The appliance dolly was broken and it was literally the "ONLY" one they have to rent. Had to come back the next day (make a second trip into town) to request a refund on the dolly which they did give me. I should have been given a "FULL" refund on the trailer as well for the HUGE inconvenience. The appliance dolly was just as much needed as the trailer to move a large refrigerator . Created a huge problem. They explained that corporate requires them to leave the dollies outside and they get stolen and that is why they only have the one that is broken. If that is true, then that is extremely foolish on corporates part to not at least require them to be chained up. Any fool knows that if you leave things outside they will get stolen!

I just can't understand why a company that spends so much effort in the pursuit of customer satisfaction would allow the worst quality windshield wipers on its truck merely to save a few dollars. I believe this is a safety issue, and that Uhaul is liable for any damage to people and property that stem from cutting corners like this. Unbelievable!

JAMES BThe truck that I rented had a squeak under the hood (possibly from a V-belt). It had old tree pitch on the hood, grill , and windows in the driver-side and passenger side doors. The driver’s door hinge squeaked while opening or closing it. I’m unhappy that U-Haul makes the previous condition known on a link, but the customer cannot see the link after a few hours.

It wouldn't take a maintenance person much time to have cleaned the trailer so I didn't have to deal with it. I commented to the staff of the problem when i returned the trailer.

They are always outnumbered by customers on the weekend. Although the staff handles it well and takes care of everyone without a moments pause. People are standing around watching these guys work their buts off while they wait their turn. All the customers talked about how unfair this was for the staff.

My friend couldn’t do that forever and it was too far for me to drive to make payments. Once again, lost my job again cause of Covid, and couldn’t afford to pay it or anything for that matter. I asked for a move out special and it was outrageous so I couldn’t do it. Lost my whole storage, memories from my boys when they were babies, etc. Lesson learned. I’ll never go through them again if I ever need a storage. Payment method options are extremely limited and the staff are not helpful or friendly..

During the check-in process yesterday afternoon, I was told my unit was not available in size and convenience in terms of being able to drive up to it to unload my personal belongings. I requested this specific size and "drive up" convenience because of the number of boxes as I am relocating from another state, and inability to carry so many boxes back and forth due to a medical condition, but I did not realize I had to justify my request for a "drive up" unit. I am still bothered that my reservation was not honored and instead a huge inconvenience was imposed on me which I do not appreciate. I anticipate using your facilities for a period not to exceed 60 days, and when the time comes to retrieve my items, I request that manpower be made available from U-Haul to load everything onto another U-Haul truck at no cost to me for the manpower and rental of truck for the inconvenience. If you feel my request is above your ability to authorize, than I request you escalate this complaint to someone that will appreciate my business, honor my request, and make me whole. Maybe living in a 24/7 city screwed up my idea of "normal business" before 2020 did, haha. On the contrary- I had to switch to a bigger unit because the 5x5 was wicked small and I would have had to stack my boxes like a crazy person, so whoever the chick was who was there that Saturday helped me switch my unit that very moment without complication (at least on my end, I assume it was just as smooth on the other end, hopefully). I just moved back from Vegas and the amount of time you waste just waiting for the other end of any deal could make or break your existence there. It broke me for sure, so the quick business I've experienced with this u-haul location has been fantastic. And I REALLY appreciate how clean it is.

I can't believe they employ such an A-hole who thinks he is better than everyone cause he is the general manager. Nxxk is also a liar and won't admit to his mistakes. Before he was there U-haul was 100% the best in town. Now with employees like him i would rather sell all my stuff instead of dealing with him ever again. So sad U-haul has given a title to a non-deserving lieing no good person. My brother also rented a truck and before i told him my issues he stated did you deal with a big guy that is the general manager Nxxk? I said yes why? He said that guy is a real a-hole. So that tells you his charecter. I will never use U-haul again as long as they have that guy around and makesure everyone i know doesn't either.
