The staff was not very knowledgeable. I asked for a truck that could tow a mini excavator on a trailer. The hitch on the box truck provided was not up to the task. As a result I wasted my time and money.

The staff took 30 min to get me the truck with no one in line. They then tried to shorten my reservation by telling me to return the car 30 min early even though I had a reservation for two hours. The truck was clean but the driver side visor didn't work properly. When I dropped it off I was once again had to wait 30 min with just one person in waiting and three people on staff. Shouldn't take an hour to prep a truck for just a two hour reservation. Employees didn't care. Ubforuntantley even though the price was good, I won't be going to this U haul again.

I had to sign the fuel level for the truck without viewing it. When I viewed the fuel level it was lower than what I signed for on the papers that were printed with my signature on it which was disappointing.

Make sure the equipment is really ready for rental. I rented a tow dolly with a tail light that did not work. The clerk helped get the trailer onto my hitch then told me the light didn't work. He switched the wire extension with a new one and told me that it was fixed. I then proceeded to load the broken down car to haul for 3.5 hours thru the mountains of Colorado hoping to get home by 11 pm. After loading the car I stopped to grab a quick bite to eat and checked the lights again on the trailer. Amazing but the one tail light was not working again. I went to a O'Reilly's to make sure the plug and my truck didn't have a loose connection or a broken wire. They confirmed that the truck wiring was fine. Called road side assistance around 845 pm. Was told it would be an hour before the repair man arrived. He arrived around 930. Took the tail light apart and the ground wire was broken in half (how did it work in the beginning -- I think the clerk was lying to me all along as he just wanted me to leave). The repair person said the entire light was wired wrong too. He fixed all the wires and I was ready to leave at 10:03 pm finally....Too late to drive 3.5 hours back to the mountains. Had to stay the night in Boulder and head out the next morning. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS UHAUL company in Boulder. The repair man was GREAT. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and showed me the entire process of fixing the light to perfect working order. This should have been done at the rental shop before it was rented out.

I was told I'd have a free storage unit for a month for the rental of the 10footer. Got there and there were no rental units there. Had to go back to my new place and figure out how to store the boxes that were to go in the storage unit. No solution was offered by this location.

This was the worst rental experience I have had. First the truck I booked over the phone, I was told I would not be able to rent for more than 24 hours, even though I had booked a 4 day rental. I was then told that I had to come in earlier than I wanted to pick up the next size down truck. Once there, after signing and getting the keys to the truck, I did the walk around, and then had to wait for 15 minutes as a delivery truck was unloading supplies and blocking the exit. At the end of the rental, I needed to extend for 1 day. I returned the truck 24 hours and 30 minutes after the original return time. It took a few minutes for the guy to do the return, and then I was charged for 2 FULL DAYS EXTRA. When I bought this up with the manager, (the same one who made me change trucks and come in earlier to pick up the replacement truck) he told me there was no choice, and nothing he could do as my only allowed extendable time was 24 hours. This cost our small non-profit preschool $50 extra in fees, but I can assure you our whole community of over 100 families will be learning about this treatment, as will our 600 Facebook followers. I will warn everyone about using U-Haul, at least from this location.

Getting the uhaul was a last minute decision when we realized a friend's trailer was not going to work. The online reservation process was a breeze, pick up at store simple and quick. The Boulder location is awesome!

initially I have booked the U-Haul from the Location:Sensible Automotive at 9am on Jun3rd but when we reached that location the office was closed and no response from Sensible Automotive. I have call to U-haul customer service and the response was not satisfactory , they told me that uhaul website is not proper and asked me to simply cancel the order due to unavailability of trucks in spite of booking allowed for that location. finally they given me other location which is at Boulder and I have to Pay extra miles due to location change. For one I would shut down your u haul store at 11th and main in Longmont colo. I had a car hauler reserved and when I got there at 9 they were hooking it up to another car and he said to bad so I left called u haul upset and they found one 25 miles out of my way I lost a days work because had to change I'm work load around and had to move the car on Saturday my woman is still not talking to me the lady at u haul did promise me a fifty dollar discount hopefully your word is solid because I WILL be calling you to remind you what to told me on Thursday of next week I'm a man of my word hopefully you will just credit my card by then and I won't have to call to remind you have a good day

I did not want this location, but chose Nick's Auto which is 7 miles closer to my home. And the rental office on N Broadway was chaos. Two check out desks, people taking forever to do the check ins and out, and only one guy who actually knew what he was doing. Long lines, yuck.

Recommend adding email in addition to phone calls when arranging pickup location. My number was wrong in the system so I had no idea where to pickup my equipment. I would have received an email

I have been trying to submit a claim to dispute a charge and I am unable to finish the claim. The web page is not indicating why the claim will not go through; however, I am exceedingly frustrated with my lack of ability to file the claim on the webpage. I have tried re-starting multiple times. I have been trying for the last hour. In the meantime my friend went to the store directly and has hopefully resolved the claim.

Employee who got me checked in (and was the same who got me checked out) was very friendly, professional and communicate well. He made it easy and efficient to pick up and drop off.
