I have been coming to this U-Haul every summer for many years to rent a cargo trailer for a week of camping. And I will continue to do so, because it is close to my home and the trailers are in pretty good condition. However, this time, the man who was there and in charge when I picked up the trailer was extremely rude. He was not polite to the woman he helped in front of me, and I could tell she was very uncomfortable. He did not say hello to me and was very rude. After he hooked up my cargo trailer, he simply walked away, without saying anything. This employee has a real problem and seems to be a very unhappy person for some reason. I have never seen such rudeness in customer service before.

CHERYL BI have rented three uhaul trucks over the past several weeks, all from different locations due to availability. While the truck was clean inside, the gas guage was not entered correctly on the paperwork and thankfully, I had taken a photo of it upon leaving the pick up lot. I was charged for not refilling the tank upon return but I had! The charge was backed off after I brought the error to the receiving depot's attention but it may not have gone well had I not taken a photo. Also, the tire pressure came on when I was driving to return the truck. Glad this did not happen while I was in moving transit. The staff at the Campbell location was very friendly however.

As I'm sitting there walking and taking pictures and i should have got the employee discount since I was doing their work.uploading picture after picture., they're sitting in the shade in chairs. Total bullshit, even when you rent a car, they walk around with you with an iPad. They don't make you do it all.

MICHELLE GI went back the next day to retrieve my vehicle keys that I had left in the rental, from the White Oaks Rd, UHaul branch in Campbell. I got ‘help’ from two different staff members. Fortunately I was able to get my keys from the rental van thanks to the efforts of Peter who was happy to take me out to the vehicle and assist me. It was five minutes after the branch opened on a Sun am so the line of customers went from the counter to the door. Understandably the other staff member was ‘snowed under’ at the counter and too busy to help so it was great to have my issue resolved quickly from one of the supporting staff. Wanted to make sure that Peter got a mention in my review and your White Oaks Rd team get some praise for the overall experience we had with our van rental. Recommend this outlet to anyone in the Campbell/San Jose area.

JASON OHi, I was surprised that my reservation was updated with the person driving the UHaul when we picked up the vehicle. When we called to extend the trip, the 3rd party UHaul rep was the one who informed me of the change. I was also surprised to get communiations on safety by emai when I picked up the vehicle. It's clear that UHaul wants to automate things. however, I didn't want to download the app and was surprised to realize that the expectation for expediency and ease of use IS the app.

The person who checked me in was attempting to be humorous and sarcastic by telling me they weren't accepting any further registrations that day, and it was a big swing and a miss for me. I'd like to just get in and get out. When I was given the truck, the person who brought it up just walked away without saying a word to me. I'll go out of my way to go to another location next time. Some basic decency would go a long way.

SUSAN MI ordered a medium sized box truck and 2 dolly’s for a move, booked my appointment well over 2 weeks in advance. Arrived on moving day to pick up the truck and was told they had no dolly’s. I never received a call the day before to at least alert me. I was left in a very tough position the morning of, had to purchase 2 dolly’s from Home Depot costing me almost $200.

MATHIEU FI had requested a truck from Santa Cruz to Truckee, CA. Because there were no trucks available in Santa Cruz, I had to pick up my truck in Campbell which is 26 miles away. I was charged for the extra miles that I had to drive to get from Campbell to Santa Cruz. Not cool, U-Haul.

HAL CFirst car that was given to me was not clean but they immediately replaced it with a clean car. Prompt and friendly service by the desk person and the attendant. Will recommend and use in future.
SIDDHARTH MI rented the 10 ft van for 24 hours with a dolly and safe move. I picked the van on 6/7 at 2 pm and returned it on the same day at approximately 5:25 pm. I first attempted to return the van on the app but a man came to say that he would take of it and I would get an invoice shortly. However I never got one until 6/10. They say I returned the vehicle on 6/9 at 6 pm. This is untrue. On top of that, I was charged an additional day of rental charges (19.95, 7 for dolly, 15 for safe move). I had to call Customer service to file complaint and ask for a refund.

ROBERT GUhaul app for returning vehicle after hours requires too many steps and taking lots of pictures including where I parked the vehicle, dashboard, every side of the vehicle, inside of the vehicle, etc. A Uhaul employee should do this not the customer. Terrible app experience that made returning the vehicle waste almost 30 mins of my time vs. 5 mins with a human.
