I tried to return the truck to this location and the owner refused to except the truck he said he was busy and he needed the room to work and told me I’d have to find somewhere else to turn it in. That’s not professional! I paid for extra mileage and spent my own time trying to find a place to turn the truck in, just not right!

RYAN FThe appliance dolly didnt have no rubber on the wheel and that made it hard for me to move. I had to continue to extend my time due to damaged equipment and i had to pay a few people at the last minute and wake people up out there sleep at 10pm to help me. A very inconvenience. My account was also debited 3 times for almost 300.00 . This location is horrible and ill never rent from uhaul again, it cost me alot of money and i could have just hired movers for all of this, due to the amount of money i cashed out and it wasnt in my budget. Im very disappointed.

SANDRA WI booked a truck through the U-Haul app using Mobile Pick-Up because it showed the exact equipment I needed at a location close to my home. The reservation was confirmed — address, equipment, everything. No warnings, no alternate options. But after the reservation went through, U-Haul silently changed my pickup location to a spot farther away without giving me the choice to keep my selected equipment or pick another nearby location. This change added about 5 extra miles each way and roughly 30 minutes of additional travel time, none of which I agreed to. When I called customer service, they told me there was nothing they could do. They said they reduced my mileage rate to $0.89/mile, yet when I actually checked out in the app, the rate still showed $1.09/mile. So I ended up paying extra mileage and gas for a detour I never chose. To be clear: I still needed the rental, and I used it — but the experience wasn’t what I was promised when I booked online. U-Haul promotes a $50 Reservation Guarantee if they can’t honor your original booking. Based on what happened, it feels like this situation should qualify. All I wanted was the truck I booked, at the place I selected. Instead, I ended up with extra miles, extra time, and extra charges caused entirely by U-Haul changing my reservation after the fact.
