He also took my husbands driver's license info which was not needed as customer service, who I called later to find out how to add a driver, said that drivers didn't matter for trailers, as long as the car towing it was accurate.

The only issue is that I told them I would be returning on Sunday, but they did not inform me that I needed it back by 9am and everything would be billed every 24 hrs. from when I picked it up. So, when I brought it back on Sunday the bill was $45 more than the initial estimate because no one told me that I had to have it back by 9am. Called to discuss to see if they could at least take off the insurance which would take it down to my original bill. They said they would discuss and call me back. No one has. Which is very discouraging.

Alea DConfirmed on 8/14/2026 that they would assist with moving. On 8/15/2026 I rented the U-haul and texted Jon to confirm he would be at my house. He said he was running a bit behind. When I asked how long he said he was not coming at all as he was not available. AFTER I had rented the truck. They are not supposed to charge you until the job is completed and you enter a code but I have a charge on my card for the full amount which I am disputing with the card company. This is an extremely dishonest company. Not professional and no business integrity. DO NOT USE THEM.

Joseph CAthena and her staff took very good care of my rental contract. She went over and above to help me check out since the other staff were busy with customers. This was important to me as I was on a short timeline. I really appreciate her awareness of the customer's needs and her attentiveness.

Luis MThe vehicle given to me was unsafe. It had clearly been in an accident, and not inspected properly. There was a terrible pull to the right, a violent shimmy at speeds between 65 and 70mph (which you don’t find out till it’s loaded and on the highway), and the drivers side mirror was broken, causing me to have to stop every 45 minutes or so along the way. The whole trip felt very unsafe. Part way through, I was contacted by U-Haul to bring the truck back to a different spot than what was on the contract. This location was much further away, but I did it anyway, just to have no one check it in, and I got billed for being 9 days late. I have photos and videos backing up all this. What a terrible experience, and now I’m trying to fight for a refund for bogus charges.

Drivers door was damaged and had to be Slammed just to get it to close, Transmission seemed to be slipping, Visors were broken and blocking the windshield, Not even sure how to describe the Terrible condition of the driver's seat also got pulled over for a Headlight Out. And to top it off they charged me for Gas even though I returned it with More than I picked it up with 😡
Mike DYour system is slow and causes your employees to have delays. Their equipment is really old. The monitor and keyboards they are using are at least 5 years old. Give them better software.

Aimee BI arrived at closing time, the man was very nice and said he would take the keys as they were already closed down inside so I could do the mobile drop off. I made him aware I was confused as that was not the address I’d intended on returning it to but that’s what I was told. He was very kind and understanding.

Timothy SI've used this location many times over the years and usually everything is top notch in terms of efficiency, vehicle cleanliness etc. The issue this time is the vehicle had German roaches. I confirmed (too late) by pulling up the vehicle mats. They wanted to escape the hot vehicle and jumped into my furniture and boxes. It was a lot of trouble to get rid of them in my new residence. I was offered no discount or compensation by U-haul staff.

JANICE EMaybe don’t try to charge me for 2 gallons of gas when a total of 17 miles was put on the truck and I put 4 gallons of fuel before returning absolute joke charging 9.50$ for 2 gallons of fuel after only driving for 17miles and putting 4 gallons in it myself before returning

MIGUEL TUhaul Changed my pick up location without informing me. I ubered to pick up the truck and nobody was at location. I called uhaul and they informed me they changed location but never informed me. I had to take another uber to the correct location. VERY disappointing and stressful

Abdul MI appreciate how smoothly the pre-registration process was and how helpful the staff were in having everything ready at pickup. Dropping the U-Haul van was just as easy. The van was amazingly clean inside and outside. And, the store was very clean and organized for those who need additional boxes and other moving supplies. This was a very positive experience and highly recommended.
David MThe U-Haul of Clearwater location was relatively clean. I would recommend this location, but I would not call it inviting. The layout of the indoor facility seemed cramped with products and a multitude of boxes for sell, as if it had no other area for storage.
