 26' truck (40 cents per mile) was no longer good. Though they had a 26 truck available for 3 day “daily rental” (79 cents per mile). Cost me @ 75 $ more in the end.

Have enough staff on board to help the customers in a timely fashion. There was one staff who was trying to do it all - then another came in - but the one was everywhere - he was efficient and quick - but there was a point of about 5-10 minutes where three of us were waiting and no one was in the store - they were outside with others. Perhaps a part-timer to come in and help at the desk?

Tyler who helped me was the antithesis of the gentleman I. Tonapah, VV. I also had a great experience with gentleman at Woodys Automotive I. HAWTHORNE CA who met me Sunday afternoon in 104 degree heat and did his best to try to fix it for about and hour.

The drop off experience was horrible. The automated process is not easy for old people. We finally completed the online Checkin process and then couldn't figure out where to leave the key. I'll have to go back to turn in the key in the morning. We felt like the price for rental was high and then you charge more if you don't check it in yourself. I am not happy right now

This was not the first location I tried to drop off at. The first scheduled location would not allow me to drop off. They then gave me a wrong address to drop off the truck and sent me on a 20 mile goose chase to a narrow residential street where it was all I could do to keep the trees off the truck. I didn't find the front of the location until after I had done the phone app drop off. To no fault of this site the return did not go well.

Yeah could you find a way to give customers access to the trailer dolly even after hours. We nearly hurt ourselves trying to put the car dolly away by hand during an after hours drop off. We nearly lost control of it and also came close to damaging other equipment in the return yard. We also came close to running ourselves over with the dolly.
