I had a reservation for 7:30 did not get checked in until 8:00 am, the line was long and they only had one employee at the register. He kept going back and forth delaying our pickup time. There was never any I am sorry for the wait. His coworker showed up at almost 8. My opinion they should be better prepared employee wise especially on a Saturday to be better prepared. I have rented a few times in the past and this has always been the service at this location. I only chose this location for being so close to home.

Matilde MI want to take a moment to recognize Angelina Vasquez at the U-Haul location in East Los Angeles for providing exceptional service during my recent rental experience. I originally made a reservation on Thursday, August 21st, for a 26-foot truck to be picked up on the 23rd. However, since I was downsizing my apartment, I reached out to see if it was possible to switch to a 20-foot truck. Angelina went above and beyond to assist me. She provided clear and helpful pricing information, all while being incredibly friendly, courteous, and maintaining a genuine smile throughout the process. Her professionalism and positive attitude made what could have been a stressful situation feel smooth and easy. This kind of customer service is rare, and Angelina truly deserves recognition as the friendly and reliable face of U-Haul. I’ll absolutely be returning to this East Los Angeles location for any future rental needs, even if it means paying a bit more in mileage just to ensure a pleasant experience. Thank you, Angelina!

CALEB CI had no issue with the rental process. I actually found it very easy to rent at this location. One of the managers was very helpful with the rental process. The issue I have was the vehicle I was given to rent. The vehicle, Equipment number DC2500L, smelled like urine in the back, and had urine stains on the EZ ramp, and the vehicles transmission needs to be inspected. The vehicle shifted very rough at times. The only reason why I stuck with it, is because I had to move my belongings in a time crunch. Again, I have never had an issue with a vehicle, especially at this location. That being said, I would recommend it to someone else, but it would be advised, that you please clean the equipment or inspect it before releasing to the consumer. Thank you again for your help.
FRANCISCO NI am always renting for my corporation every 15 to 30 days. It is incredible that this location does not care about its clients. They rented to us without air conditioning when the truck had to go to San Bernardino where the heat is excessive. Whoever had to drive suffered in the highest temperatures of the season only because of the ineptitude of this manager who does not care about us as clients.

GRANT IWhen the local movers arrived to pick up the U-box, it was not ready - they had to wait. And then when they got to our pick-up location - they had not been provided with the promised 24 moving blankets - just 4. So I had to drive myself to the location to come pick up more blankets. This delayed the movers from getting to their next job on time - luckily they waited for me to return with the blankets. The staff at the location were accommodating, and got the U-box ready while the movers waited, and also provided the additional blankets when I explained. I know things can sometimes go awry, but this seemed to be an avoidable lack of communication from the national reservation system with the local office.

MANOLO RI made the rental on their app 3 days before event and it was sooo easy. the process is easy to follow, picked a vehicle, uploaded drivers license and payment info. and all done. Walked in and was handed keys in couple minutes. will use app again and this location too. good service and friendly.
