Exhibit a bit more integrity on price. When I made my original reservation, the price quoted was $1,100. When I had to change the pick-up date by a week, the price went up $300 to $1,400 with no explanation given.

S AEvery time I go in, there is some kind of drama or bad energy. The best customer service I have received is from Zena (sp?) and even she shows little enthusiasm or friendliness. The worst I received was from a dude (don't remember his name) but he was downright insulting and condescending. I've given you all more than one chance cause I DO like the trailer, the fair price, the location and the relative ease of transaction but the customer service is so bad I decided I'm gonna start looking for a new u-haul location from which to rent. All i'm asking is basic friendliness and human decency here.

Mukesh Tmy experience was much more pleasant this time than last. i believe my CSR was Zena? She was kind, prompt and professional, unlike the jerk who "helped" (more like insulted) me last time.

PHILLIP VThe customer service not great! I felt I was dealing with the DMV office. Getting help felt like pulling teeth.
KIRIL MUpdating the trailors would be a plus, older models don't have the balance they should. Stepping on the back will make the trailor pop up, which is unsafe for renters. New model trailor has front weight for balance. I got stuck with an old trailor this rental.

NURBEK KI was impressed with the hours of operation and the agents came out very quickly to instruct me on where to park the auto trailer. A very quick process.
EDWARD LThe service was terrible your credit card machine kept declining my credit card 3 times until the person input the info in the machine... plus the lock on the door of the vehicle did not work I was never told of that until I figured it out at 9pm when I was done putting all my belongings inside had to go to the store to purchase a lock that was $12 when I returned the vehicle I asked for a credit and the person was laughing as if I had made a joke and today when I get a record it said I had not put gas and that I had returned the vehicle the next day when in fact I returned it 1 day early. Never going back to that place and will be telling my friends as well

NANCY MAgent went above and beyond to answer my questions about the inside measurement of the trailer.
MARK AWe drop off trailers at this location 3 times a year (March, Summer & November) This is a very convenient location as to where we stay. This drop off we TERRIBLE!! I got to the location around 8:30 am on Sunday it was pretty chilly outside and not snowing quite yet. There were a few workers there. I went inside and they said that I would have to move the trailer to where it needed to go as they couldn't do it. So I backed the trailer into the spot they wanted. NO ONE came out to assist me. As you can see I rented the 6x12 trailer. It is NOT very light. I am 67 years old and am pretty fit but I tried to lift the trailer and couldn't do it. I had to go inside AGAIN, because as I mentioned before NO ONE came to assist me, to ask the employee (who looked to be pretty strong at least stronger than me) to come help me. With a huff he finally came out to help get it off the ball hitch to my van. I will continue to use this location because it is convenient to where we stay, but I hope someone has a talk with the employees that they need to get off of their butts and assist customers no matter what!!!!

Joseph SOnly difficulty was finding parking and getting through the lot. It might help to have signs by the driveways so that people don't come in the wrong way. A "Do Not Enter" by the Mount Prospect driveway. Truck was clean, handled well.
PETER RThe trailer in all was in bad condition, the trailer had damage making it difficult to stir and took me a very long to get the strap out. The strap were no good, the strap metal had way too much rust. Upon return I let the staff know the trailer should be inspected before renting, the trailer wheel seems to lock at times. I ask if there any discount that could be offer but they refuse. Keep in mind this is not my first time driving a trailer in general.
HECTOR FMake the vehicle easily accessible or provide a detailed description of where it is located. A site member couldn’t help me, I had to call customer service (great service) who reallocated me another vehicle (after running in circles for almost an hour), which I would expect was not well prepped to rent out as it had the gas cap hanging out, and a lot of dust/sand in the back. However the vehicle drove well.

SCOTT HI opted for mobile checkout, when it came to rental time there wasn’t equipment allocated to my rental so I had to go inside, 30-40 minutes later I had my rental and was able to leave with my rental. I called regarding my rental needing more time and was told it was not a problem, I returned my equipment and was charged double because nobody made adjustments to my rental.

DEAN KThe lady at the counter seemed helpful at first. She apologized for making me wait and asked how she could help me. I indicated that I had a reservation. That’s where the good experience ended. She then informed me that since I opted for the 24/7 option, I needed to go outside to the lockbox. She continued providing me with vague instructions. As soon as I asked her about the furniture dolly I rented, she stopped, made a face, and proceeded to tell me the order of which I proceeded were essentially insignificant. Subsequent to that, she was of no help and walk away never to be seen again. I struggled to find the vehicle. Once I did, I had to go through a series of checks and questions. None of this was mentioned to me. Therefore, I spent 30 minutes there just getting checked in. Absolutely no guidance whatsoever from that lady. Now, I must commend the gentleman who did in fact help me when I dropped it off. He walked out with me and told me he’d get me out of there along with a receipt. Quite the contrary experiences as evidenced by their individual personalities and work ethic. Shame on the women who worked the Des Plaines, IL location this morning 2/19 @ 9:30a. Smile, be polite and sympathetic. It’ll get you further at the job and life in general. Kudos to the other gentleman for being friendly and helpful.

JOHN CHydraulic brake setup on trailer was not functioning. We pointed it out when picking up the trailer that it looked damaged, but we were assured it was fine.

JIN ZThe truck I rented would not always shift into high gear or the torque convertor would not lock up. It had over 113K miles. The drivers seat was collapsed so thankfully I did not have a long trip. I drove a total of 66 miles and had to put in 12.1 gallons of gas to return at the same level. The counter agent stated she would see if there could be some adjustment made, but on my final invoice there was none. I can only hope someone else doesn't get that truck for a longer trip and have a huge gas expense.

RICHARD OTraining employees on better customer service practices. Manners and greeting customers goes a long way. I went to return my rental keys and the young lady is just sitting there with sunglasses on and just sticks out her hand and never says a word. The lack of professional is noticeable.
BRIAN DEquipments were blocking exit. Equipment were not properly arranged and displayed. Equipments reserved were not available even though paid for. Equipment not ready for pick up on time costing me valuable travel times and missing out on other engagements. I scheduled a mobile pickup for 7am and did not get equipment until 8:45am or thereabout. Not impressed. Utility dolly I was charged for was not available.
Joseph UMinor issues first, Inside glass of the van was dirty from offgasing of new plastic in dash etc. FULL DISCLOSURE, I am a retired auto service manager with 35 plus years of operational experience. Hard enough to drive an unfamiliar vehicle and not be able to see clearly. Ford design issue, this has got to be the smallest brake pedal I have seen in a long time, my foot had a hard time finding the brake. Major issue, upon returning the vehicle that night I was not given my final bill, I was told to watch my e mail for one the next day ( which has not arrived yet). However my credit card has been billed for the extra miles I put on above anticipated, sure would have been nice to know at 4:40 last night at turn in, also would be nice to see a breakdown of charges.

DIMITAR SThere was only one very hard working staff member at 8am pickup. She handled it very well, but needed assistance. My only complaint is that I paid for a furniture dolly and five blankets. I learned the hard way to not assume they were in my assigned truck for me. Hard on my moving help .
