Calvin H. on

Rating:

If the truck were full of gas to start, and the customer obligated to return it full (like a rental car), it would take some guesswork out of the rental.

Rating:

Quicker response when you deliver and bring the truck back. Too much wait time due to not enough emloyees working. They can’t keep up with the work load, but they sure were trying!

The fuel reading in the truck is almost always less than what’s shown as the starting fuel level on the paperwork

The recommended time a allotted on your online site is far from being accurate and the fact that the online site is so difficult to use but you really do have to just either call the 1-800 number or find one in person to actually get a reservation is ridiculous but overall I'd give you 5 Stars by the fact that you are always there but we need you

I rented 2 trucks, 2day apart. the first truck started running on 7 cylinders part way through the trip, the fan belts started squealing and the alternator started intermittently failing about halfway through as well. When I turned the truck in, the attendant told me his computer showed the truck had already been flagged for maintenance and shouldn't have been sent out. When I went in to rent the second truck, I asked about a military discount(I had been given one for the the first truck at the rental location), and was told to show my ID when I dropped off the truck and they would apply it there. When I dropped off the second truck, I asked about the military discount and was told I had been lied too. If they offed a military discount, it would have to be applied at the rental location. I paid more for a 20 foot truck than I paid for a 26 foot truck! I will never, repeat NEVER use u-haul again!
