I would recommend a 99 cent air freshener to attempt to mask the lingering smell of cigarettes. Most individuals renting must smoke, but I don't. It is very noticeable to me.

I waited in line for 35 minutes to get my truck. The two employees working were great, however you should probably have more people working on the last Saturday of every month.

Poor customer service. When first arrived at location no one was at the front desk for over 10 minutes! Although the location had brand new equipments, I was given an old truck with 95,000+ miles that shouldn't even be on the road. When I asked the employee to get a better one he Rudley shrugged and said "Those New trucks are only for long hauls". Will never go back to that location. Probably won't rent from Uhaul all together.

rep advised me of a gas charge which I was fine with. Then once i returned the truck they advised me of an additional $30 for something I didn't even understand. Please explain UPFRONT what the charges are before anything. Thank you

UHAUL -- you need to... correction; must fix the side view mirrors in your trucks! My recent rentals have been a 20ftr, 17ftr and the last one a 15ftr. All 3 trucks had problems with the side view mirrors? If you don't know, one is not able to use the rear view mirror because of the trucks' cabins; therefore, the side view mirrors are CRUCIAL for navigating oncoming cars to each side as well as looking out for items when backing-up. YOUR side view mirrors DO NOT stay at the position where one sets it conveniently for the driver to see on both sides of the trucks! The mirrors don't stay! In addition, the last rental truck that I drove, the steering wheel had too much play! I could not keep the truck going straight? If I wanted to go straight, the truck would veer to one side or the other? Then I'd steer it back to the other side to avoid going over the side lines, but then it would go off to the far side? NOT GOOD! Also, make this task of driving your UHAUL trucks accessible for women by adding a step to step-up & into the truck, as well as off the truck, easier. I will be looking into other rental facilities and hope that the vehicles are better and easier to climb into the trucks than UHAUL trucks.
