The appliance dolly was broken and it was literally the "ONLY" one they have to rent. Had to come back the next day (make a second trip into town) to request a refund on the dolly which they did give me. I should have been given a "FULL" refund on the trailer as well for the HUGE inconvenience. The appliance dolly was just as much needed as the trailer to move a large refrigerator . Created a huge problem. They explained that corporate requires them to leave the dollies outside and they get stolen and that is why they only have the one that is broken. If that is true, then that is extremely foolish on corporates part to not at least require them to be chained up. Any fool knows that if you leave things outside they will get stolen!

I have no complaints about the storage facility, or the Uhaul truck itself. I just can't understand why a company that spends so much effort in the pursuit of customer satisfaction would allow the worst quality windshield wipers on its truck merely to save a few dollars. I believe this is a safety issue, and that Uhaul is liable for any damage to people and property that stem from cutting corners like this. Unbelievable!

Check tires, tread on tires feel was too low, Insurance/ road side assistance is A Joke, got back tires off my drive way and in soft dirt that was wet from snow. Not Covered, had to leave truck in driveway and use my truck instead . BIG JOKE.

The truck that I rented had a squeak under the hood (possibly from a V-belt). It had old tree pitch on the hood, grill , and windows in the driver-side and passenger side doors. The driver’s door hinge squeaked while opening or closing it. I’m unhappy that U-Haul makes the previous condition known on a link, but the customer cannot see the link after a few hours.

The staff and the process was excellent. The problem was the trailer had sand in the tire strap wells. The sand was embedded in the straps and was a mess to deal with. It wouldn't take a maintenance person much time to have cleaned the trailer so I didn't have to deal with it. I commented to the staff of the problem when i returned the trailer.

This was the 2nd weekend in a row that I needed a vehicle. The team is efficient and the process is smooth. I would recommend giving more support to the staff. They are always outnumbered by customers on the weekend. Although the staff handles it well and takes care of everyone without a moments pause. People are standing around watching these guys work their buts off while they wait their turn. All the customers talked about how unfair this was for the staff.

When Covid hit I lost my job and went through a separation so I was having hard time paying my storage. Single mom of 4 boys, I found a job in Seattle area and had to relocate. I had payment arrangements set up. To make a payment, I had to send cash to a friend in Yakima cause UHAUL wouldn’t take my debit card over the internet or through phone (yes it was a legitimate debit card). My friend couldn’t do that forever and it was too far for me to drive to make payments. Once again, lost my job again cause of Covid, and couldn’t afford to pay it or anything for that matter. I asked for a move out special and it was outrageous so I couldn’t do it. Lost my whole storage, memories from my boys when they were babies, etc. Lesson learned. I’ll never go through them again if I ever need a storage. Payment method options are extremely limited and the staff are not helpful or friendly..

The staff there are all lazy, the don't help with anything, they steal from you and they are not willing to listen to anything. I didn't move out from this facility they stole my belongings from me and sold them. My mother passed away on February 10th 2023 and they either sold my unit or emptied my unit while I was trying to setup and make funeral arrangements for my mother. The manager there Jermyne knew about the loss of my mother and took it as an opportunity to make some money on the side.

However, the constant storage unit price increases simply priced me out of being able to afford to pay for it on my limited social security income, especially when fuel is 3 times more expensive than it was a few years ago when food and everything else is going through the roof as well. When you call and reserve a certain size storage unit, call several times to make sure it's still reserved then go down to sign the lease just to get told they sold it out from under you. A reservation is a reservation. Definitely won't be recommending you to anyone and when it comes time for me to move I won't be using your truck either!!

Horrible the employee screwed up my truck rental and now I’m not able to move until Sunday and Monday and I’m supposed to be moved out but Saturday afternoon to my new home over three hours away now there’s absolutely nothing I can do about it but rent a hotel for two nights and wait to move until Monday all because I was charged for an extra large box truck when I thought I paid for a small pick up truck so not only did I pay for a truck I did not need which was conveniently at the storage I’m renting but now Iv got to pay for extra mileage to return the new rental miles away across town , not to mention I did not find out until after hours so I can’t do anything about since there closed now and completely booked out of pick up trucks and vans which are all I can safely drive the nearest rental it’s a 45 min drive from my house thanks uhaul for nothing now I moving day consists of rushing to load and unload an entire house hold by myself with my toddler and than drive three hours to unpack at my new house

I had initially reserved a 10'x15'x12' Drive Up storage unit under reservation # 703024-00107238 effective November 28, 2021. During the check-in process yesterday afternoon, I was told my unit was not available in size and convenience in terms of being able to drive up to it to unload my personal belongings. I requested this specific size and "drive up" convenience because of the number of boxes as I am relocating from another state, and inability to carry so many boxes back and forth due to a medical condition, but I did not realize I had to justify my request for a "drive up" unit. I am still bothered that my reservation was not honored and instead a huge inconvenience was imposed on me which I do not appreciate. I anticipate using your facilities for a period not to exceed 60 days, and when the time comes to retrieve my items, I request that manpower be made available from U-Haul to load everything onto another U-Haul truck at no cost to me for the manpower and rental of truck for the inconvenience. If you feel my request is above your ability to authorize, than I request you escalate this complaint to someone that will appreciate my business, honor my request, and make me whole. I hate that I can't access my unit 24/7. I have a very untraditional lifestyle which means I'll need to access my unit during untraditional hours, but I guess I can't because it's only for businesses. I think that's what the guy said. Anyway, thanks for being there when the need was dire, but I'd really like to access my possessions when I need to retrieve them. Maybe living in a 24/7 city screwed up my idea of "normal business" before 2020 did, haha. On the contrary- I had to switch to a bigger unit because the 5x5 was wicked small and I would have had to stack my boxes like a crazy person, so whoever the chick was who was there that Saturday helped me switch my unit that very moment without complication (at least on my end, I assume it was just as smooth on the other end, hopefully). I just moved back from Vegas and the amount of time you waste just waiting for the other end of any deal could make or break your existence there. It broke me for sure, so the quick business I've experienced with this u-haul location has been fantastic. And I REALLY appreciate how clean it is.

The General Manager Nxxk is an absolute embarrassment to the U-haul name. I can't believe they employ such an A-hole who thinks he is better than everyone cause he is the general manager. Nxxk is also a liar and won't admit to his mistakes. Before he was there U-haul was 100% the best in town. Now with employees like him i would rather sell all my stuff instead of dealing with him ever again. So sad U-haul has given a title to a non-deserving lieing no good person. My brother also rented a truck and before i told him my issues he stated did you deal with a big guy that is the general manager Nxxk? I said yes why? He said that guy is a real a-hole. So that tells you his charecter. I will never use U-haul again as long as they have that guy around and makesure everyone i know doesn't either.

Like that I could securely store items and not worry about dust, water or temperatures. I was told when renting that my unit was in temperature controlled area, but at check out was told it wasn't.

Since I work 8am to 5pm in Toppenish, and live in Union Gap I set aside weekends to utilize my storage unit there were times it was a hasssle to meet the 5pm closure.

Nasty! I found live ants in my stuff. The ants traveled to my new home.. I’ve never had them before I put my stuff in U-Haul I’m so unsatisfied with the way the manager handled it.. never refunded me

Dont move out of the storage unit early. They dont prorate. Lost over $60.00 because of not knowing this. Also, the staff is very lacking and with only one person working, he was rude!!!

Literally lied saying pest control comes in monthly. After years of business I realize that’s a lie. A complete lie at that! All of my belongings had rat poop.Then there was a few months I saw roaches

The checkout was easy and quick. Access was convenient . The only issue we had was how icy it was to access our inside unit. Otherwise loved the cover over the access doors.

Very, Very clean, I swear they wax their floors. No odors and we found no signs of critters. They even offer carts to haul all your boxes in with. I would definitely use this facility again!!!

My entire storage was stolen, uhall allowed some one to move out my entire storage unit and all of the contance and a u hall was rented in my name. Everything I own is gone
