The vehicle was completely fine and the people helping where all real nice but the online ordering of the vehicle was a joke. Website allowed me to make a reservation to only get canceled Peter that day
Our customer service rep was great. He helped us and went above and beyond to help us get the truck we needed. I cant re call his name but he was African American male. Truly grateful for his help.

My only complaint is that we received the truck with a 1/2 tank of gas. With our office move we completely forgot and returned the truck with a full $90.00 tank of gas for driving 25 miles. Trucks should be FULL when picking up. We should have been office some compensation or credit for this, instead we pay the full amount with the receipt showing the same 1/2 tank of gas.
It took FOREVER to check in, and one of the employees was rude when asked for help with the self-checkin app (which wasn't showing the self-checkin option). I would rather not deal with these workers. Fix the app, please.
The staff was rude and untrained to help the process of scanning the barcode outside. They had zero knowledge of how to do anything on line, especially checking in. The line was long with no difference for those who already had a reservation so I was waiting with people who were not reserved. Didnt maintain a capacity for Covid inside the store. Didnt have the door open for ventilation. Horrible experience
At this location, this time and previously, the workers have no concept about how to respect the line. There is one random guy who clearly doesn't care and keeps repeating that he doesn't know how to use the app, but he randomly grabs people out of line and tries to help them. Totally random. No respect for customer's order in line. The app itself is crap. Unusable!!!
Location Too Small or too many vehicles. Outside attendant rude. Charged for a dolly that I did not take. Closed at 5:00 I arrived at 5:10PM. Drop-off procedure took 30 minutes to complete. Left on hold for 30 minutes then hung up.
This is not a reflection on the individuals or location itself, but I found the process to try and do a contactless pickup and return a bit cumbersome. On the pickup, I was still asked to come into the office to upload my drivers license and set the contract status to be emailed, and on the return, I was unable to upload a picture of the dashboard to complete the return. As the individual there said he'd take the picture on his phone/equipment and upload it, i wondered why I had to take a picture after noting on the form what my fuel level and odometer reading was. If they weren't correct, then U-Haul could send me the picture electronically to correct me, but as it was, it took me over 20 minutes to return the truck because the attendant was busy with another return.
Person who handed me the rental was rude and unresponsive. When I approached him with a question he walked away while yelling â€œnoâ€ and that the â€œkeys were in the ignitionâ€.
Nice job by the staff, made it easy like Sunday morning!
They are very kind and letting know me how to use car carrier correctly. He did help to swap towing ball up side down to me.

Best experience I ever had at U haul
I reserved a 20' truck over a month ago with a pick up location in Union City, California. I ended up with a 10' Truck without a loading ramp and the pick up location changed 3 times. I had to drive 30 miles from Union City to pick up a truck smaller than what I reserved. This is extremely frustrating. To top everything off an agent called me Friday night last minute saying the pick up location has changed.

Got a good truck but it seemed like the steering wheel had too much play, meaning felt as if control arms were faulty, might wanna check it, other than that, team was friendly, professional and the gent that helped me with my truck return made things so easy, he was friendly and courteous give him a pay raise!!

Too much nickel and diming the customer at every turn
Everyone was so nice and apologetic about my bad experience. There was a line to return but they welcomed me and said "we will be right with you", someone came around and asked if I was just returning no need to stand in line. I told him there were a few issues and he said he would come out right away so I could show him.
Simple drop off, not much to review here.
