RICHARD KI couldn't of asked for a better experience than the one I had today. David the manager was attentive in answering my questions during the walk-around of the van I rented and Luisanna was knowledgeable and explained the renting process very carefully. Both David and Luisanna provided excellent customer service making this location my go-to UHaul location.
MARIA GOur particular truck was a gas guzzler. We used $81 of gas for 130 miles of driving around n generally flat roads with a moderate load. And yes, the tow light was turned off.

JACOB II find it remarkable that management allows this location to be understaffed. The ridiculous number of steps your employees have to complete to sign a vehicle out to a person leads me to ask "are you kidding me"? Then to not have enough people checking customers in and out of the rental office. Maybe management should get off their ASS and help them out!! I rated this poor, not because of your employees but because management provides no support to them.

MOHAMMAD RThe check-in / check-out system via the UHaul app and the Pixel coding ( ? ) is simply unacceptable. IT DOES NOT WORK ... AT ALL. My IPhone ALWAYS is able to 1) read pixels 2) has the Google Map locator working ... EXCEPT WHEN I TRY AND USE THE UHAUL APP. I have rented vans from Uhaul ( and the location on my contracts ) twice in the last month, and I have been unable to make use of your App. I have had to call into your 1-800 number to turn in my vehicle both times after trying EXTENSIVELY to make use of your App. I am POSITIVE that my complaints here are joining a long list of other customer complaints about this App. WHAT BARCODE or PIXEL am / was I supposed to be taking a picture of, the one on the door of the vehicle ? ? ? ? I could not get any of the photos taken on the check-in, the App simply would not function correctly. I am going to try and find another company to rent from asap. The customer service / employees at the 65th Sacramento location were very nice and did a good job, I don't think it's their fault the UHaul App is such a mess. UNACCEPTABLE, folks. You have people working at these location that should be doing the check out inspections and not forcing the customers to do it. F I X I T ....

PETER CThe truck didn’t have the correct amount of gas in the tank. I had to put gas in the truck right away. I put in too much gas and was only credited for $10.00. What a joke. The lock wasn’t on the key ring and had to turn around and get it. I would never recommend this company
peeny bI marked, YES on the "clean and well maintained" question. That was based on the inside of truck. Would be nice if the outside was also cleaned. The outside of truck was very dirty. But the employees at that location were extremely kind & friendly, so I didn't complain.

DANIEL CVehicle and order was ready when I arrived. Everything was as ordered and no wait time in getting vehicle. This was a day rental so being able to park my personal vehicle on the property was also extremely important to me. Staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Would definitely do business at this location again as well as recommend to friends and family.

ALTON SI guess to just warn people that they need to bring any kind of plug-in attachment for recharging their phone- it had only had an iOS adapter and my phone nearly died on the trip. GPS was essential this trip. Truck ran absolutely great and the ease of making the reservation & returning couldn't have been better. Many thanks.
SUSAN MThe first time I tried to put gasoline into the vehicle upon return, at first I smelled a strong gasoline odor. Then, gasoline was spraying back out and then pouring onto the ground. Gasoline was not getting into the tank and it took me four small gasoline transactions to get it back to where it was. Other than that it did fine.

CHARLES WThe agent attempted to overcharge me for the rental initially, and being unable to do that, a "cleaning" charge was added when the vehicle was returned. So they get their money one way or another. I would neither use this location nor would I use UHaul again, and would recommend others not do so either. Clearly there is a corporate mandate to squeeze as much money out of each transaction as possible, by any means possible.

ASWAD HFriendly staff. The average rating is directly related to the condition of the truck. The driver's side mirror on the 10 ft. truck I rented would not stay in position. It would swing open too far every few minutes after adjusted it, so I couldn't see any cars in the lane to my left when trying to change lanes. It was dangerous since the vehicle is so large. Ruined my first Uhaul experience, created a VERY stressful drive to and from our pickup and drop off location, and has made me rethink spending $120 to rent another one in the future. How does Uhaul usually address situations like this?
DEREK TClayton was exceptional in making my reservations in an orderly and timely manner. I was able to simply go into the U-Haul location, identify myself, finish the paperwork and leave within minutes of my arrival. When I returned, Clayton was also there to check me back in and email my receipts to me. I can't ask for anything more! Thanks for a great experience!!!
