The first location that I was reserved to go to didn't have the trailer I had reserved when I got there. Then they didn't have hitches or harnesses or anything. No one ever called me the day before as promised. No one ever answered any of the numbers I had from the internet or brochures. It was a nightmare and caused us a huge delay in leaving causing a stressful hurried move. Not fun. Not cool. Very unprofessional. This was Charm City Auto in Halthorp, MD. We were sent down the road to another uhaul place for a hitch which was in Catonsville, MD. The guy here not only had everything we needed, he was helpful, professional and accomondating as we decided to just use one of his trailers instead of going back to the first place. Honestly I go out of my way not to use uhaul because of all the problems I end up with. The only reason I used uhaul this time was I wanted a trailer and not a truck. I think next time I may just get a truck anyways....from someone else.

I had my own insurance, so I decline additional coverage! And reply was we don't deal with insurance, we directly deduct from consumer debit or credit card . This is my second u haul and next time I might go to Home Depot truck instead. I own vehicle for 2 hours and paid 51 if I had from Home Depot it would even be cheaper and I would have received excellent customer care.

I was charged for an extra day due to miscommunication between reservation line and the store. I called to request to hold the truck for an extra two hours w/out being charged and was told it was feasible. When I go to pay the store clerk says that the reserrations desk left the message but since the store was closed the truck was reserved already so I was charged.

Every since I checked in the reservation number was switch with someone who name was similar to mine , what's the point of the reservation number if its not going to be used. The worker stated that the vehicle I reserved was not in because of the mix up because she told me I was late, which I pulled out my phone with the reservation to show my time. Once she got the reservation situated she was going to accommodate me with another bigger truck that I did not request ,I mentioned online said I would get $50 toward the reservation since the vehicle was not in, luckily someone returned there vehicle early which was the same vehicle I was renting. The name on my account is still incorrect ..and to make matters worst , when I received this email with the survey , I have another email of someone else by the name of Rodney Brown who must have asked for his receipt to be emailed to him and the attachment of his vehicle damage report. If I have his info who know who has mine. I wasn't going to fill this out at first until I opened the other email. I don't know why all the mix ups are going on but it is not professional

The trunk was clean but it smelled horrible on the inside. The reason I rate it average overall is because just one person- swamped with people needing things. The girl who was working was excellent-knowledgable and friendly- perfect example of who you want working for you.

The location of this store is very convenient and the store was packed with supplies. However, the inside of the cab was dirty (the beverage holders had caked on dirt). The inside of the truck (where items are packed) was clean.

I have used this location three times within the last 2 months because it was closer for me. Each time there has been and issue with the General Manager Damon with his attitude or customer service. This last time I had a 7 am pickup I wasn't serviced until 7:30 am after waiting for him and another associated to check in vehicles. I feel a customer shouldn't have to wait until this is done. He told me I had to wait because he wasn't ready to start business at 7:05 am. I hope that things will change because this is unacceptable. If you open at 7 am you should be customer ready. He also needs to change the way he addresses the customers about stopping on lot or being drop off with less attitude because people can read. Otherwise, the other associates I have encountered have been very polite and good customer service . Thank you for your assistance .

Pamela was EXTRAORDINARY!!!!!!!! She did everything from running the front counter, to cleaning and checking trucks. She was polite and greeted me up upon my arrival. There was a line when I picked up and dropped off the truck, but she took care of EVERYONE and there were A LOT of people!!!!!! Her counterparts barely did anything. She needs a RAISE and it's WELL DESERVED!!!!! The location seems to have enough trucks, just not enough staff working.

I thought my original reservation location closed at 6 but it closed at 5, so I was too late to pick up a truck there. Called the 1-800 number and Tracy was amazing at helping me. Within a minute, she had transferred my reservation to the new location, and I was able to continue my daughter's move without missing a beat. Awesome customer service! Thank you!
