The truck I rented was old and seemed as if it was going to break down the minute I left uhaul. I expressed my concerns to at least three employees (one of them which was a manger) when I returned the truck not one of them even apologized or even offered what they could do to make it right!!! I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy!!

Staff was great & truck was clean. Staff arrived at store early and helped me accomplish check-in via the uhaul website which wasn’t working properly. Returned the truck later than anticipated and the person checking me back in was friendly and professional and the owner helped with another problem. Everyone there was personable, friendly and professional

I rented a $19 pickup truck at the Gulfport, MS location on Pass Rd. to drive 8 miles round trip to the harbor to pull a boat out of the water to be washed. I used the truck, put the remaining 1/2 gallon of fuel from my gas can for the power washer in the truck and returned it a couple of hours later. I was charged the $19, $10 for insurance (even though I declined it on my reservation), $5.90 for mileage for 10 miles and a $7 charge for fuel. It is this last charge that I object to. The truck was given to me with 5/8 of a tank of fuel and somehow Uhaul is claiming that the truck was not returned with the same 5/8 tank of fuel after driving the 10 miles for which I was charged. I called to object to the charge but was not refunded. It is ridiculous to me that Uhaul expects to give out a vehicle with less than a full tank and then issue a charge for failure to return the tank with the same amount of fuel when the vehicle was driven 10 miles or less. There is no way that Uhaul can determine that the truck was not returned with the same amount of fuel. This is a scam. It's only $7 but its a scam all the same. A $19 truck rental ends up costing near $50. If Uhaul is going to charge customers for fuel, it should issue its vehicles with full tanks so that they can be returned full or provide a reliable method to determine whether it is returned with the same amount of fuel. It is not ok to just level an unjustified charge regardless of how small the amount. Very disappointed.

I would Recommend informing the customer of your double lock policy. I rented a unit and was never informed that the policy was to double lock. When I asked what if I had come to get in the unit and could Not have got in, the mans response was, we would Have had to open it for you. Clearly I was not happy and would have been furious if I had tried to get in and was unable to do so.

Test drive truck before customer pickup and correct faults. Second key given for truck did not work; and, accelerator pedal rubber cushion was missing and only had a thin metal strip for operation.

I always waive the insurance for U-haul trailers & trucks. It was not explained CLEARLY to me that my insurance agent would have to be called to verify my coverage. Therefore I was charged additional $20 insurance coverage. I did not like this site because there was only one person at the desk and I was ignored for 15min when I returned the truck. He needs to hire more help in the office. Three more customers came in while I was waiting ane they too were ignored.

I didn’t have time to go back in and tell them that they gave me the uhaul on empty. So I left thinking it would be alright. I read the contract and of course you put in there, that if you don’t go back in immediately and tell them about the gas, then there’s nothing you can do about it. So when I was nice and brought the uhaul back with 1/8 of a tank, I was charged almost 50$ dollars in gas fees. Which is absolutely horrible if you. You already overcharged me. I was charged twice for the services with a total of 535$- 25$ was corrected and given back to me only. I am very displeased with this company and will tell everyone I know to never use any uhaul company again.

They did not have enough personnel on duty to take care of the customers fast enough took me about 45 minutes to get dolly and truck and on the road.

Excellent service, prior to picking up the vehicle our location was changed to an out of the way location for us, they were very helpful in changing out location to a much closer one for us.
