--DO NOT RECOMMEND-- I almost never write a review unless required but I feel the need to warn others about the Uhaul location off of TV Hway (Aloha, Beaverton). It took me almost an hour just to book a van from that location and although the rep had a professional manner, he did not tell me anything about checking in when returning the vehicle except for parking the van back in the U-shaped drive through when returning, dropping off the key into the box right outside his office, and not parking my car in the parking lot but on the street or else it would be towed. My kids were screaming at home both when I rented the van and when I returned it so mind you, I did not have the right mindset to re-read the contract and looked for the part where it said something about the $20 fee if I failed to "check in" online after retuning the van and key. To this day I don't even know where in the contract stated that. I checked my email the next day just to receive a receipt from Uhaul with a bunch of extra charges that made my original bill almost double! I was also charged for failing to fuel the tank up to where it was supposed to be. The rep said to return it to about the 7/8 line and I made a note of that on my phone. To be extra careful, I did take a picture of where it was originally for proof right before dispatching because it was NOT at 7/8. But that doesn't matter. I still made sure to filled it up at least 7/8 when returning the vehicle. I remember feeling like a dummy for filling it up MORE than what they gave me but I was like "Oh well, that's ok!", but no, the rep charged me 1.5 gallon more because it was somehow below expected (which is absolutely not true!). I called them and they said they'd get back to me right away. No call. I emailed them at the customer email provided. Nothing! You'd think a big company like Uhaul would treat their customers better. Bring your business somewhere else unless you'd want to be charged for outrageous charges and have your hard earned money thrown out the window!

The trick was filthy, below gas level notated and alignment was off from 10-2 to 2-9. I called the manager right away and he was absolutely wonderful with handling the situation. I'd give 5 stars for him If I could!

So after the start of my move was screwed up I further had the pleasure of someone from this location calling to say I was late to return my truck - which to my knowledge I was not - I believe my return time was not entered correctly by the person I spoke to at my original pick up location who said they were changing my reservation the the Franklin Blvd location - I don't know - all I know is that my move started off terrible due to whomever made the error that resulted in my truck not being ready on time then ended with this jerk calling from the drop off location to chew me out because he said I was late returning instead of allowing me to explain or looking into the matter further to see if maybe there was an error. Then when I went to drop the truck off and attempted to use the app some guy came running up and got in the truck didn't say who he was or explain he was checking it in - overall this was just a horrible experience - thanks for making my move hell from start to finish.

I had to drive an extra 44 miles from molalla to beaverton to pick up my car dolly/ they had one in molalla? i dont know why it was set up that way? i was charged for miles overage i think the 44 miles from both u hauls should be deducted from ther obverage.The molalla store was very helpful the beaverton store was not! the outside employee was rude and the car dolly was missing a lug nut and 3 were loose! i had to toghten them to stop the noise it was making.

All info was entered online including credit card. Then had to go thru too much when in the store. Should not have to use my phone to process info. It would be much more user friendly to have the employee take the photo of license, (re)run the credit card, etc - they know the process. While standing in line other customers had to ask questions on the steps to do the things on their phone. The employees get frustrated having to continually explain to each customer and the customer gets frustrated because they have to learn how to do it. Get rid of the emergency number. Had to give 4 different peoples phone numbers before finally had one that would answer or indentify themselves on voice mail. Felt like there was no trust. I understand people probably abuse rental trucks but it should not be assumed everyone does. I cleaned the truck better than when I got it and put more gas in then when I started. To instill a positive enviroment could consider rewarding people for caring for the vehicle. For eample, instead of a cleaning fee that is added to the charge than refunded. They had my card info, the contract could say $25 will be added to the card if dirty and the customer would agree when signing the contract. Don't like the after-the-fact check out procedure. I was told the truck would be gone over and they will send me the close out document. If I got home and my bill showed added cost for whatever I would have no way to disagree or contest it. Too many texts and emails just to rent a truck. Whole process needs to be smoother, simpler and easier since moving is stressful and hard enough as it is. I rated the location as I did not because of the people but because of the process. Had one employee who was great and another not so great. I used to like U-haul, especially being it started in the NW. To hard to work with U-Haul.

Your 24/7 bar code didn't work AND my GOS locator was ON and it kept telling me I was at the wrong location/it couldn't identify my location.

I arrived and tried to explain that I did not ask for the hand truck, moving dolly or blankets and the representative at check-in shouted at me, demanding I fold the blankets or there would be a charge. I tried again to let him know but he kept yelling and didn't seem to understand me. I went inside and informed someone at the front desk of what was going on. They seemed unsurprised at the actions of their fellow employee, muttered into a device to say not to charge for the extras and told me I was free to go. A huge difference from my return here last week, which was way more pleasant.

Instead of electronic check-out, the outside receiver sent me into the office to check-out. This office was also understaffed and the wait was long. Then, after told I was good to go, they apparently didn't check-in the trailer I returned because I got a call the next day asking when I was going to return the trailer. I explained that I had indeed returned the trailer on time and that had not received an receipt. I was sent the receipt electronically later that same day.

Truck I reserved a week in advance was not there. Reserved at another location & had to drive across town to pick it up only to find out it was rented to someone else. Rented me a smaller truck so I had to make 2 trips. No apologies.

The truck I used (TM2846E) has a problem with the key. It will not turn readily. It's necessary to wiggle the key around to start the engin.

The truck was not prepared for my reservation. It had someone's lunch in it, tacos and old pop bottles. The bag was soaked with greaSe and had ripped leaving onions on seat (stinky) and then it had a flat tire before I could even put it in gear.

The truck was filthy and obviously NOT sanitized. The transmission was horrible and would do some pretty crazy things like downshift in the middle of going 60mph, send me and my cargo flung forward. It was also hard to get in gear at times. After riding in that truck I wanted to follow Trump's advice and shoot myself up with bleach.

I was charged a cleaning fee by the drop location after I cleaned the cab to better condition I received it . Just ridiculous that I can be charged for someone else's mistake and there is nothing I can do about that

Billed extra $200 for no reason. Customer service line took an hour on hold and ended up accidentally charging another $212. They eventually had to issue a $420 reimbursement. These people are lost when it comes to billing for the contract.
