U-Haul attached a 6x12 trailer to my Rav 4. It was too low, so they tried to sell me the exact hitch I already had , but upside down rather than have me turn mine upside down. When I drove out, I could feel that my car was not going to be able to pull the trailer. When I got home, I did some research. The rav can pull 1500 lbs, the empty trailer was 1900lbs. I trusted them to know if my car could pull the trailer since this is what they do.

Very professional, efficient service
KIRK LNot sure who was responsible but I dropped my car off at 9;00 am and was told there was only one car before me and that I should be able to pickup my car in a couple hours. No word from anyone by 2:00 so I called and “somebody” had ordered the wrong part for the installation before me so they had to drive to get the part from Arvada! So instead I wasn’t contacted until 5:45 that afternoon that my car was ready. I couldn’t reach the U-Haul facility directly and kept getting rerouted to UHaul central phone lines who wasn’t able to contact them either. When I picked up the car the receptionist said they should’ve taken my car first when they noticed the problem, since mine was a very simple installation with no wiring! The experience was very frustrating as I had to wait all day for what I was told should’ve been a quick turnaround and the communication from this facility was unsatisfactory to say the least.

PATRICK MReserved two things, moving van and appliance dolly. Confirmed reservation. Arrived to find van available, but no appliance dolly available. Only able to complete half of the job due to this and was too short notice to reschedule. Maybe actually carry the equipment that you allow to be reserved or don’t allow reservations for equipment you don’t have. Also computer system went down, delaying the pickup of at least 2 customers ahead of me in line due to waiting for the system to restart to complete transactions.

The only pain with U Haul in general is the typical corporate nonsense. Luckily there's a UHaul nearby and we could go in and rent a truck. If we had to do it over the phone or on line with your corporate shananagans it would have taken an hour at least.
FREDERIC DMy only complaint was that I received the vehicle with 3/8 tank of gas. Fortunately it was enough but disconcerting none the less. Everything else was done well.

GINO SLess hidden fees. What I was quoted online was not what I had to pay in person. Felt deceived and doesn't make me happy about using your services. I know I'm stuck and it's one of the only options in town, but know that I'm not a fan of you.

I thought the whole point of using the app was to not have to deal with people. Even after I mentioned the fact that I was using the app, he still insisted that I was supposed to do it through them.

I will never use this place again and I am gong to Uhaul corporate to ask how long have they been running a scam like this. My lasst bill when I picked up the van for a thity mile trip was 90 dollars. They charged me for 195 dollars.

MARK BI could have given 5 stars. I have no complaints, everything is great, except the bill! I rented a small van for 4 hours. I did exactly 15 miles with it. I accept the electronic invoice, and when I check my emails, I see an additional bill for 3 gallons of gas and almost 50 dollars more! Technically, that would mean that a small GMC van gets 5 mpg 😂 The explanation is simple. The team that manages the Uhaul site takes a photo of the vehicle's gauge when you return it, on a slope. You will see it when you return the vehicle, it is a significant slope, which lowers the fuel gauge. Don't get fooled, park the vehicle on a flat area outside the return zone when you return it, and take photos of the gauge when you pick up the vehicle and when you return it. I had to spend 30 minutes on the phone with second level support to get my refund...

GREGORY ETruck had an obvious leak from the front axle. If I hadn't noticed it I'm sure we would have had a breakdown and/or bearing failure during the course of our trip. The person running the shop suggested that we contact roadside assistance to have it serviced. We did so, and the seal was replaced promptly. I'm concerned that I was the one to notice this and it was missed by UHaul personnel.
