Terrible. I got charged for gas and got an empty truck and charged for a dolly, that wasnt provided.

The person in the store today was a really great person took time to help me get things done very patient cleaned out the truck before I got there and when I brought it back, he quickly looked over and made sure that everything was OK. Really great employee.

The entire check-in process had to be done online or through the Uhaul app despite an employee being there. I've never had to to this before for a rental before, and usually I can get customer service from a human. Once I finally got all the steps complete, which took 30 minutes, I had a truck that was nearly empty of fuel, so I had to get fuel before I could even start my in-town moving job. The truck itself had a check engine light on, and a loud rattle coming from under the vehicle, and the alignment pulled the truck sharply to the right. The vehicle was clean, but I just wish the mechanical condition was better, and that the pick-up and drop-off processes could have been done with an associate rather than online, since I had to keep coming to the guy for help ayway.

Promised two different install dates each one canceled, first one because part didn’t come in. second one they couldn’t find the part. Told they were going to ship overnight from Chicago and let me know a new installation date. Nothing yet very disappointed with this whole process.

When returning I had a challenge removing the trailer from my vehicle by myself. Having some sort of handle or jack would be helpful. I arrived on time to return but took me about 30mins to get it removed.

The guy that was there when I picked the truck up at 7am on Friday was very nice and personable. He took the time to explain the process and assisted with everything we needed. However there was someone different when we dropped the truck off at about 4 pm and his customer service skills could use some work.

I was charged for two days and only had the equipment for one day and in addition was charged for another day once I returned the equipment totaling 3 days for a one day rental.

There was only one gentleman Mark and he did his best. I had a 9 o’clock pick up and I did not leave there till 1030. Apparently the truck that I rented was on the lot and I don’t know if I believe it or not, but I was waiting on a key that didn’t get delivered till late. The truck was on empty but the truck was brand new with only 250 miles on it the truck was clean but once again I don’t see how the truck was on the lot and I still had to wait an hour and a half to get my truck But the worst experience of all was the customer service rep that confirm my truck was very rude and unprofessional sounded like she hated her job

Fast and efficient. They lack parking for customers. The parking lot can use fresh painting. The use of the app or links was excellent. The return was seamless.

I spent over 40 minutes just to get the key for the truck. The guy was super slow & by himself. Then he finally gave me the key & there was another truck parked in front of it. He came outside & said he will move the front truck (because I couldn't take condition pictures) & disappeared for another 10 minute. I had to go get his ass. Then he had tge nerve to ask me if I will bring the truck back on-time because there is another reservation for it after. I said "I don't know, I'm still here"!!!

The cargo van was practically brand new! Check in was super easy. The app made things run so smoothly! Thank you to the UHaul man. He was so polite and helpful with everything… the app included! Check-back-in was a breeze! Thank you!

Customers should be told in advance they cannot leave their vehicle on the U-Haul lot. I was told to park across a six lane highway and the agent bought the truck to where I was parked in the morning. That was great. But when I returned the U-Haul the agent would not help me get across the six lane highway to my car. I walked across the highway against my better judgment but I am 70 years old. I was tired and frustrated. Next time I’m going to find a dealership where I can leave my car or get someone to drop me off and pick me up.

The extra steps of the pickup such as adding additional contacts or employment verification should be done prior. Ridiculous that the renter needs to wait for someone to hopefully answer the phone to pickup a truck already reserved especially if on a schedule. It cuts into the reserved time.

Smelt like urinal once you walked in. Only one person was working and it was very busy. He was running in and out cleaning out vehicles for the customers there for pick up and also managing those like myself dropping off. Definitely need more than just one person working on a Saturday to assist the customers properly. He tried his best but didn’t help the app wasn’t working either.

Trucks were not available for my daughter who had a reservation the day before. My truck was there but the tech said I could get the truck at 8:30 AM. Location didn’t open until 8:00 AM. Also people need to be forewarned that the online process at the store takes at least 30 minutes. Also the truck didn’t have any gas. We were 1 hour behind schedule because of all these issues. On the positive side the truck was clean and the price very reasonable.

There was nowhere to park in order to pick up our rental truck. We were instructed to park at the shopping center across Route 40 and walk back over. If this UHaul property does not offer temporary customer parking, that needs to be stated either on the website or in email communication so customers are made aware of this beforehand.

I started at the location on W. Northern Parkway. I reserved a 20 ft. truck for 11am.i got there 15 minutes early and they didn't have the truck. The salesperson gave me the run around for a few minutes about the money for the guarantee. Telling me that the other location would take care of it. The location at Catonsville did a good job other than the fact that they wanted me to do all the checks by myself. They did accommodate me with a few discounts because they still didn't have the size truck I wanted.i didn't leave with a truck until 1pm and I reserved one for 3hrs earlier.

Get new truck. The truck has 140,000 miles on it. It rides rough, it is noisy in the cab, it feels the front-end is worn, braking is not responsive like newer vehicles, and no USB ports in the cabin for charging devices. It feels like a worn-out old truck. And the utility dolly feels the same with its small, hard wheels.

Fix your website and app for people to be able to check in an out faster. Your site sucks for loading pictures. STOP making it scan or let people take the pictures and upload them without out your box indicators because they don't hold the pictures. Makes me not want to use your services it's frustrating no matter what location I'm at.
