Arrived before scheduled time but still had to stand in line for 30 minutes then when a representative became available he put a closed sign at his cubical and I waited another 15 minutes. The q5' Truck was awesome ! Only had 4K miles on it, lots of power and average of 12+ miles per gal due to mountains and strong head winds. I thought it was only going to get 9 or 10 mpg. When I was unloading my stuff in storage a lady asked about the truck and she was looking forward to renting one thanks to my referal

The manager made it very uncomfortable by berating the employees in front of customers. When mistakes happen it's the managers job to resolve the issue and deescalate this situation. This guy did the opposite. The shaggy hair dirty blond guy was very kind, professional, and took it well. I felt bed for him but he didn't let it shake his customer service. Very impressive.

My experience at this location was top notch. Very helpful customer service rep who went above and beyond to make my pickup easy. Sadly I had to go through two other locations to get here. So this review is about the reservation process as a whole. I made the reservation for another location a month in advance. I quickly Got a message saying they don’t have this trailer and moved my reservation to the location on foster/88th. I arrived just after my reservation time and the rep said they didn’t have my trailer available. Something about having to go down for maintenance. Understandable, things like that happen, but I got no call, no attempt to rebook my reservation before my arrival. When they told me about the change they looked at me like it was my issue and only after asking what I was supposed to do and mentioning I still needed a trailer did they offer to rebook me. It just left a bad customer service taste in my mouth. 2 hours later I was able to get my trailer. A call would’ve solved everything.

I was happy with the customer service provided I had pre ordered a truck thru the app. Unfortunately some issues had arrised at the moment of picking up the vehicle. Thankfully the employee was able to work around the issues and truly took care of me . Im very happy with the customer service and ill definitely be a returning customer. Thank you!!!

Initially the truck designated for use had no gas. The attendant was very helpful and reassigned us a new truck. I used the app to check out and it worked and was easy. I did have difficulty with the app excepting photos of the truck. The attendant was helpful and speeded up check out. Overall it took 20 minutes to check out. Thanks

The app would not load my pictures of the vehicle and I was not able to proceed with my pickup as smoothly as necessary. I wasn’t able to access my contract via my phone to see the mileage and it made for a very unclear return process. The staff were incredibly nice but the app was really horrible and needs better development/user interfacing.

I have a brand-new Toyota Tacoma pickup, but when I rent something I have to tow, I always forget about the ball mount and what size hitch ball happens to be on it at any given time. When I do find the stinger, I can never find a hitch pin, though I have several, and if the receiver wasn't bolted and welded to the frame, I'd probably misplace that. But I found the ball mount with no ball, and these folks ever so nicely went and found me a used ball laying around and bolted it onto the mount for me, and really helped me preserve my schedule, which included out-of-state towing and drop-off of the trailer. A very concerned and helpful crew.

The Happy Valley staff was super kind and helpful! We had a great experience with them. Just a note for Portland folks though, we were unable to pickup closer to our house in Portland and ended up needing to pickup in Happy Valley for the equipment we needed. Because we had to drive so far away to pickup, the total mileage of our move exceeded the allotment by 20 miles and we were charged extra for our rental, which was a bit frustrating.

Truck was rented to me with 1/4 tank of fuel. I did about 10 miles and the low fuel warning came on. I mentioned this to the employee at the return and he said the 26' trucks are kept with very low fuel because they are easy to steal gas out of. If thats the case, when renting them out, they should tell customers that they should put some gas in it first and try to return with 1/4 tank.

Dropped off the trailer 5 minutes past closing. The online return thing didn’t work so I was instructed to leave the receipt in the key return box. That took an hour. Would have been much easier if the guys inside would have taken 5 minutes to assist. I left a bit frustrated along with the four other people trying to do the same thing

Having reserved trucks and their trailers ready instead of waiting for pickup really eats into the functionality of planning around the rental. The location seemed understaffed by at least one person throughout the day that I rented.

The uhaul experience was good. Unfortunately our new home wasn't ready and we returned the uhaul within 2 hrs. We will be re-renting, just unsure of date I did call to see if there was any possible financial help for us as this was inconvenient. I had to move to a new unit at the last second and I had some problems with accessing the storage unit. Justin at the Clackamas Uhaul center was super helpful and solved the problems immediately! Im especially appreciative because I was in the middle of a very stressful move and it was nice to not worry about last second hitches.

The staff was very informative, quick, and understanding. This team does an excellent job at working together and respond more as a human instead of robots. This location is very secure, they are firm on their words. This was my first storage unit Ive had for 5 years, and no problems ever. Opened it only 1 time which was after 5 years! And not much dust on anything! The storage is very trustworthy for your stuff.

clean, safe, with good AC and easy parking. Carl handled our move-in and was fantastic. I didn't get the name of the representative who did our move-out, but he was ALSO fantastic. I had one of the larger storage spaces with the garage-style door, at the very far end of the building, and the rep very kindly unlocked the door of the storage building for me, so that I could walk through the AC-controlled building and not across the hot parking lot. Such a small detail, but a perfect example of the level of customer service i received. will def recommend this space to any friends or family looking for storage. thanks again to Carl and his staff!

The 2nd floor storage was terrible. It’s not safe for anyone really to have to climb a ladder and move stuff up and down. Especially when you are a single female and no staff are on site to help. I would not recommend this type of unit.

When I first arrived I had no idea where to go or what I was doing. I finally had a little help from one person then to make matters worse there was no where to put a 26ft truck with car transport but 1 spot. Then a uhaul employee purposely parks multiple uhaul s around me and boxes me in. I only know that because I went into store and over heard him and another employee talking about it and laughing at me. Honestly I'm upset feel like I'm stupid and never want to go back. If I woulda just had a little direction or help it could have been avoided. But childish games made my uhaul return late and the rest of my stuff literally left in the rain down the street.

The gentleman that checked us in got visibility irritated when I said I hadn’t been able to complete the move in electronically. When I made the call to reserve the unit I wasn’t told that a “round” lock was required, then because the unit was actually 2 units next to each other I had to buy 2! We ended up not needing the unit, never put stuff in it, or put a lock on it, and we checked in on the 10th, and checked out on the 12th, and got no money back. I called the storage manager, and never got a call back. The only bright spot we’re the 2 employees that helped us check out on the 12th, I could tell that they cared.

The fact that you don't pro rate charges is not ok.. many other storage places cheaper that pro rate .I have since vacated . And gone to another storage facility However Justin really went out of his way for us during a tough situation.. his knowledge was excellent as was his customer service .

When my family and I arrived to check in to our storage unit UHaul provided for the truck rental and 4 state move we had just done, we notice right away that the access was rough to get to the units. We walked in and the guy at the counter was never quiet and non responsive to questions and concerns and took over and hour to check us in and struggled the entire time and even though he was standing there with 3 other guys around that clearly had more experience, he didn't ask for help nor did anyone offer him help when they saw him struggling and our growing frustration and not knowing what was going on. By the time we got to the end of check in, the unit that had been reserved for us for over two weeks was not available and they were giving us two smaller units side by side which was not gonna work for us and not only that but the large unit for a 3+ bedroom home was up stairs and inside which was not feasible and the only way up was some rickety stairs on outside of building that were too narrow and had and awning that prevented any large furniture from getting up them. We canceled the whole thing and went down the street to Public Storage and their service and ease of access and timeliness far exceeded uhaul.

I was a customer for years and it was fine but then without notice there was no where to park while getting things in or out of my unit if it was during business hours. I found out it was because they started renting cars, so that took all the spaces storage customers had. Profits before people will kill any business!

Ground level outdoor unit, appreciated very convenient drive up and simple access- However, to be helpful- seasonal outdoor maintenance use of leaf blowers regularly pushed debris, paint chips, dirt, and dust under my unit door and onto my stored belongings. Stored papers, furniture, textiles, equipment and art were all affected, with layers of dirt clinging to some vulnerable items. Not entirely unexpected, nor was I significantly disappointed... Thank you.

The facility owner, Justin, was especially kind one day when a stray dog came running up to me as I was bringing things outside from my unit — I asked for help and he put the dog in his car to stay safe until we figured out what to do (the owner finally came by).

My rating would have been Excellent but the most recent experience I have last December 20, 2022, the door latch was disappointing as it was badly done and my disc lock would not go through. We alerted the office at once and for some reason it was not tended to and I received a voice message (thank you for that anyway) that I don't have a lock, and that is the reason why. I apologize as I should have made a temporary lock to secure it before leaving my things. I was on a time scrunch and decided to attend to it later. Jonathan went back yesterday and the latch was still not done. I believe the manager took care of it in 5 minutes. Now that, is the excellent part. I am grateful for Seth for helping with my move-in procedures, inspite of a few hiccups.

I have always used U-Haul and always been happy with no issues until 6 months ago when I needed a storage unit and used another that was very close to my place. BAD mistake that I will never ever do again and will still always recommend U-Haul. Someone camping out inside the storage unit we think broke out my lock and had time to go through all my boxes and stole so much stuff! Emptied out the unit the following weekend.
