The gas gauge was about 1/8 lower than what was recorded on my contract but I returned it with a little more fuel than when I received it. I think it would just be best to rent trucks with the gas completely full and then this situation is avoided.

Estimate was roughly $50 but now that I checked out, it is $300! Wtf is right? The guy told me that I could drop off the truck at any uhaul location, as long as I called the customer service number. I did exactly that and he is now saying that he never said that! He smelled like weed and alcohol so I’m sure he wasn’t sober. I will contact my card company and say that this is fraud because I never authorized this amount!

Friendly service, fair price. Very good.

They were super cool. When I left my glasses in the truck I was able to get them back without issue, and they were super helpful.

Joshua did a great job of checking out and checking in the truck and making sure we had everything. When i returned to the car, my wife said "You're all done? That was fast!" Thanks Joshua

After closing hours, online truck return not particularly user friendly i.e. took awhile to find needed info. Your phone contact said "it was easy". Ha! Too many websites showing different info.

Josh was awesome! Thanks Josh!

I'm not keen on employees using their iphones to enter in my personal info. it was noted that it was for the app and taking a photo of my license, but I'm not comfortable with that. It's not necessary and it can be typed in. No need for my photo, now old address, and back of my license to be documented.

Guys were not helpful, the equipment I requested was not there completely.

The web-based self check-in is not an improvement. Could you hire more people?

Truck was not available as promised.

Clerk argued a long time that my printed invoice was wrong saying it was more money for a Friday and later said Friday 10:00 to Sunday 10:00 was a three day rental. He finally relented but...

First of all, the crew didn't put pads and dolly and i have to another trip to get the dolly and pads. I wasted my important packing time just driving to get truck and then dolly and pads. While returning the truck, the staff said, leave the truck and they will take care of it. They didn't ask me to wait so that they can perform inspection in front of me. Later on I was charged $25 dollars cleaning fee whereas the truck was clean.

Only thing is the cleaner they use is super strong and all my stuff now smells like that cleaner even a few days later after unpacking.

Lots of hidden fees, staff were uninformative, was charged 4x the amount we expected to pay

Seems that the guy in the afternoon didn’t communicate with morning guy. I waived the insurance but was still charged for it

All of the employees at U-Haul of Boulder were friendly and went out of their way to help me. I saw that same pattern of behavior repeated with at least three other customers. The challenge was the lack of coordination and communication — left hand/right hand kinds of problems: 1. The key to the 10-foot truck I rented had to be jiggled in the ignition for several seconds before the key opened the ignition, so I could start the truck. I had to ask about how to start the truck; instead of someone telling me that the ignition on this truck is a little tricky. 2. I rented a furniture dolly, but one was not provided for me. When I asked about it, everyone looked around and said, "Ah, I don't think we have one of those to rent you." So I purchased one from U-Haul of Boulder, which I ended up bringing back to the store for a refund because I never use it. Everyone at the store was ready and willing to help, and everyone was very nice, everyone just seemed kind of "out of it" in the morning when I arrived to pick up the truck. In the afternoon, everything was straightforward, even the refund on the furniture dolly.
