Include a short length of rope, to use in keeping the left of the side doors from swinging shut whenever the van is on any even slight tilt in the driveway. I happened to have such a piece of rope, that worked well between the hinges on the rear door, and the handle on the left side door. RECOMMENADTION: include a suitable length of rope or heavy twine with the rental.

Not one single employee could answer my questions. There was no available storage unit at the location, so we had to dive 30 mins away to unload our truck. The employees promised I would not be charged for having to hold on to the truck for a a few extra hours to go to a different u-haul to unload the truck, but I was charged anyway for their mistake. Truly terrible service and will make me think twice about renting a u-haul ever again.

taje care of yr equipment. i rented this van last friday & it said "oil change required". the clerk said it would be done when i returned it. then as i'm driving an orange light "i" comes on. then i rent again today and still has orange light illumiinated & "oil change required" message on dash. rather disconcerting as a renter. i also had a $25 clening charge on a contract at the end of july. replied to the email given on the contract, called uhaul, sent email to "supervisor". no response. atrocious customer service. when i returned the van today, i talked to the mgr. yes he says he refunded the erroneous charge (no explanation for charge) but still no paperwork confirming his claim & $ not on my card. more atrocious customer "service". COMMUNICATION IS THE NAME OF THE GAME.

The girl that checked the truck out to us told us that our credit card would not be charged until we returned the truck at our drop off location, but my card was charged the same day that I picked up the truck. Poor customer communication.

Speed up time at the front desk.



The check out was easy and fast. The employee helping me at the end did a nice job and was helpful. The truck was in great condition and easy to drive. I was very happy with the experience.



When you make a reservation you should honor it. You should not expect customers to go to another town to pick up equipment that has been reserved. For example I had a reservation for a trailer but was told I had to go to Fort Collins to get it.

I had to wait quite some time to pick up a trailer I had reserved. I hold no ill will towards U-Haul or personnel. Apparently, new staff had recently been hired and they were not yet trained so the manager on site was doing a huge amount of work and their happened to be another client taking out a trailer just before. I'm sure things will improve as the staff becomes more knowledgeable and experienced.

They did not return my driver's license at rental and I had go back and pick it up, but they were helpful when I called to inquire.

They refused to refund the unused moving supplies because I could not find the receipt. Uhaul should have a record of the purchased supplies. Furthermore why would uhaul hassle a customer who just spent $700 on a rental over a few dollars for unused boxes.
