Tell customers the truck got ate reserving may not be available... And you may try to put them in a smaller truck. The customer service agent didn't offer an alternate site to get a26 ft truck until I said I couldn't very by with a20 ft truck. No thought or problem solving occurred with the person calling to confirm a truck. Why would it be ok to offer a smaller truck on a one way move? It's not like we could make more trips.

The pickup truck operated fine, but I feel that your staff is not enforcing cleanliness of the load bed every time a truck is returned. I had to spend a significant amount of time removing debris and washing the bed of material leftover from rentals prior to mine, before returning the truck.

There is no local parking for a car which has been transported. The closest spot is 4 to 6 blocks away. The staff seem to be too busy to help or explain well. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

When we agree on a drop off location, and I pay over $300, I expect U-Haul to stick to that agreement, which did not happen. We agreed I'd drop the U-Haul off in Silverthorne only to come to realize the silverthorne location shut down, inconveniencing me to drive 40 miles both directions to and from Kremling - which was the "closest" location available, since silverthorne shut down. I've used the silverthorne location a few years ago, which is a mere 6 miles from where I live. I expected the associate in Boulder to know that location shut down before he told me I'd be able to drop off there. When discussing this issue with customer service agents/manager, they did not offer any sort of compensation for this inconvenience except for a $50 coupon on my next rental - however, I'll probably not go with U-Haul next time I need a truck.

The light in the cargo area of the truck did not work, which made all of the loading I had to do at night harder. The transmission of the truck had some issues. When braking while going down a hill, the truck would rapidly switch into low gear and get stuck there. Had to manually put it in 3rd gear to prevent it from doing that. There was some sort of beeping alert in the cab of the truck after shutting it off, that would not stop, despite all lights being off, the keys not in the ignition, doors closed. There was no way to make the beeping stop. Finally, being given a truck with 3/4 tank of gas and expecting someone to return it at that level is not really fair, because it's hard to estimate how much gas to put back in it to get it back to that level. Would be nicer to give people trucks with full tanks and ask for them to be returned full. I put what I thought would be enough gas in to get it back to 3/4, and ended up being charged $30 for gas.

I called and arranged the rental of a pick up truck so that I could tow a trailer (6'x12'). When I arrived, they refused to rent a pick up truck because I would be towing and insisted that I get a box truck instead. It is my understanding that uhaul allows pick up trucks to be rented for towing, but the owner/manager of this particular location (Frank Muse) refuses to allow pick up trucks to be used for towing. I am very upset that they refused to honor the rental arrangement that I had made over the phone. The trailer was also a uhaul rental, and I was frustrated with that rental as well. The motor home I was originally using to tow the trailer blew the transmission, and I am frustrated that Uhaul refused to help us transfer the hitch from the motor home to a uhaul truck. They only offered to call a tow truck, which we would have to pay for. We ended up having a towing company move the trailer from where we broke down to the destination so that we could unload it and then rent a uhaul truck as mentioned above to be able to return the trailer. Additionally, when we picked up the trailer in Michigan, it had a flat tire, which suggests that you don't generally maintain your equipment. I will definitely not be doing business with this uhaul location again, and I am unlikely to do business with uhaul at all in the future.

the trailer fell ood of my pickup truck within the first 5 miles which left me dragging the trailer by the chains down the road. I stopped to re-install the trailer and the safety brake had deployed andxwas so corroded that it took me 15 minutes to get the brake back into position and half a can of wd40 and it threw my back out . I tried to call the uhaul office I picked it up from and could only get a regional operator that just said oops sorry. CRAPPY SERVICE !!!! never will I trust someone else to install and tighten down a trailer for me.

Barely any trucks were available the one small truck I did get was repainted inside and was rented to me while the paint was still wet so your truck got paint on my speaker and only god whatever else.

The trailer we requested/reserved was not available so we had to accept a smaller one requiring two trips. The attendant did compensate us by reducing the cost of the smaller trailer, but there was no way he could compensated the time difference for two trips.
