Given a damaged trailer and unable to access my car during transport. Told the metal might catch at a certain point and to just tug on it. I was not as strong as the man who demonstrated and was not successful - had to change my unloading schedule because of the bent metal.

Josue at the Boulder store was so awesome. Very helpful, kind, and very much different than the typical lackluster attendant. Highly recommend!

I was refused service at the agreed drop off location of 2995 28th Street in Boulder. I was tired after a long day, in an unfamiliar city and had arranged to be picked up at that location. I will never use U-Haul again nor recommend them to anyone.

The fuel gauge was at 1/8th tank and I got charged for 1/4 tank. Make sure that the gas tank is more full.

One guy was lying on the storage boxes and barely got up. The other guy did the paperwork while the first guy went back to lying on the boxes. Then he finally came out to check us in. Not impressive, especially since it was the second place we had to go to to drop off the rig.

Waited at the appointed area for someone to come out as per sign, but had to go and find them.

Customer service was less than i expected. Francisco was great. The other guy not so much. Definitely could use some training on how to smile and be generally more interested in customer satisfaction.

The young man (?) who hooked up the trailer was very friendly and helpful. Also the man working in the shop didn’t hesitate to help me change my hitch ball from 1 3/8” to 2”.

The guy who did the paperwork mumbled so badly I could not understand him, even after telling him I could not understand. He made no attempt to speak up and to speak more distinctly. Trailer chains drug on the ground from their hookup.

This was my second rental within a week. Last week the guys were very friendly, explained everything, etc. Today’s rental started out ok, but the return was not so great. A bunch of confusion. One person told me I could go, another said they were still checking the truck out. It took 1/2 hour. Looking at my receipt some charges were there that I was not told would be there. Such as a $25 cleaning fee? We swept your truck out. So there was $43.00 put on my bill. And the return today was not smooth at all.

I first visited the Louisville CO center. The owner didn’t have a van available but spent time finding where I could rent one. Very helpful and much appreciated. Estimate from Boulder center was spot on!
