I arrived late on Saturday right before closing. The front desk assisted me and everything was fine there. I was unable to access my assigned storage at that time since they were right about to close. That was fine. I went back Sunday to unload my Uhaul rented enclosed trailer. I drove all the was from Montana for this. First someone from maintenance apparently doesn’t realize that customers need to access the top left storage containers and parked right at the center of the entrance. Luckily one of the staff helped me back up the trailer. They are very obvious and inconsiderate for parking that truck there. Next, I got to the storage container and the one I was assigned did not have the master lock anywhere and had someone else’s personal lock as if they had made a mistake and assigned me the an occupied unit or some random person just used it and locked it and it was not updated on their system as occupied and gave it to me. I was on a time crunch and lost about an hour at this point. Cancelled my reservation and went to Public Storage instead and got a 10’ x 25’ actual structure storage. Not only is it a better price, in a better location, they are actually organized and know what units are actually available and DID NOT WASTE MY TIME!

Notified manager about leak in front and brushed it off saying was from lifting the door when there was a clear hole in the front seal and the door doesn't fully close. How can my stuff be wet and moldy from lifting the door when I haven't been to the unit in months? Are the employees opening the door? I would have stored my stuff longer but doesn't seem like U-Haul cares about paying customers personal belongings and obviously doesn't need my money so taking my business elsewhere.
