The online pick up process needs to have an easy to follow customer guide with screenshots on the wall for everyone to follow. The poor guy at the counter had to explain the process to everyone customer and do the paperwork and keep the line going and check in the trucks. He did a good job multitasking but it was chaotic and time consuming.

Ross TThe safety chains would not stay connected. Each time I stopped they were dragging on the ground. I had to purchase a set that would stay clipped. U-haul reimbursed me for the purchase which was nice.
Michael BYour service was one of the easiest processes I have ever used. It was easy to rent for the day and drop off the next day. I would use your service again, and the vehicle was nice and clean. And it is good to know you have storage facilities to rent as well.

Eric FWhen the location doesn’t have the dollys and packing materials or blankets that you need, they need to be able to refund them immediately. I was unable to get my credit there, when I returned it I was told to call 1-800 and they offered to just cancel tha part of the contract. I should have.ibstead I texted the manager at the location where Ivpicjed up yesterday three times. Was told she would immediately respond and fix the issue. She didn’t even have the decency to acknowledge receipt of my text or its escalation. I was will never recommend or use U-Haul again because of this nightmare.

Marvin BThe U-Haul app/online pickup is absolutely trash. I had a horrible time with it like 5 years ago or whenever. I can't even remember it's been a bane in my experience. It took me 45 minutes to try and go through the app and it kept on repeating. Then I had to call customer care and then that was back and forth. Trying to sign the vehicle back in. I kept on getting locked on step 2 of 5 and it kept on repeating. If you want a good experience checking in, do not use their app for check-in.

Beth SCheck in was very frustrating, 1 person working on a Saturday morning. I did all the pre check in online and still had to register once I got to the store. I gat called 3 hours before my return time time claiming I missed it, I had to tell the attendant I had an email confirming my 6 hour window before he would extend my time. The entire process was frustrating.

cooper bI suggest the sales rep spend more time with the customer pointing out the very important point of ensuring the customer brings the truck back with NO Less gas than to begin with. You note this in the contract, but the two charges for not doing this are significant. Yes, it is incumbent on the customer to read the contract, but an extra comment from the rep would certainly be helpful.

leon LI stop by location to pick up truck and trailer was very filthy inside also trailer was was a lot trash inside I talked agent he try to used blower but blower battery is was not charge can’t do it any way i stuck there 1hr and 30 minute to do easy transaction
AHMED STwo customer service agents were not friendly nor helpful. Didn't seem they wanted to be there at all. I had to ask any questions I could think of. They also didn't know I had reserved dolly or pads.

Ericka JMake sure when you come in to drop off your rental that they make you sign something and check your rental back in right in front of you. Drop mine off at 9:40 am yesterday after I picked it up at 8. Dropped it off then I get a call after 1 pm saying I never dropped it off. Maybe if both guys working weren’t high as a kite when I came in to pick up and drop off then they would have remembered me coming in at pick up and drop off. Next till I’ll use a different company cause this place has gone down hill even tried to over charge me and charge me for another day since they said I never returned my rental truck. So yeah I’ll never rent anything from this location any most likely not from uhaul ever again.
joshua hThe guy behind the counter put insurance on the trailer without asking me and when I questioned him he told me that u-haul do not allow customers to use their own insurance so I explain to him that I had rented vehicles from uhaul before and I did in fact use my own insurance his reply was " don't look at me I'm only telling you what my manager told me" also I rented a furniture dolly and it was in such bad condition that it made moving that much more difficult....

Rebecca AWhen we arrived, after checking in and turning on the van, the dash warned of low tire pressure and requiring an oil change. I didn't want that van. There was another van parked next to it but the workers at the location couldn't find the keys. Then they tried to give us another vehicle and couldn't find the keys for that one. They also said the vehicle wasn't in their system. We finally were given a truck (instead of a van) but the whole process delayed us by 30 minutes. A few days ago I had rented a truck and it was terrible. The driver's seat was lopsided, the wheel was shaking/vibrating, and the windshield wipers made a deafening sound like nails scratching on a chalkboard. The whole online check in process is annoying, having to scan a qr code and upload photos but the app doesn't work properly, even though I did all of the scanning and uploading the night before. Why isn't the info just kept on file in your account, that would save the hassle of checking in online twice for the same reservation. Another time I reserved 2 days prior, I was around 30-40 minutes late and they canceled the reservation.

JERMANJITT SThe people at this location were nice, but less than helpful. U-Haul has moved to using its buggy, slow app to “verify” renters. Gone are the days of walking into a location and getting the keys and driving off. It took me 30-45 minutes to rent a truck that I had already reserved when it should’ve only taken 5 minutes. Terrible experience.

RAQUEL DI had a reservation at this location, and my time was very limited, I arrived at the location but there was no one in the store I waited for 20 minutes and search for the workers I could find anyone then I called customer service and asked them if someone works here then the connected me with store a lady answered I was able to here her from inside the store, then after 30 minute wait she come out and she was very upset and rude, and then she start questions i give her reservation number and she was kind of why she help customer and she reacting very rudely and took 20 more minute finally I lost 45 minutes to take the truck. I couldn’t understand why she selected to work at that store but the only thing there was a guy he was really nice I don’t what was his name. I can say please assign some customer care training for that lady I was very regretted why I come at this store for those services. Thank you!

Marc HThere was a young man who helped me he was super helpful and great customer service. He had a lot of customers and there was a female working with him who was not helping him and actually left to run an errand and left him alone approximately 2:30-3pm
Oswaldo VNot sure there is anything the store can do but it was a little frustrating to schedule an in store pickup only to then do everything on-line anyway myself with guidance from the employee. Had I known the steps to rent the truck were the same in-store or on the app I would have done the app ahead of time. Not an issue with the employee, just the process. Thanks
Jeffrey SThe truck is in very poor condition. Leaked oil on my driveway. The process took forever. The system is very rude investigating me as if I am a criminal coming to steal something from you. Crew tried to help but they were looking at me if I am stupid person done know how use system. I have filled everything at home online but found out I have to go they the process again. I don’t recommend U-Haul at all. Will never rent from you.

Cindy NCustomer experience was awful. I was charged for insurance after the fact never signed up in fact declined. Store was unwilling to correct the issue or address it. They stated had to contact general manager for refund. General manager never returned text or phone call. The employees were not knowledgeable. I was suggest training employees on customer relations

margaret sThe rental check-in wanted me to use my phone to do the rental, but I had reserved the trailer rental on my computer so I didn't bring my phone with me. I don't know why U-Haul relies so much on people using their phones, but it doesn't seem to accommodate computer users.
DONALD PStore rep was very rude and unhelpful. Online process was unnecessary given we still have to finalize with a rep. Pick up and Drop off process was too long.
