I went to the Hwy 49 location initially and was disappointed. The lady behind the desk did not have a clue to what she was trying to do. She finally gave up and told me it was after 430PM, I arrived at 420, and could not rent me a trailer. I went to the 1132 Pass Road location and got a trailer from them. Terrible experience!

I rented a 5x9 trailer that had 2 bad tires and electrical issues. I brought it to the employees attention he told me that was the only one available even tho there was 3 more trailers available. I ended up bringing back the trailer earlier than expected due to the trailer being all over the place on the road. it was not safe to tow. When I returned I showed another gentleman what they left with and I was told he would have someone contact me before being charged since I was sent out with a trailer that should have been pulled for repairs

Just a couple of comments. First, your posters show a tripod stand that was not with our unit. Since we needed our vehicle for other business between the time we picked up the trailer and the day we left for our destination, the trailer had to be disconnected. The was difficult. When I picked up the trailer from the dealer, the attendant could not lift the tongue onto my trailer ball. I had to assist him even throw I had hurt my back a couple of days earlier. Finally, we were lucky to have wrapped our mattress in a plastic sleeve because we noticed water on top of it when we unloaded. Thankfully, no other items were wet.

We couldn’t get a receipt for returning the trailer because the system was “spooling” and was promised a receipt when the system straightened out. He counted our 10 extra large boxes that we returned but didn’t give us credit for them. We had to call back at 6:45 because we never received the receipt and because the guy that checked us in was off duty they couldn’t give us credit for the boxes but did offer a receipt for returning the trailer. Do not recommend this location.

When a customer comes to return a rental, they should be able to drop it at the rental return area. I had traveled the day before and worked all night and was asked to squeeze between 2 rental box trucks to return trailer to a specific spot by backing it in. I finally said I wasn't doing all that they could unhook it and handle the rest. Just too much after having dealt with a lot already.

They didn’t have furniture dollies despite the fact I had them reserved. They didn’t have an appliance dolly (I didn’t have reserved) and they didn’t care. The Dollie’s I had reserved were taken by a walking customer right in front of me who didn’t have reservations. The got stuck in the ignition and I had to park it OVER Night with key in it risking vehicle theft. The first group of movers I had booked cancelled at the last minute. The next group of movers damaged items! I’ve spent thousands of dollars with UHaul the last 4 years. This was the most stressful and worst moving experience of my life!

I recently moved using a uhaul truck. The truck drove wonderfully and was such a huge convenience. Uhauls website and app are a terrible inconvenience. I used the website to set up a reservation and it switched me to download the app. It took so long for everything to work properly and when I was done, it was not correct. Nothing saved. So, I drove to uhaul to reserve everything. I reserved a furniture & utility dolly and a dozen moving blankets. I did not get the furniture dolly or a dozen moving blankets, but I was charged for the blankets. Please assist me in getting refunded. As I was attempting to return the haul after hours, I was in that parking lot for over 2 hours because of the buffering app & it NEVER told me that it was returned. It continuously said that I need to take better pictures. I sent you photos through email to show they were as the examples. RIDICULOUS!

I need a supervisor to call me as I was treated very poorly by staff at location. Delaying my drive by 3 hours!! After I waited patiently they informed me that they would not be able to load my vehicle!

Deb at the Gulfport, MS location was AMAZING! She was super flexible on our delivery date for our empty crates and worked really well with us. Then Cindy from the Lacey, WA location was also great! She was able to deliver my shipment a day early which was awesome! The U-Boxes worked extremely well for our cross country move form MS to WA. We have already raved about your services to several of our friends, family, and neighbors. We will definitely be using U-Boxes for our next move!

I reserved a truck a week in advance. I requested 8am which is an hour prior to opening. I chose to use remote app to get the truck. I arrived early. Waited till 9 because I wasn’t able to get the keys from the lock box, they were inside. 2 people were working that day while the line was about to go out the door. I kept walking back and forth asking the two workers what’s up with my truck. The response I was given was give me a min so I can get it ready, just wait for the dispatcher. Every time I walked outside to see what’s going on with my truck, the line kept getting longer. I waited till 1030 to get my truck when I reserved it for 8. Then when I received it, I couldn’t get the dolly I requested a week ago, they were out. I lost 2.5 hours of moving plus had to pay the guys that were hired to help me move for those 2.5 lost hours. Also I was told that I needed to bring the truck back an hour earlier than reserved for, a week prior. So instead of a 24 hr rental, I got charged for a 20 hr rental. Plus the money I had to pay for the movers and to not get the dolly I requested. Lost valuable money and time for my move.

There were only 2 employees working that morning and it was an especially busy day being it was the last Sunday of the month. One employee was cleaning the trucks and the other was balancing the phone and customers. Meanwhile, there's a line to the door. The worker helping the customers told us that he didn't understand why they didn't have more people working on days like that. Especially when its the end of the month when alot of moving takes place. We had no issues with the employees and we appreciate the hard work they have to deal with. They were patient and steady-minded. This location just needs to stock up on their employees for high volume days like this one in the future!!

Windows wipers had no blades so rain came and caused 6 hours of lay over at a convenient store and having to buy even more extra milage since you can't stay at a convenient store for that long unless you work there..and I almost applied..

When I moved I set up a reservation for a truck and storage unit. Once I got everything moved into the truck. The storage unit was filthy looked like someone had been living out off it.15 feet . So since that one was unavailable they gave me a bigger size unit because that’s all they had at the time. In which area hey are charging me full price for 170$ a month. Then when I got my stuff finally settled in the unit the door to the unit wouldn’t shut to lock! So someone had to come out a drill a whole in the door for it to shut. Spoke with the manager and her reply was I could have chosen somewhere else.

The Peachtree CityGa can do a little better by checking to see that all your equipment rented is in the back of your truck. I had to go back to the store and get my utility dolly myself in.my car because they didn't check.Gulfport,Ms the Pass Rd store was great. Both was great actually.

The guys were great. We seen the unit had a few things leftover in there but the guys were amazing. They were gonna move me but I told them I liked that unit and placement. They got a truck, loaded up the trash, and cleaned it out on the spot for me in 5 minutes. I was able to find a beautiful full China set. The check in was easy peasy. I definitely would use them again. They treated me just right! Thank you fellas!

Climate-controlled storage was actually very hot during the summer months. There was no AC actively working when I was there, instead they were using floor fans insecurely jerry-rigged to the ceiling (which were not doing a good job at all). Upon retrieving my belongings before ending my contract for moving, the entire “climate controlled” interior had a very deep, powerful stench of stale urine that permeated my belongings that were stored there. The staff also repeatedly complained to me and other customers about their staffing issues during my move out day. I ended up getting my 15’ truck 2 hours later than what I scheduled a month ago due to a combination of incessant complaining from staff about other coworkers not being to work on time and…. the other employees being late. The staff seemed more preoccupied with venting to customers than working to get us taken care of despite their drawbacks. More time was wasted on complaining to us than actually doing their job. I had to wash everything I had stored here, and I was put two entire hours behind due to their level of unprofessionalism. The staff also seemed to enjoy correcting me referring to my truck rental as an “van” because they call them trucks, despite a picture on the board behind their heads of my exact rental van titled in bold black letters as “15’ Van.” Intervention needed at this location ASAP. I expected better, having done business at much nicer Uhaul facilities elsewhere.

The location manager and the staff at this location really made the biggest impact on my experience with U-Haul and U-Haul storage. Corporate U-haul screwed up my storage location (was supposed to be closer to my office), and they put me here instead. When I got here, the storage code provided by corporate U-Haul did not work. The manager, Dana, helped me get access to the unit after hours. Even though there are 5-6 locations closer to my home and work, I will drive out of my way to this location since they were so helpful from now on. If I ever need a hitch, I'll come here. When I need storage again, I will come here.

It was fine when I first started using this facility in 2021. By the time I moved out this month, they had the back stacked so much with those boxes by the van body units, that my unit was a little difficult for me to access most of the time. Luckily I was moving out anyway bc I recently moved back home. But I’m not paying the kind of money I paid not to have easy access to my things. But that’s what I get for doing business with a corporation instead of a local business honestly

The outside storage are the beds off of the moving trucks and almost every one you are at risk of you or your stuff falling through like I did. And not to mention I could put my balled up fist through the holes in the roof...absolutely would not recommend.

I was told where to leave the gas mark in the U Haul truck and I did so and still they took 30 dollars out my 100 dollars deposit. Remind you when I rented the truck it was on EMPTY....I have the paperwork showing where to leave the gas not knowing they still was gonna take 30 dollars anyway..

When closing out my storage unit account, there was a computer issue and Miss Cheyenne was EXTREMELY helpful in remedying the problem, maintaining a professional decorum and reassuring me that everything was going to be okay! Huge kudos to her, Big Kenny, Shaun and J for always being so helpful, kind and professional in all their interactions with not only me, but all the customers I've seen there. We booked a unit online specifically picked one on ground floor since we had furniture. None were available upon arrival. The inside of the storage place was run down and not maintained. We had to find a different storage unit in gulfport and we got charged for the miles it took to drive there. It was not a good experience and wouldn't recommend this location. The workers there were not friendly either when we asked questions they were dismissive and seemed bothered by us.

When I made my reservation for a 1st floor climate controlled 1,200 square foot storage, I knew that is what I was getting. When I checked in at the facility they gave me a 2nd Floor climate controlled small storage room and I am on a time schedule nothing else was open on a Sunday so I had to settle but I have no where else to put my other stuff because it would not fit in the storage they gave me. So I had to throw my stuff that wouldn't fit away.

I have 3 units but had to cancel this one. staff always eager to help but the hall was too narrow to fit the sofa. I would have moved stuff from my other units but it wouildnt have fit in those either. Its not a huge couch so I don't understand this. I know Cheyann tried very hard to make it work. Dana and her Assistant was very helpful getting things reversed. They made it quick and easy and I was grateful. online is very convenient but took two days having to re enter constantly over and over til finally went thru. if it does that because someone has it reserved, please just say "you can try later" but having to keep entering info over and over was frustrating. Eventhough I like U haul and prefer to have my storage here.

The storage unit available was on the second floor which was also split level making it a 2.5 level with stairs and a ramp only to load and unload items. No elevator available. The facility was not climate controlled and it was extremely sweltering hot while moving items in and out. I found a dead rat in my unit upon moving out. All of my belongings smelled like a dead rat in my car. I have to air out and clean my belongings before placing inside my home. There was a large cut out hole in the wall in the unit observed when moving in. I tried to cover it with a suitcase but I guess that didn’t help. 2 rat traps were also in the unit. For future movers, an elevator and climate control or air conditioning would be beneficial. Thanks.

I rented this unit not knowing that there was not an elevator to help me get my things up to the second floor. I had no way to carry all of my things up the stairs by myself, and therefore this storage unit was useless to me and I never even used it to store any of my stuff. It would have been helpful to know this ahead of time, instead of wasting my money on a storage unit that I couldn’t use.

The facility was not what I expected from my previous experience with a different Uhaul storage facility in Hawaii. It wasn’t as clean as I expected it to be and there is a very musty smell that concerns me will transfer to the fabric of the sofa, and will also be absorbed by the wood in the table and dresser. They also did not have the size that I had actually reserved online. I ended up with a smaller unit, and although the movers made it work for a sofa, dresser (standing upright), and round dining table (laying on its side), it is not ideal and will make it difficult getting things out without strong movers to do so when it’s time to vacate. It also doesn’t leave very much space for boxes. The other inconvenience is that there is no elevator. The furniture needed to be carried up the stairs, then up ramps to get to the unit on the second floor. Unfortunately, with the timing I had no other option as I couldn’t keep the movers running around to different facilities or units. If I had known these things I would have looked for something better and closer to Bay St Louis or Picayune. Although every other place that I made inquiries with only had very big units which were too big for what I needed stored. What I had reserved was an 8x8 unit and that would have been perfect. What I ended up with was a 6x6 unit. On another note, I was impressed with the selection of packing supplies for sale at the facility.

The staff were incredibly helpful when that happened and quickly got us the information for the insurance we purchased so we could claim things.

So I had some problems with the paper work and calculations which could have been explained , but after the tenth time it was not . I was told to call the manager so I did . When I called the manager and explained it to her she basically told me I woke her up out her sleep and when I asked can I stop by tomorrow and resolve this what time will she be in she told me again I woke her up out her sleep in she was in a fog and did not know ! On the card that was giving to me it did not say what time to call the (manager) which I think was unprofessional and poor on management as well !!! I must say Travis helped me get in the unit which took about 20 minutes because it wasent working and he to had to keep calling inside for help so it just was not me !!!!! I appreciate Travis !! I finally just canceled !!!

Despite being told when I rented that anytime less than a month would prorated , when I questioned staff they were indignant and stated" i don't think so , we don't do that." When we got the storage I wasn’t asked bout the insurance. I came back from working out of town and all my stuff was wet and molded. The ceiling had done fell in and wet all my things. So when I went to the front they say they can’t do anything cause of the insurance. Dana was extremely knowledgeable in her facility and its options, selecting appropriate size unit for me, covering all aspects during our discussion. Other staff members extremely helpful getting me moved in, into the facility to my unit, how to access via my code, and adjusting the code when the system detected a duplicated code Only intending a short stay a i am attempting to purchase a home in the Gulfport area but am highly pleased with the situation.

Uhaul as a whole seems very disorganized. We had problems making arrangements that were most convenient but also not having the facilities present at the location and times that were a arranged.

It was rats in my storage, the manager has the nastiest attitude, did not try to accommodate my belongings by offering to move to a different unit or reducing the rent price, was paying to house rats!

Gulfport was ok.. friendly people ..the truck tho was horrible terrible gas mileage filled up 3 times at 65.00 dollars, the truck seem to be hard to take off.. it didnt get good gas mileage at all...

My reservation was on on time, and delivered to the uHaul to the nearest location to my home. My uHaul truck and trailer was safe to drive my distance to Gulf Port, and I didn't exceed my miles.

The representative at pass road Gulfport miss was very helpful . But the truck I rented wasn't at location as promised. Also the unit I reserved wasn't available. The rep A&J auto market was rude!

The overlook of the place look clean well maintained but my unit got rain in it and my brand new couch got ruined and my TV will not power on now and my pictures and trays has mildew from rain on it.
