They said Self checkout is new policy… very dirty truck, clearly not a best customer service but I guess thats fine.

I was charged almost the double of the correct value . I’m going to the location to check what happened. I was charged by the fuel but I drop the car off with a higher level of gas that when I picked up.

Make sure you keep human beings at the site. Do not fully automate it. I needed a human each of the three times I rented in the last couple of months.

They give a a truck with a malfunctioning window. Half gone steering wheel, dirty, smelly and the back was dirty also. The attitude of the man who rented me the truck was one of “I hate to work here” and I’m going to make you pay for My misery Worst experience, twice now, it was one time they rent me one that smelled like that had kill a pork in the cargo area, They obnoxious don’t clean the trucks and the maintenance is really poor

Issue with receiving refund of deposit. It has been well over 10 days since I have returned the truck and I have yet to receive my deposit that I was told that will be returned to me. I am not happy about this because it had made my account go overdrawn. I have yet to receive the money back. :( not satisfied due to having to call during working hours. Which is an inconvenience.

The first employee who arrived—about 30 minutes before opening—to prepare the store and organize the trucks took the time to listen to our problem and immediately helped us. She handled everything quickly, efficiently, and with such a positive attitude. Her customer service truly went above and beyond. Thanks to her dedication and kindness, we were able to get our truck and be on our way without unnecessary delays. She deserves to be recognized for her outstanding service. Five stars are not enough! Thank you so much for making a stressful situation so much easier.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The gentleman that helped us was very friendly and professional. He met us time we drove into the lot. He even helped me look for items that had fallen behind the driver's seat. The Crenshaw Uhaul site is my preferred location. The representatives are helpful and always pleasant.

The lot is small. Could have a little bit more clarification how to sign out of the truck rental online. Like a QR code would be fine that I could scan saying that I returned the truck.something like that.

You need real customer service. The pickup was time-consuming, and obnoxious. It shouldn’t all go through ann app or on a phone. People work there so why are they not allowed to actually give customer service? Doing it all through a phone app is stupid. Shouldn’t your company want to stand out, rather than follow a dumb trend of impersonal “service”? If I ever have a choice, I will refuse U-Haul simply due to this reason unless I hear that customer service is a new priority.

The UHaul app is more cumbersome to use than just calling or going in to see a customer rep. I reserved a van on line but then had to get in the app to get verified, despite having already provided the required information in line. The agent helped me navigate the app since I couldn’t fill out a form there. It just doesn’t make it either easier or faster to use the app. Keep the staff- make the app hybrid with the in site database.

Amazing location!!! The staff are so friendly. They greet you respectfully and I love the customer service. TJ and Leonard were so pleasant when I came in. Manager Kevin is so professional. The entire team is awesome. I will continue renting here. Very pleased with this UHaul location.

Everything went fine with my rental. Tracey helped me and she was very knowledgeable moving those big trucks around and handling that equipment to be so small. Very nice personality and the truck has been returned on 5/25/2026 at 2:07pm. The place is in an ideal location being right by the 10W freeway. Maybe a map of where the storage unit is located. My number is A252 but it is on the 3rd floor so it was a little tricky to find in the beginning. I would like to add that Kian who works there was extremely helpful and came up and kindly told me about the closing hours procedure. He gave me enough time to leave and was very kind in doing so.

Friendly and excellent service at the U-Haul of Crenshaw! They are very accommodating, patient, and knowledgeable. Definitely will return in the future!
