Diana MThe staff was excellent and helpful. The staff found what was needed and the date and time to pick up the equipment was perfect. Staff explained the process and assisted in an excellent experience.
Mark NNo one told me about another additional fees. I was told the cargo van was 20$ to rent for FOUR! Hours. I got the insurance for 30$. So you would think after taxes it's the total of 60$. Also not to mention i was moving local about 20miles all together. I was charged a total of a whooping 120$ all together. If you were more upfront with the charges I wouldn't I have cared. But to be surprised with all these hidden fees. Never again.
William RThe man who processed my pick-up was excellent. I had to wait way too long, though, while another man spent an inordinate amount of time on the phone with someone asking questions about a trailer hitch. That phone customer was a potential customer and should have been put on hold so he could attend to customers waiting in line, in the store, like me.
Michael MDouble check the trucks before lending them out. I was rented a vehicle with a blown out headlight , I could have gotten pulled over and a ticket for the blown head light. After reading the agreement I was only rented the truck for an hour and 20 minutes.

ANTHONY FThe location itself wasn't the largest issue. The 3 month old reservation I made not being honored was my main issue. I was suppose to pick up the trailer at a closer location and it wasn't there and I had to go out of state to move my son from college and had to scramble to find another location that had a cargo trailer which was locatd much farther than I planned... it was very frustrating and dissapointing !

Yanis MThe guy that assisted me during pick up treated me like I’m a kid. He was impatient during the hookup. He was disrespectful, no courtesy whatsoever. He was in a rush and had his bluetooth earbuds the whole time. The guy Angelo that received me on my return check in was the total opposite. Courteous, very patient especially assisting me as I backed up the trailer. You should fire the other guy, he was a total asshole.
EDUARDO SThe lot was full almost to the point of not being able to pull in. The store itself was dingy. I handed the keys to the attendant but received no receipt or confirmation that I was good to go. I noticed later that I was double charged and my pickup location informed me that the truck had never been checked in.

William PThe location manager on duty was direct and efficient, she knew how everything worked and got me in and out quickly. Helped me return the car trailer early so I could easily unload the truck. Counter person during the truck return was also great, he clearly knew his work well and got me in and out quickly.

DORIN SAt drop off, when I arrived it was 7:10 pm. They were closed, I went to gas station and put $75 then the gas amount was exactly the same as when I got it at pick up. But today they charged me $23 for the gas. Probably they have used the truck and took the money from my account. This is a robbery

Todd SVery friendly and helpful customer service ad the desk. Truck was a bit creaky and not super comfortable for driving but it definitely did its job and it was the perfect size for our needs.

JETHIN VThis was a total train wreck! Called ACE hardware in Des Plaines to reserve the truck, they said I had to reserve on line at U-Haul.com. Made the reservation, got the confirmation with a note at the top saying someone would call before 5:00 P.M. the day before my pickup date to confirm. Never got a call. Went to ACE to pickup the truck as planned and confirmed, they didn't have any knowledge of me or my reservation. They said they couldn't even lookup the reservation number from their system. The only help ACE provided was to tell me to try the corporate shop in Des Plaines, they didn't bother to call there on my behalf to see if trucks were even available. Spent more time getting the reservation transfered and finally got a very worn out truck with 149000 miles on it, and a drivers door that occasionally opened of it's own accord, and sounded like a popcorn popper when accelerating. Since we were already over an hour behind schedule I decided to just suck it up and accept the old beater. Needless to say I am not a happy human, and Ryder is now my Truck Rental of choice.
Dan RI believe the gentleman who helped me his name was Fernando absolutely the most professional and helpful guy I have ever dealt with. Went above and beyond with the trailer rental process I have rented things at this location over the years, but this young gentleman is a true gem and someone that I would love to do business with on a regular basis.
Thomas RThe staff were great! Truck was clean and ready. However, truck seemed like it has a bad transmission. It jerked and did not shift gears smoothly. Transmission was stuck on first or second gears for a long time. And the steering wheel was not smooth either.
ENKU DPickup and dropoff was very easy and quick. Great people working there.

James CLiterally the definition of professional. The guys were warm and friendly, but they were also prompt and accommodating. They informed me of everything I needed to know about driving the trucks, handed me the keys to a clean truck, and sent me on my way. 10 out of 10 experience.

ANTHONY AI reserved a van at a different location that gave my reserved van to someone else and refused to resolve the situation. As a result I was an hour late to a scheduled job because I had to go to a different location to rent the van. The mt prospect location was fine, but overall the uhaul experience sucked and lost me money

Dave DThe worker was late in opeing up the store, so my pickup was delayed by 20 mins. The truck rear door was broken due to the rust of the hinges, this caused delays in our transportation plans. This delay caused us to drop off the truck during closing hours which was not helped by the fact that the equipeent return line was congested by parked/returned trucks to the point i coulndt park without blocking the entrance. I parked in the uhaul parkinglot instead It was a terrible experience

She was very marvelous helpful when I dropped off the truck today. The next lady who helped me was very intelligent. Also they were on point. Excellent job well done. I would recommend my friends and family to that location. Good job.
